Wales Chauffeur Tours Anmeldelser

Easily the best decision we made on our trip was choosing Wales Chauffeur Tours! We had just a few days in Wales and wanted to see some of that beautiful country. I reached out with a few questions and heard back quickly with options that fit our timing and interest. We chose Wye Valley tour (this review) and a Gower tour (another review)and honestly, would have done more if we didn’t have to head home.
We were contacted the day before with the driver contact and vehicle information. Pick up at our hotel the next morning was right on time and the vehicle was spotless.
Dave was a fantastic guide, he’s very knowledgeable about the country and the history of all the places we visited during the Wye Valley tour. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish.
Our favorites from the tour, Tintern Abbey and unexpectedly the Roman Legion museum and Roman baths. At the museum we thought we’d take a quick look and move on and ended up looking at every exhibit in detail. Just incredible history.
Touring like this meant we could go at our pace and while there was suggested timing, it was up to us if we stayed less time at one stop and more at another.
I highly recommend Wales Chauffeur Tours! Outstanding customer service, knowledgeable drivers, pristine vehicles, and the convenience of pick up and drop off. See as much of Wales as you can!

Ausman was a great and knowledgeable tour guide and driver. I would not hesitate to use him again. I enjoyed Tintern Abbey and especially Raglan Castle, but Caerphilly was a bit too restored for my taste.

The company responded quick to enquiries and also provided guidance.
Ausman was fantastic and is highly knowledgeable. He made contact before our trip and was excellent on the day

They worked with us to provide a flexible itinerary depending on weather. Dave picked us up on time and provided us with details about the route and what we were seeing. The countryside was beautiful and we had a fine time. We'd connect with them again for future travels.

Ausman did a fantastic job. He contacted us before the trip to ensure that we knew where and when to meet, and then couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our Wye Valley tour. A WiFi hotspot to check on potential lunch stops… a call ahead to book a table… a stop for a great cup of chai…. Plus all of the sights (castles, abbey, Roman legion town) plus a few others that we had not expected but really enjoyed. He told us about extra shopping stops that we could have done, as well as ideal spots for views. He provided quick summaries of the sights we were about to see. Comfortable car, and stellar driving. But so much more! Really outstanding!

My wife and I just returned home after the most wonderful 10 day tour of Wales. What a beautiful country and wonderful people! The best part of our adventure, however, was our guide and chauffeur, Ausman. He was so knowledgeable of Welsh history and tradition and knew the backstory of so many key events. He was also a skilled driver with an extremely comfortable and immaculate luxury vehicle. Most importantly, however, was his kindness and consideration. Ausman quickly recognized my aging knees somewhat hampered my mobility, so he handled all our luggage and made every effort to find the most easy access to each of the many places we visited. He was punctual, attentive and tailored each day to our personal interests and enjoyment. Ausman made our trip the most comfortable and edifying travel experience we have ever had.

We had a wonderful all day tour of Wales. The driver was very prompt and very attentive to our wishes. He was extremely flexible for the day. This tour was just my wife and myself. We felt safe riding with him. I would highly recommend Wales Chauffeur Tours.

We used Wales Chauffeur Tours for a full day driving tour of the region surrounding Cardiff. Our driver was Ausman Ashraf. Ausman was an excellent driver and also served as a knowledgeable guide to suggest additional stops and provide information on the areas we visited. Ausman was punctual, professional, helpful, and an excellent driver. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend using Wales Chauffeur Tours and Ausman for this type of excursion.

Our small group of three booked two one-day tours with Wales Chauffeur Tours. Dave was fast in replying to my initial inquiry and the website was helpful in trip planning. We selected the Gower Peninsula and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Dave supplied helpful suggested itineraries for the tours.
Our guide, Ausman Ashraf, always arrived early for pickup. His electric vehicle was comfortable and very clean. Ausman, was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with. I appreciated his flexibility, allowing us to adjust tour stops to our preferences. His local knowledge was helpful in making those decisions. In addition, he followed up sending interesting facts about Wales.
I highly recommend Wales Chauffeur Tours for their outstanding customer service, trip planning, and local knowledge. It was important to me to use a local tour company with tour guides who live in and are invested in the community. Thanks Dave and Ausman for making our stay in Wales such a pleasure!

Our guide, Ausman, was incredible, a true gentleman. He listened carefully to our preferences and built a tour that gave us exactly what we wanted. He was knowledgeable, well spoken and personable. It was like a journey with a good friend who was in the know. Highly recommended.

First of all Atiq was really lovely to chat with along the way. We laughed, we joked, it was great. He was a total gentleman. As a history nerd, the castles and cathedral really blew me away. I have only ever seen them on my history shows and to see them in person was sublime. The tour is a nice go at your pace so you don’t feel rushed. Atiq had some facts about each place for me which satisfied my thirst about the history and I absolutely explored to my heart’s content at each place. If you go, I hope you get Atiq as your guide. Good man.

I can’t say enough good things about Dave and the tour he put together for us. All communications and arrangements were handled efficiently and professionally. After hearing about our interests, Dave put together what ended up being the perfect 3-day itinerary for us. Every stop was splendid. Dave was professional, conversational, funny and personable (great and safe driver as well). We hardly knew Wales at all and now it’s one of our favourite places. Five stars, all the way!

Would highly recommend this company. Our drivers Dave and Jonnie were great, providing excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble, giving us a perfect balance of structured itinerary and tailored flexibility. From planning our tours, driving us and guiding us around, everything was handled very professionally. Dave and Jonnie were both knowledgeable, informative, relaxed and very entertaining! Do yourself a favour and book a tour with them, you certainly won’t regret it. Thanks Wales Chauffeur Tours you really made our holiday complete🙂

Had a lovely tour with Mr Ashraf - thank you for that

Dave was extremely helpful even before the tour began assisting us with discovering out of the way churches and chapels including one with Templar roots and another with the grave of a Welsh literary icon (Henry Vaughan, the Silurist). Always professional, informative and entertaining, Dave was a key part of making the trip a success for both myself and my husband by suggesting additional villages and ancient ruins to explore as well as rail tours and an aviation museum. It was a lucky day when I happened across Wales Chauffeur Tours. See further review for more general touring.

We did the 3 Castles tour with Jonnie. He was very informative and fun - we had a great day! I would highly recommend the tour company, their service and the driver. Five Stars!

What a wonderful and informative day we had with Dave from Wales Chauffeur Tours, we did the castle tour and were absolutely thrilled with everything, from the very timely responses to our enquiries, to Dave's pick up and service for the entire day. We absolutely loved the itinerary (don't change a thing!), the car was wonderful (aircon was a blessing given the heatwave) and Dave was, beyond being extremely informative, was attentive and made the day extra special. Can't recommend enough and we will definitely be back soon!

Had a wonderful day trip. We went to Puzzle Forest and Hay-on-Wye. Antoni was an excellent guide. Loved that we could customize our itinerary, and the timely communication was very appreciated.

We had a wonderful day tour. Antony was the perfect guide. Thank you very much, highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience on our full-day tour. Antoni was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the region. When one of the castles on the itinerary was unexpectedly closed for a film shoot, he instantly offered great alternatives. The tour provides a great way to enjoy natural scenery and historical sites. Highly recommended!
