Heerlijk echt vers gebrande koffiebonen razendsnel bij je thuis. Dikke plus dat de koffieboeren eerlijk betaald worden. Kan de transparantie van dit bedrijf zeer waarderen. 💚🌸

Lack of service, do not deliver coffee that you have signed up and paid for!

Sign up for a coffee subscription, they will take the money from your account and will not deliver the coffee. No customer service, do not respond to emails, do not respond to messages and do not answer the phone. They take the money and claim they send the coffee, 5 days later no coffee, no email responses, no returned messages or phonecalls.

Strange delivery

Hi! The coffee hasn’t arrived yet, so I can’t review the product itself. But I can review the delivery experience. For two weeks, my order was not shipped, and I didn’t receive any response to my email inquiry. It made me feel confused. I’m still waiting for the coffee and truly hope that once I try it, I’ll be able to update this review to five stars!

We genuinely love Wakuli’s coffee but...

We genuinely love Wakuli’s coffee and the mission behind the company. My girlfriend orders quite often because we really enjoy the taste and the idea of supporting a brand that aims to make a positive impact.

Unfortunately, the operational side has been disappointing multiple times. My most recent experience involved ordering a physical gift card well in advance for a birthday. The shipment never arrived, there was no tracking, and I only found out something was wrong after contacting customer support. By then, the birthday had already passed.

This is not an isolated incident. On several occasions, shipments have taken much longer than expected, or PostNL marked them as delivered while nothing actually arrived. We have also received the wrong product more than once. To be fair, customer service has always been friendly and willing to refund or let us keep incorrect items. That part is handled well.

However, for a company that positions itself as impact driven and detail oriented, these recurring logistical mistakes feel careless. It also seems like there is not enough pressure being put on the delivery partners to ensure reliable service.

We will likely continue enjoying the coffee, but the fulfillment and shipping experience really needs improvement.

Lage kwaliteit

Voor een beetje koffiekenner is Wakuli geen optie. Eerlijke prijs voor de boeren is super natuurlijk maar de bonen hebben een lage kwaliteit. Heel veel defects in mijn kleine zakje bonen.
De prijs is ook laag voor een zakje dus dan kun je dit ook verwachten

Hi Jiska, dank je wel voor het delen van je ervaring! Vervelend om te horen dat de kwaliteit van de bonen niet aan je verwachtingen voldeed. Dat is uiteraard niet wat we willen, zeker omdat we specialty coffee aanbieden en daar hoge kwaliteitsstandaarden voor hanteren.

Zou je ons foto’s van de bonen met de defecten willen sturen? Dan kunnen we dit goed beoordelen en samen naar een passende oplossing kijken. Je mag de foto’s mailen naar coffee@wakuli.com.

We helpen je daar graag verder, bijvoorbeeld met een vervangende zak.

Fijn verpakt, leuke kaartjes erbij met uitleg over de bonen. Koffie smaakt goed! Zeer tevreden.

Wakuli heeft heerlijke koffie

Wakuli heeft heerlijke koffie. Niet te zwaar gebrand waardoor de koffie smakelijker is dan 'gewone' koffie. Daarbij komt dat de koffie boeren een veel betere prijs krijgen voor hun bonen. Dat maakt de koffie nog lekkerder

Great coffee, bad delivery

Great coffee, but since the last time I ordered (in the summer) they changed to GLS delivery. I didn't realise this, so the tracking link was a surprise. Only morning delivery slots available so chose a parcel safe. Notification: unable to deliver, choose something else. Again only morning slots or parcel shops a minimum of 5km away. Chose home delivery because in my flat there's always at least one neighbour at home (but no telling which one so couldn't fill in their address). But ofcourse, "you weren't home, choose a parcel shop", none closer than 5km... So incredibly frustrating and 4 days wasted waiting for it, so unless they switch back to PostNL I won't be ordering again.

Heel goede ervaring met de klantenservice

Heel goede ervaring met de klantenservice op mijn melding dat de koffiebonen verpakt als brievenbuspakje niet zijn binnengekomen ondanks mail met afleverbevestiging van PostNL. Wakuli bood direct aan om de koffiebonen opnieuw te versturen als spoedbestelling voor hun rekening.
