Went in to sell my old car. We knew it was on its last leg. Chris was very helpful for the whole experience. It seemed like there was a lot more with my car then we thought, and Webuyanycar gave us what they thought was a fair price, I agreed with it. Very easy experience.

Pleasantly surprised with a great experience!
We had never sold a vehicle to anyone other than a family member, until yesterday when we met with Chris Gatti in Woodbury. We are pleased to report that the entire experience, from making the appointment to interacting with Chris during the inspection to leaving the appointment with a check for the sale of our vehicle, was very positive and pleasant. Chris was friendly, honest, fair, knowledgeable and made selling our vehicle very easy. Treating your customers like they don’t…
Treating your customers like they don’t know anything about automobiles And under cutting your original offer significantly, even after I provided supporting facts. Next time will not happen.
Ok, the “ fluid leak” I believe was left over oil from the new turbo that was just installed due to oil getting into it and ruining the old turbo. The “engine noise” was a very common sound from the BMW N20 engine. The engine has loud injectors, it has a nickname of “the sewing machine”. Ram has the Hemi tick, Subaru 4 Cyl has a knock. Engine sounds aren’t all that uncommon.

I do see that during the web valuation on 12/03/24 at 2:36 PM that the user declined to enter any damage about the 2013 BMW 5 Series. Our online valuation tool is great for getting an idea of what your vehicle is worth, but it’s based off the information provided to us by our customers. It is not a firm offer to buy your car, because like any reputable buyer, we need to perform a physical appraisal of the vehicle to confirm condition first.
Condition plays an integral part in a vehicle’s resale value, and we need to inspect the vehicle for any issues. I see from the notes our Branch Manager identified a fluid leak and engine noise which were a cause for concern. We went to our pricing team to try and maximize the amount we could offer. Unfortunately, these new damage items negatively impacted what we could pay.
You should have been invited to join us as we inspected the car so you could see what we saw. Hopefully you were invited to ask any questions you may have and were provided with clear, transparent answers. Our leadership team will investigate these matters and reach out to you directly. Please be on the lookout for our calls.
