I have never had to deal with a solicitors before this but I had no other option than to call round and find a company who was reliable and trustworthy. Also someone who I could open up too and confined in with such an awful case for the inquest into my brothers death. I was passed over to Lucy wennington who is a solicitor at Watson and woodhouse. From that day on Lucy done everything in her power to help me and my family and slogged her guts to get us the outcome we could have only ever imagined to get in court. We got the results we wanted and we can’t thank Lucy enough for all her hard work. Lucy is one of the most caring kind hearted women I have ever met in my life and she will always hold a huge place in mine and my families heart. Thankyou so much Lucy❤️

Ellie Boyd defended my client for a Public Order offence. It was the first time my client had been summoned to court and Ellie immediately put her at ease. In the 30 mins before being called to court, Ellie compiled all relevant info and, during the hearing, delivered my client's defence with accuracy and conviction. The outcome was extremely positive: A 3 month conditional discharge and court fee to pay in nominal increments, and my client was delighted that she could commence her college placement the following day, as planned.

Referred to this company Watson Woodhouse by Civil Legal Aid. Spoke to a young, unprofessional and rude, young woman on the phone with a very broad regional accent that I had difficulty in understanding and whom didn't seem to understand the law. However she did seem to enjoy being exceptionally rude to me whilst a second female was heard to snigger in the backgound.I would like to know where these people obtained their "legal training" if any. Avoid like the plague.

I used them for housing review via legal aid. My caseworker changed throughout my case, they failed chasing up GP evidence in time, despite I had well warned them there was a GP discharge deadline - they NEVER requested and checked my medical and council records; they just accepted what the council reviewer wrote and said nothing they could do to progress the case! My adviser - Rachel - did not even want to try… negligent! Also, almost all of their legal advisers are unable to speak British Standard English and I personally which am already a second language speaker could not comprehend them well. I had to struggle last minute to source new legal representation because of them I had put my trust in. NO, DO NOT USE THEM FOR HOUSING MATTERS PLEASE, anyone else can do or AT LEAST try better than them. They will set you up to be street homeless.

We received an excellent service from Richard Rutter and Conveyancing staff, in particular Laura Huntley-Peck at the Middlesbrough Office. We were very impressed with their professionalism. Communication was excellent and step-by-step instructions to achieve the successful sale of our house.
I would not hesitate to use their services in the future and would recommend to others.

This has been a truly difficult time for me and very stressful but my solicitor Ellie Boyd has been amazing keeping me updated and making sure I knew what was going on and very pactent with me I can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me

First of all they advised incorrectly wich led to my partner not getting his day in court so an appeal to the court was made and fees paid to the solicitor all he got was a complete run around and excuses after excuses she was on holiday more times than enough safe to say my partner never got his day in court and Kate spent his money on sun cream my partner should never of been charged in the first place due to the incompetent trainee solicitor

I approached Watson Woodhouse Solicitors though a referral after speaking to Shelter. I was homeless and needed support understanding my rights at first. Later they were able to get the council to withdraw a final offer property and point out that it was actually the homeless officers fault I was put in a unaffordable property.
