The staff were so friendly and made everyone feel welcome. I made new lifelong friends and I absolutely loved it. We did so many different activities and also learnt about important things like banking which they don’t teach in school. My only downfall is that a child can only do the away from home camp once as I would love to do it again

My son had an excellent time at a recent residential in Southampton with NCS. The staff were friendly and supportive, and he really enjoyed the activities.

My son has just been on his first holiday away without anyone he knows, he has adhd and asd. He has a great time made some new friends and really enjoyed doing the activities. His confidence has grown for him to talk to new people and make friends other than school where he only had a select few who he had grown up with.

My boys had a fabulous time and were buzzing about it. They do a mixture of things including life-skills (presentations/talking) from various visitors and fun activities. They loved every bit of it. Macy (one of the leaders) had a positive impact on them. The leaders are very down to earth, serious when they need to be, but overall try to make sure they show their friendly caring side, enabling the teens to feel at ease to speak to them if need be.
They made new friends straight away and have kept in touch with them, arranging a meet up soon.
Same they can only do it the once, the boys would love to go again.
NCS team are in touch several time before the event with emails and phone calls to teenagers and parents checking they are happy to attend, have any questions, reassuring etc. They are then in touch afterwards, seeking feedback on what they could do to make things better for the next cohort the following year.

My daughter LOVED this experience! She came back so happy, thank you! Such friendly, fun, easygoing and amazing staff. Didn't let the weather get in the way!
She did raft building, kayaking, archery and bushcraft and loved it all! The activities are super fun and bonding, and she quickly made friends, who are still in touch and making plans to meet again. This came at a difficult time and I'm so grateful for the experience.
Trips like these are so needed for our young people's mental health. Thank you so much!

My son has just done a week away with NCS and had a great time, he didn't want to come home! The whole experience has really boosted his confidence, he enjoyed the activities and loved the opportunity to meet new people. He is quite a shy boy and this has really brought him out of himself.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming.
The activities were very fun, toilets not the best but it’s camping so it won’t be amazing anyway.
Connie and Dan were absolutely amazing and Neive and Connie actually helped me get a job- thank you!!
NCS was wonderful and for the price it was very much worth it.

I really enjoyed loud speak and the out door activities. We had a great instructor molly as well it’s worth it and everyone is really welcoming

This experience was great. I didn't enjoy the amount of icebreakers and games played with cones, but overall as an experience, i really enjoyed it. The staff : Andi, Oscar & D were the most enjoyable staff possible. They were professional and helpful no matter what, and were extremely friendly. Any issues brought up were solved as quickly and as effectively as possible. If it werent for these 3 staff members, i wouldve not enjoyed my experience at all. Thank you Andi, Oscar & D. Without you three, the experience wouldn't have been the same.

NCS was honestly the best thing I have ever experienced in my life. It's a very good place to make friends, socialise and have a good time!! I know for a fact that I have made some amazing friends that I will have for life and the team leader I had was just the best. It's really sad how you can only do it once, but apparently they do a sleepover thing which I will definitely go to. It looks really good on your CV and helps you build confidence. 100% recommend and I think you should definitely do it. Make sure you bring a lot of snacks because sometimes the food isn't great.

My experience at NCS was amazing as well as the staff was so friendly Both my team leaders lami and shey was so kind and caring when difficult situations aswell as Nathan he was very accommodating and caring when it came to the more harder things to manage they always had time for you and the actitives was very fun over all had a great time x

I had a great time with all the people I met and I highly recommend it. The staff dea and Jess were great.

Completed NCS in August and honestly it was amazing. I had so much fun, the activities were great and organised so well and did lots of different things i never felt bored even though we got a good amount of free time. The food was good aswell and there was lots of it. Over everything though the staff went above and beyond for all of us. Andie is a great manager and organised everything super well and so did Jasmine and Tee. But especially Oscar and Dee over everyone made the trip so so much fun and were always helping us and making sure we were having a good time no matter what. They really made the trip and it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without them. I enjoyed NCS a lot and would recommend it to anybody.

NCS was a great experience the team leaders Andie, Oscar and Dee all were very accommodating and got to know us well in the short time we stayed together. The activities were very fun and the staff made them all that a bit better.

My NCS experience was great.

Me and my friends had three great staff members that were very nice and very down to earth with us. Their names were Oscar, Dee and Andie and they were great with helping us with the problems we had with other camp mates. So thank you to all them form helping us create more memories.

P.S what happens in room one stays in room one.

This week i made a lot of new friends which will last after this week which i really appreciate. The staff here are really fun and made this week extra special whereas if we had different staff i don’t think the week would’ve have been the same without them. The staff who made it more fun were Andie, Oscar and Dee. They were fun and entertaining aswell as professional when needed.

My experience was amazing. Oscar, Dee, Alex and Andie were all very kind staff members and made my experience extra enjoyable. NCS was very fun and i recommend it to everyone.
