At first, I approached WatchEx.ca on their website with a reservation that is normal for anybody who is in the market to sell their Rolex. After sending in "basic" info about my watch, Kevin from WatchEx was generating his excitement in finding out more about my Rolex from the start of our exchange in emails. My 1967 Rolex DRSD pictures that I sent to Kevin accelerated the process of firming a handsome price quote that I would never have thought possible had I gone prospecting buyers through local means (i.e. pawn shops, Kijiji, etc).The transaction process that Kevin uses is safe, sound, and secure right from digital signing of sales agreement right though to prepaid shipping with total insurance coverage of my Rolex. Upon his receiving my Rolex shipment to WatchEx, Kevin's watch maker took a look at it and verified that my watch was authentic and forwarded payment to my bank within the next day.

I purchased a Rolex Oyster Perpetual in 1970 and decided to sell it. There are really only three ways to sell such a watch - privately (through Craig's List Ebay etc), Through a regular auction house or through an online commercial purchaser. The first is fraught with problems (security etc) and the second has a high level of uncertainty (and high costs) so I decided to use an online purchaser. I contacted three and as requested sent each the requested information. Watchex (Kevin Shiels) contacted me and made a firm offer which I accepted. From that point on the process was trouble free and I was sent the prepaid FedEx shipping label and sent the watch to Calgary. I received the full amount agreed in my bank account within the 2 business days as promised. I would highly recommend Watchex to any one with a high value watch to sell.
