Excellent organisation - hand holding and quick and friendly comms. My editor Stephan and the sound person Olivia were really responsive and if you think you just sign up and help yourself you could not be more wrong - it is a collaboration and they deserve to flourish - as a charity organisation we just want to maintain our reputation and we feel it is safe with VoiceMap.

This app is very friendly and easy to work with. The VoiceMap editors are incredibly helpful at every turn. I’m particularly grateful for the help from Stephan my Tour Editor and Chad my Audio Editor. They were extremely understanding and patiently answered my every question. Thanks a lot! I've made my first tour with their help and I hope it's not the last one.

I signed up for a tour that I was going to take tomorrow. I installed the app on my phone. I tried at least 8 times to get it to work. All it did was bounce up and down with static on the screen or shut itself down. Per AI, this is due to:

"Because the "static jumping" happens immediately upon opening, this is a launch-level graphics conflict. Since you're on a cutting-edge Samsung 'X' with Android OS 'X', the app's initial "drawing" instructions are likely crashing against the new OS's display protocols."

Also the transaction is foreign, so due to potential fraud, I closed my credit card. I also emailed them for an immediate credit.

Too bad, I was interested in trying an app that is voice guided rather than where you have to constantly turn your phone on and look at your screen to follow the tour.

I have talking about doing something like for years. Whilst I am not the most tech savy person I have found the process relatively straight forward with the guidance of primarily Stephan and Chad for Audio. I am now really excited to see what happens with my tour and now that I have started I look forward to working with these guys again with future tours.

It's not an easy task to guide someone creating an audio tour. What Stephan did exceptionally well. He really was kind, patient and coordinated on a very high professional level.

Using VoiceMap with Stephen as Audio Editor was smooth and seamless. Strong storytelling, clean audio, and a well-crafted final experience....

Just finished my Barcelona Audiotour and honestly, the support from VoiceMap was next level. Stephan was a massive help as my Tour Editor. He really helped me sharpen the storytelling and made sure the flow was spot on. And a huge thanks to Chad for the audio editing; he made the whole thing sound so professional and polished. Working with VM is simple, easy and intuitive, but working with the VM team is really what makes it special! A whole team of folks are working hard behind-the-scenes to give it the quality and production value that tour-goers appreciate and love! As a tour operator, I know how hard it is to produce these, but with a team of folks working with you - it's effortless!

VoiceMap made the experience of creating a tour easy.

At every part of the process their team were there to guide me through, making sure that I was making the right decisions and responded in a supportive and timely manner. At times writing a two-hour tour of a city centre can seem gruelling, but once the actual text was written, my assigned VoiceMap editor helped make it work as a tour, suggesting tighter word counts, stop commands when needed, and backdoor tricks like layering destinations so that future stops won't trigger prematurely when backing out of a dead end.

Once I got to the voiceover stage, things were similarly frictionless. Supposedly being an audio editor myself I had already stitched together my various takes to form the base track, their audio editor finished the recording with tasteful and appropriate background tracks. Listening back something had gone wrong with one of the tracks, some audio having been cut prematurely, but upon emailing this was fixed within the hour.

Overall I would highly recommend creating your audio walking tours with VoiceMap.

Fantastic experience working on my latest Voicemap audio tour. Stephan Delport is a brilliant editor who takes enormous care to get the timing and text absolutely right. And Olivia Smith added the creative audio touches to turn a basic tour into a rich listening experience. Honestly, without them, I would be lost.

These are a great idea!

It's almost like walking around, at your own pace, with your own 1:1 guide. You can stop, pause, rewind, fwd as you desire. The app uses your smart phone's GPS and magically guides you with a variety of turn left, turn right here instructions. Lots of info, photos and a route map.

We've done the Cadiz and Jerez tours. Looking forward to Bruges in November.

Well worth the money!

Love it! Using already for a year or two when traveling. Took about 10 tours across Europe. Great experience, great föexibility, great quality! A special shoutout to tours in Sweden made by Ausra.

The team really helped me out building the tour and provided usefull guidance and feedback. Stephan did a great job helping me complete the tour and Olivia made the raw sound samples sound really professional. Overall great experience!
