Taxes just got EASY!!
I used to be so confused filing my corporate taxes, then I discovered WeFile. I filed a missing tax form and the application is so easy to use, I filed my most recent year taxes, ten months ahead of schedule - no more need to procrastinate! Highly recommended for ease of website, fast helpful support and good price. I almost wish there were more taxes to do... well, maybe not, but I'll be back next year and know it's become much more simple.

A breath of fresh air
Having struggled for many years with the annual stress of fitting Accounts into the HMRC format I found WeFile to be a breath of fresh air. The fact that you requested temporary permission to log into our Xero System and then fetched the correct data and put it all in the right places in a flash was absolutely brilliant. The £25 I paid was the best deal I have had in a long time!

For anyone reading: that connection goes through Xero's own secure authorisation, it's read-only, we never see your Xero login, and you can revoke access at any time — we simply pull the trial balance and map it into the right CT600 and accounts boxes for you to check before filing.

Simple and intuitive system that made my experience positive. The layout and format of the web based system is easy to follow and guides you through the process. As a micro business, this gave me the confidence that my paperwork was aligned to the HMRC expectations. The price point is also economical for the smaller business. Straightforward and easy to use
I do not use an Accountant, so had a degree of trepidation approaching the change away from using the HMRC portal. I need not have worried. I found WeFile to be straight forward with clearly laid out screens and validations to catch silly errors.
My only suggestion to improve it would be to put the corresponding CT600 field numbers against each of the fields on the screen.

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and for trusting us with your first filing away from the HMRC portal. Moving off a system you know takes a bit of nerve, so it's genuinely good to hear the screens and validations did their job and made it a straightforward process.
Your suggestion is a good one, and it's something we agree with. At the moment we show CT600 box references in a few places — mainly in the help tooltips on the profit & loss and tax computation screens, and on the supplementary pages — but it isn't consistent across the whole wizard. Displaying the corresponding box number alongside every field would make it much easier to cross-check against the official form (or against a prior year's return), particularly for anyone filing without an accountant.
We've added this to our development list and will look at putting a discreet box reference against each field, so it's there when you want it without cluttering the screen.

User friendly tax filing
Completing the tax form was straightforward and there was sufficient help. The fee of £25 is fair, but I had not seen it advertised until I had finished the filing.

We're glad the CT600 and accounts side felt straightforward and that the in-form guidance helped. On the fee: the £25 per trading company filing (£15 for dormant) is listed in the pricing section on our homepage, and nothing is ever charged until you reach the checkout step — you can complete the whole wizard, review the figures and download the draft CT600 and accounts before paying, and no submission is made to HMRC or Companies House until payment is taken. That said, if you only came across the price at the end, it clearly isn't visible enough early on, so we're making it more prominent at the start of the filing journey.

Was dreading the change from updating my CT600 from the Government portal to being forced to use a commercial software. But must say the experience with WeFile was excellent, simple to setup a login, no software to maintain and a simple form to complete and upload. Many thanks WeFile.

Just what I was looking for - Amazing!
I was dreading the move to having to file with software etc. since they shut down the Companies House website to do this. But so glad I found WeFile. The whole process was simple, the website amazing, the AI incredibly helpful when I was not balancing (so to speak) due to paid share capital. I am a huge fan and the amount of work put into this site is amazing. Don't want to subscribe to expensive software to do what I could do simply on my own via Companies House before. And at £25 a filing (I have two companies) I cannot fault it at all. (Maybe give us a few more than 5 AI requests would be nice :)). Highly recommended. Thank you - you saved me a lot of worry and unnecessary stress caused by the chaos of Companies House shutting their services down. The only stumbling block was having to remember each Company's Government Gateway and password - but thankfully I found those after a search (as companies house has also now moved everything to a new log in and it was directing me there, but I eventually found a way to find them (which had been previously saved on my computer auto fill) - why oh why oh why does CH have to complicate everything and keep changing the way you normally do things, like logins !??) - and now I have written them down for future reference, but I think WeFile also saves this information. Amazing, simple, and super happy. Thank you.

Easy online tool to file with HMRC, not free but still worth it
I needed to file before the August 7th deadline. HMRC removed the ability to file with companies house and HMRC and this was a big problem. I already use QuickBooks (awesome) so I had my profit and loss and balance sheet already prepared. WEFile linked into my QuickBooks account and within minutes prepared my micro/entity and abridged accounts, not only did it do that it connected to HMRC and filed everything for me. There was a charge of £25 but the alternative was to take a monthly subscription with another approved accounting software firm which would have cost me £65 each month.
In summary, this is a really, really, really good service and if like me you already have your up to date balance sheet this is simple, quick and effortless. I absolutely will recommend this service to any small business owner who needs to file with HMRC for MTD.

After HMRC/Companies House removed their online offering, I thought I was going to have to go with one of the web based accountancy companies to make submissions. Fortunately I found WeFile and for my very small company it makes life so much easier.
