Fast, Professional & Courteous Service
Fast, professional and courteous service from the guys at Watch Buyers UK and I will use them again.
Of course I would have liked a little more for my watch but understand the margins involved and it needed a polish. TBH they could have probably bought trade from Omega at close to what they paid me, so no complaints.
My alternative options were eBay or Chrono24. In the end I decided I was not comfortable selling through eBay something of this value, and this was easier and quicker than Chrono24.
The process was swift from start to finish and they kept me informed all the way.

They are selling items on ebay which they do not have in stock.
Next they ship the item where UPS wants your social in order to deliver. Beware, they are a pain to deal with

You bought a watch from our ebay UK store though you are based in the US and this will have been shown as an international seller to you. It does clearly say on all of our listings that the watch is available to order.
We can see that you ordered on the 14/06/2019 and we dispatched on the 28/06/2019. The brand new watch was advertised at £3100 which was at a discount of 20% off RRP and we actually sold it to you for £2500 with the caveat that this was VAT free, because of your location, and that there would be customs fees of about 5%, which is the norm to the USA. This equated to a discount of -35% in total. A very good price. When the watch arrived in the USA the courier contacts the customer and asks for their TAX ID and the fee, which in this case was $200. For reasons unknown you refused to give your TAX ID and pay the small customs fee. The law in the USA is that when you pay customs fees you give you TAX ID. We have sold many watches to the USA and have never had a problem before as the savings we offer of 20% VAT more than pay for the customs fees of cost plus 5% approximately. Despite the courier, US customs and our team trying to contact you numerous times you did not reply. Then you raised a case on Ebay for item not delivered. Ebay.com and UK decided in our favour because it is the buyers responsibility to pay any customs fees on cross border sales.
Please just pay the $200 so your the government does not destroy the watch. It seems a needless waste just so you don't have to give your TAX number.
If you had contacted us or replied to our messages we would have done our best to help but you never did and now you are at risk of loss because the matter has been taken from our hands.

Omega seamaster purchase
Before buying the latest omega seamaster 300m professional master chronometer 2018 model from watchbuyers I had a number of questions which they replied to and answered quickly.They also kindly reduced the price of the model I wanted to the same price as the black dial with black bezel (I wanted the grey dial with blue bezel)which they had advertised initially at different prices.
It was brand new and as described,saving me £600 off high st.prices,goldsmiths,omega and Beaverbrooks including other online retailers all had this model up at £3970.
My watch arrived within 48hrs of payment,well packed and exactly as described. They also said theyd assist me if they could with the purchase of the white dial/black bezel seamaster when its released later in the year.
A fantastic service with great communication would definitely recommend and use again.
Thank you,so happy with my watch,wear it everyday.
