I've been buying from them for the past few months and the service is excellent. They're punctual and the product quality is good. If they don't have a product in stock, it's not their responsibility; they stock the products they receive from the warehouses, so it's not up to them. If they don't have a product, they give you more options to choose from. We're very happy with their service.

Ordered chicken thighs arrived smelling rancid
Ordered apples arrived completely bruised
Ordered chicken based on price but charged more and refused to refund money
Ordered expensive cherry tomatoes on the vine but sent me loose woody grape tomatoes at price of expensive cherry tomatoes
This delivery service is disgusting and is getting worse for charging inflated prices but sending subpar rotten items
Have switched delivery services to one whose prices are as advertised and quality superior to Voila.

Aujourdh'ui j'ai fait une commande en ligne sur Voila.ca en suivant la circulaire de IGA et en vérifiant ma facture je me suis apercu que ma caisse de coke zéro a 6.97 sur la circulaire etait a 10.28 sur voila ainsi que l'eau minérale Montelier en spécial a 5.88 était a 8.28 avec voila.Le service a la clientele me dit que c'est normal car ils n'ont pas toujours les meme prix meme si IGA appartient a SOBEYS. J,ai cancellé ma commande c'est déja assez cher
Voilà.ca est un bon service fiable
Voilà.ca est un bon service fiable. Ça fait quelques années que je l'utilise. Leur site a de la diversité et c'est facile d'y naviguer et de l'utiliser. Bonne fraicheur des aliments et produits. Tous les articles prévus dans la commande sont toujours livrés. Aussi il y a des bons spéciaux et souvent des offres généreuses avec la carte Scène+. Parcontre desfois, il y a des ruptures de stock et donc articles manquants dans la commande à cause de cela. Mais c'est quand même rare. On est avisé par courriel lorsque ça se produit. Voilà pourquoi mon 4 étoiles et lieu de 5.

I ordered for delivery next day between 9 and 11 AM.
They were correct and came at 10:00. Unfortunately, I did not hear my phone when they rang the door at the main building entrance. My mistake.
But, waited for a call, an email nothing. Around 14:00 PM, I sent an email in reply to the order confirmation. I was upset at myself and at them. I wrote asking if they will retry for the delivery and, if not, to reimburse.
15 minutes later, I got from my bank an advise that I was credited by voilà for the amound previously charged. Good but, no communication on their part? This is not good practice to keep clients. That was my first and last order.

So, they would have been a 3 or 4 star service. For the most part they were a good delivery service, but some items on the site were just chronically out of stock. I used to wonder why. Now I know it's because they were planning on shutting it down without any notice. This has left me without any reliable options as I'm unable to shop for groceries due to mobility issues.
Limited product availability.
The Voila site is easy to use. Delivery is quick and efficient, and the delivery drivers are very nice.
However, the selection of products is limited. Often you can get large bags of potatoes, but you can't order just a few. Or they have only one type of orange available even when oranges and clementines are in season. Or only one brand of a type of soup broth available. Or they don't have any type of another common grocery item you ordered.

I don't have any complaints at all and I will continue to use this service because I prefer to have someone else lug my groceries to my door rather than me doing it by myself.

Voila suddenly disabled my account after being a regular customer for many years. Tried to call to find out why and no one knew anything. now seeing the 2.7 rating says it all. Terrible service i see. Even there online selection wasn't really all that great. Nothing like Fortinos. Just use instacart, uber etc. much better. I wont even shop at sobeys again either.
customer service awful after fraud on our card
hello, we are writing to you as a last effort to resolve an issue we are having with a website voila in nova scotia
we noticed a charge on our company credit card that we did not authorize. we attempted to contact the vendor and they told us to contact the bank. the bank then told us we are outside of the allotted time and that we should contact the vendor again. after numerous emails back and forth the refuse to help.
please read on because we were asking for extenuating circumstances from voila and they still say contact the bank that they have no recourse. this obviously is not true as we know how this works, we are a business as well.
so in the end we realize that we caught this too late, however, what was charged on our card was an annual service fee to the voila website for ordering, so whomever used our card is using a year of services for under six months at this point. what we were asking them to do is to lookup said purchaser and cancel their account for fraud as they didn't own the card, and issue us the remainder six months of services since we are the one who actually paid for the service. they again refused and said only the bank can deal with this.
why are they not responsible to discontinue service to the fraudster and give the service to us as the company who actually paid for it (intentionally or not, we paid).
so we have no contract (since they would have sent that to the fraudster's email address), and we have no receipt for the same reason. all we have is our credit card statement, our cardholder info and the amount of the charge. we also have a history of the conversations with their team back and forth.
Watch for suspicious charges
I had placed an order to be delivered today. When I took a look at my credit card statement last night, there was a charge, from Voila, for $105.62. The order was $68 and change.
I called Voila to ask about it, and after the lady I talked to checked to see what it was about, she couldn't find anything.
For now, that charge is in the Pending section of the credit card statement. If that charge is posted, I may consider legal action.
UPDATE: I've left Voila and am dealing elsewhere.
The best grocery delivery service!
Voila is the best delivery service by far, and I've tried them all.
I've been using the Voila service for about 6 months now and am never disappointed. Replacements or out of stock items are very rare, and in those rare cases the replacements are appropriate and I am always informed by an email and the delivery person.
The selections for produce and meat are always fresh, and the delivery people are so friendly and courteous.

Once I resolved credit card authorizations with my bank, everything is very satisfactory- I have now placed more than five orders - all without issues. The drivers are courteous- bring the delivered items right to our table in the house - frozen items are delivered frozen - no missing items - no unsolicited substitutions… very satisfied customer.

Would love to use this service but they don't want the business apparently. They won't process my payment. Tried numerous times. Called them and they don't know. Called my bank and my visa but they say Voila's payment system blocks my payments. If they don't want my money, that's fine. Not sure how they can run a business this way.
