Paid $40.00 to begin a website / store. Supposed to be a one month ( month to month ) subscription, but I can not go foward with my ecommerce store unless I upgrade....I HAVE ALREADY PAID the first month. Also, Webstarts pricing is "all over the map" ...One screen pops up...and it is $40.00 per month....then another window says it is $50.00 per month...Im taking my business to GO DADDY.

Our experience with WebStarts has been devastating for our business. After investing years of work and thousands of dollars, we could no longer afford their increasing prices and decided to move our website elsewhere. WebStarts refused to release our domains and instead sold them to foreign gaming companies.

We lost our web presence, business materials, and credibility overnight — everything we built was destroyed. I’m shocked that an American company would operate this unethically. We’ve had to start completely over.

Do not trust WebStarts with your website or your business. They are dishonest and have no regard for their customers.

Been with webstarts somewhere from the middle of the 2010's until early summer this year. Overall, really good experience. They responded and helped tremendously when I needed something done or help with. My only slight take away is just falling behind in the new age of website building and resources versus competitors which is why I left. Just felt a little limited on things I was trying to do moving forward, e-commerce flexibility etc. BUT for those who aren't needing much and looking for something simple with a lot of creative freedom and flexibility, webstarts is great. It's been amazing for me for almost 10 years and the crew there is great to work with. Enjoyed my time for sure.

A true gem in a world of soulless website builders
After the heartbreak of seeing Kite.io shut down, I honestly thought no website builder out there would ever feel right again. Most are cold, overly technical, and clearly built for robots with computer science degrees — not for real humans with dreams and projects.

WordPress...? Sorry, but if hell had a user interface, I’m pretty sure it would look like that. 😅
