Craig Williams is an excellent swimming teacher. My daughter loves doing his classes. He always brings great energy to the pool, helps the little ones build real confidence in the water, and makes learning fun.

I would just like to say that this is such a great place to start your child’s swimming journey.

My daughter is five years old, and thanks to her teachers, but especially her most recent teacher, Craig, she has made enormous steps forward — leaps, I should say. She is now swimming lengths of the pool on both her front and back, which is something we are incredibly proud of.

I would like to express my gratitude to the whole team and to Craig himself. The progress she has made has been truly amazing. In fact, after today’s lesson, my daughter went up to Craig and told him that he is the best teacher. Nobody prompted her to say that — she simply recognises what a fantastic teacher he is and how much he has helped her.

It is a real pleasure to be part of Water Babies in Charlton, and we feel very fortunate that our daughter has been able to learn with Craig. Thank you for all the hard work, encouragement, and enthusiasm you bring to every lesson. It really does make a difference.

Craig is a nurturing and engaging tutor who is very inclusive and is super connected with the mums and babies!

We started swimming when we were 5 months old. We are almost 2 years old now. What an incredible experience swimming has been for us. It’s a great bonding experience where you have dedicated and uninterrupted time with your toddler. We have learnt songs and my instinct tells me that being involved in swimming has really helped a lot with building core strength and maybe indirectly contributed to us learning to walk and those gross motor skills. Craig is a great teacher! He incorporates more than just the basics and challenges toddlers to learn words, how to follow instructions, he encourages them a lot in their skills and I have just seen my toddler blossom in so many ways. Like I got the courage to get my toddler to repeat words after me after watching Craig do it during classes and me discovering my toddler can say a colour and fish! There isn’t enough time and space in the world to go through all the reasons why we love water babies but all I can say is - I highly recommend it!

I love Water Babies. The class is small and Craig, the instructor is the best teacher for my 9 months old. He’s very thorough and he ensures every baby gets a good lesson.
I recommend him and the Water Babies to every parent who wants to learn their child how to swim.

I attend Water Babies Charlton and I’m extremely happy with our trainer, Craig. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trainer — he’s fantastic with the children and makes every session enjoyable and confidence-building.
However, I am a bit disappointed with the changing room facilities. There are not enough changing rooms with locks, which makes things difficult, especially with children. Additionally, Swimsuit dryer for wet clothes stopped working a few months ago and has still not been repaired or replaced.
While the teaching itself is excellent, improving the changing facilities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

So far it has been an amazing experience. The teacher is an absolute germ.

My son absolutely loves waterbaalbies it’s hands down the best activity you can do with you infant. He now loves bath time and is super confident in the water, Craig is the best teacher and my son is always delighted to join his classes

Craig is such a great swimming instructor - he is patient with the babies and the parents. He keeps the babies and parents engaged throughout. Its a lovely thing to see the babies get more confident in the water. Thank you!

My daughter loves her water babies classes, we've been going since she's been 11 months and she's now almost 3.
She's confident in water and I'm sure will grow up to be a very good swimmer.
Special thanks to her instructor Craig, he's simply awesome.

The changing rooms are a bit dirty and there is only one shower. People walk there with outside shoes and then with their feet and then to the pool. Nots sure how clean this pool is as a result. The pool is nice and warm though. The teachers are generally nice.

I had been taking my children since they were babies here, weekend after weekend. I was dissapointed to realise that at the age of 5 once they moved to a normal pool, they were not much more advance than any other child whose never been in water. They skipped the initial grade but went straight into level 2. At the end of the day, no matter how much they have swam when they were babies, swimming is about skills that they get when they are older. They obviously did not fear the water but i think that can also be achieved when going on holiday or occassional family lessons rather than spending almost £100 monthly.

Craig is a brilliant teacher and we love how much our daughter has progressed!

Water babies is amazing! One of the best choices we made for our little one.

Our little one absolutely loves water babies. It’s made her confident and fond of being in the water and the tutor is amazing
