Water Babies - Bristol & Bath Anmeldelser 

We love waterbabies! We started when our little one was just 8 weeks old. He absolutely adores water, and has always had fantastic body strength which we are sure must be in part due to swimming. He happily goes underwater, and we have recently been on holiday where we took him in the sea and practiced some of our WB exercises which he absolutely loved. From ‘jumping’ waves, to swim position kicking.
We think swimming is a vital life skill and are so pleased we signed up.

The highlight of our week. Every lesson is so enjoyable and we have already learnt so much!

I knew we wanted to start swimming lessons early, and we had our first lesson when O was 10weeks old. The first lesson was I nervous but was very quickly made to feel welcome. I was not happy and cried for 27mins of a 30min class and my anxiety was increasing, however I was reassured and encouraged to come back…. I’m so glad we did! Several lessons in now and O absolutely loves it. She hasn’t cried since the first lesson. The teacher Poppy is so lovely and calm, we look forward to the end of each week now knowing we have swimming. Highly recommended if you’re thinking about it but undecided.

Our little boy has been going to waterbabies since June when he was 3 months old and has gained so much confidence in the water as well as having fun and making new friends! Craig is so patient and encouraging.

Terrible support
It's expensive, the teachers are good but make sure you don't work and don't get ill.
They say they offer catch up lessons, I had notification that the one place I could visit stopped hosting them, then they have no update for a year and no further communication until they were chased.
I broke my wrist andy husband tried to call them to sort out lessons, they didn't pick up the phone and failed to call him back.
You'll lose money.
If you're cancelling, you have to use tokens before you can stop which means they string you along, without catch up availability all the while paying for something you'd like to stop.
If it was just for the teachers, 5 stars.
For the business negative 5stars.

Lovely setting and fab teachers. My son is really becoming confident and loving each session in the pool.

Our children love their swimming lessons with Hannah at Harry’s hydro. Would highly recommend and we have had really good customer service on the phone to Waterbabies whenever we’ve had to call them as well.

We have been with water babies since 2020 with both our children. From the teachers in the pool to the office staff everyone goes above and beyond. Our boys are so water confident and know how to be safe in the water. Water babies are fantastic! Thank you!

We love going to our swimming lessons together, it has helped found stronger bonds between myself and my son. His confidence has grown and he loves being in the water, his teacher is amazing and he gets excited when he hears her voice as we walk in. I love that we learn water safety as well as swimming skills. As a not very strong swimmer it has helped me feel confident around water. I have booked onto the under water photo shoot and can not wait for that, all the products iv brought from water babies have been amazing too good quality and true to size. We just need to collect all the fishes now as my son loves when they come out 😃

Make learning to swim fun whilst still being informative. The instructors are knowledgeable and make you feel at ease with bringing your baby into the water.

I could not recommend waterbabies enough, my little boy has been swimming with since he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it, he's so excited when he sees the pool, and smiles all the way through his lessons.

We've worked with a few different instructors, as we have moved classes and done a couple of catch up lessons in different locations around Bristol and they have all been supportive and welcoming, especially because I can't actually swim myself.

Communication with the head office has been great, my little boy had an accident and needed some time away from swimming to recover, and they've been nothing but helpful considering the circumstances, pausing our membership and helping switch classes.

Now he's nearly 1, and I'm returning to work it's the only class we will be continuing after maternity leave just because we love it so much!

10/10 would recommend, completely worth the money!

Water Babies has been incredible for my baby's development, noticeably improving hand-eye coordination and head/neck strength. It's also a wonderful life skill. The instructor Chelsey is the heart of it she is extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and creates such a safe, fun environment. We trust her completely and highly recommend Water Babies to all parents.

I have been taking my daughter to a water babies class for 3 months and it's amazing to watch how much she is developing, gaining confidence in the water, picking up the skills and also using skills at home! (Babies put their swim toys back at the end of activities and she's started to get better at tidying up at home too!)

The classes are more expensive than some, but each session is filled with so many activities - without being overwhelming - and the small groups mean if your baby is having an off day you can have a little extra attention of needed and you don't feel pressured to take part in activities if your baby needs a break and a cuddle.

Hannah is our instructor, so I can't speak for the others, but she's great and highly recommended!

We have done Water Babies with our baby since he was 7 weeks old (nearly a year ago now!) at Seahorse Hydrotherapy Pool in Trowbridge with Charlene and it's been the best and most rewarding baby class we've done.

The pool is nice and warm, small and shallow so easy to do the classes with the baby. The class is nice and small so we get plenty of attention from Charlene. She is such a fantastic, engaging teacher, the babies love her, she explains everything so well and reassures us with everything we do. Our son now absolutely loves the water and he's so strong and confident, it's made such a difference to him.

Yes it's quite expensive, but for the quality of the lessons and teacher, the safety focus, the important life skills, and the smile he has on his face when he's splashing about, it's definitely worth it for us, even if it's the only class we can afford to do.

I really do recommend it to anyone with a baby to improve their confidence and strength in the water.

We’ve been swimming with Waterbabies’s since my eldest was just 3 months old. Hannah and Craig our instructors are just fab! Both of my children have developed amazing water confidence and my 4 year old can now swim a width of the pool. Taking them to lessons from a young age has also improved my confidence with them on the water. I would recommend Waterbabies’s time and time again! Lessons are structured with regular badges given out and most importantly they are lots of fun for little ones!

While I can't say anything negaticmve about the classes, which are engaging and led by well prepared teachers, ai am not satisfied with the organisation. I have attended two different pools. In neither of them there is a bin for nappies. In one of the two ypu are not allowed to bring a pushchair. On top of that you have to pay two month in advance and give 2month notice, which is a lot of money and not rwalistic with toddlers. You cannot get a regund if you need to miss a lesson, ypu can only get a replacement lesson, but they always run at places/time that are unlikely to work, so i ended up throwing away a lot of money.

Incredible experience for me and my little one. Poppy our instructor is fantastic and really encouraging. The lessons are very well planned and full of great activities which have helped my daughter’s confidence and skill in the water. Highly recommend
