Offer less than a third of quote.
When I asked for a quote online, I reported it was a Reconstructed Title. But when I went in, he told me I had not told them that, therefore, the offer was less than a third of the quote. I would have been better off to sell it for parts, especially since I had just put on brand new tires.

Hi Pat,
Thank you for choosing webuyanycar.com to sell your vehicle, and for making the trip to our Cranberry Township branch. A one-star rating tells us the team there fell short of the five-star service we set out to give on every appointment, and we are sorry for that.
On the record itself we want to be straight with you. When you completed the valuation online you told us the vehicle had been in an accident, however a salvage or reconstructed title is a much more serious disclosure, and our log of what was submitted online does not indicate that a salvage title was disclosed. Your vehicle's Experian AutoCheck history discloses a severe accident, with the vehicle towed from the scene and a police report filed, and shows the title branded salvage two weeks later on September 27, 2023. An online estimate cannot weigh an accident on its own in any event. Only an inspection can establish the extent of the damage and whether everything was properly repaired, and that is what the appointment is for.
What our team owed you was a plain explanation of all of that before you decided whether to accept, and we are sorry you had to raise it here to get one. Since you posted this, the Area Manager responsible for the team in Cranberry Township has spoken with you directly and we have done what we felt was right. We hope that conversation addressed your concerns and left you with a more satisfactory customer service outcome.
If you feel differently about us now than you did on Thursday, we would be grateful to know it. A five-star experience is what every webuyanycar.com customer is entitled to, and delivering one is what we intend.

He also ensured he knew the proper model of our car. We ultimately decided to sell the car due to the amount of repairs we’d need to have done. Stephan took care of the paperwork efficiently as well. The whole process went well.

Sale of a 2011 Acura
The process is straight-forward and efficient. The representative was professional and fair. My recommendation would be to provide more transparency on the associated fees involved in selling a vehicle. There should be some footnote on the website that the quoted car value will be adjusted based on the physical review of the car and reduced by some amount for documentation fees.

Easy and stress free!
We've never sold a car like this before, but would definitely use this company again! We started with the online process, then promptly received a call to schedule the in-person evaluation. Evan was friendly and extremely courteous when he came to look at the car. We accepted the offer, signed paperwork, and were issued a check on the spot. (The price was reasonable considering the age/condition of the car.) Within a couple days, some very nice gentleman came out and picked it up. The process was so easy and stress free!
