Horrrible,you cant cancel service.They are rude.I will never ger Vivant again.

Another negative review from another extremely dissatisfied costumer. What a total racket. Will not cancel our account until an “outstanding balance” is paid however we have never used their service once (it came free for 3 years with our solar company). We are refusing to pay because we won’t give this untrustworthy POS company our credit card number - go figure - so now they wont cancel our “plan” until we pay. Extortion. Run, don’t walk, away from this terrible company.

Vivant.com Home security…..Literally the worst company ever!!!!! our security and cameras have been malfunctioning every time it rains. It’s like there’s a short in the system. I call their customer support and you get somebody from a Third World country that you can barely understand and then they want to charge me to send somebody out to try to fix it when the equipment is less than six months old! Absolutely ridiculous ,….. run from this company!

They never shipped my package and lied. They're saying they shipped it and it magically made it to my house all in one day. Lmao. I want a refund.

I gave it 2 stars because at one time they were OK.
I paid them $45 on June 27,2025 for one months service that never was available. They were reluctant to talk and just didn't bother calling g me. I paid for my equipment ($150.00 approx) on time. As soon as it was paid off my monthly fee was doubled. I cancelled the service about four years ago. I called to re-activate and explained everything clearly. I only need a new battery. They kept putting me off saying they were looking for a technician to come here. Finally, on my third call they said they do not operate in NY a more. They are based in Utah.
On my last call to them( one week ago) they said they would credit my payment back to my bank. They claim it could take one month.
I hope somebody can get through to them. They were a nuisance with their texts and people on phone who seemed to have a poor command of English.
If you see or hear their ads just stay clear of them.

Horrible. I literally have ADP, and a sign outside my door stating so. The kid banged on my door for over a minute 3 times a day for 2 days. When I told him I wasn’t interested he continued to get pushy. I believe I told him no 3 times before I told him to get off my property and take me off his list. He told me because I didn’t answer my door that he would continually knock until someone answered. Said it was my fault for not answering.

The saga continues:
A week later-I got a call from Vivant. I never provided them my number. When I asked how they got it they said I spoke to a representative. When I told them I didn’t they said they would take me off their list. When I said why was my information put on a list when I never provided it, and asked for a manager, they told me that there was no management in their company. When I clarified “there’s no one that manages your company?” They told me yes and hung up on me.

I called back and asked for a manager and was told “they don’t have any managers”.

She told me “I am the highest level you can talk to.”

So after I told the rep to get off my property after he banged on my door for 2 days, he looked up my information and had them try to sell me their security services via phone rep.

This company is absolutely ridiculous. I would STAY CLEAR of any company that uses these tactics.

Came to the door. Kept knocking when we didn't answer, and then asked some creepy questions about what my husband drove. I locked the door afterwards. I would have happily taken a business card, but I don't care to have a verbal colonoscopy on my porch.

Paid my equipment off which was over $4000. Had the equipment and paid the service for about 2 years. When I sold my house the buyer said they wanted the equipment and said they would take over the account but I guess changed their minds at some point. Could not get the equipment back and vivant still was charging monthly fee and told me is I wanted to cancel I had to pay another $2000 to get out of the contract. Even with equipment paid off I cannot afford to give them more for a service that I wasn’t using. They offered no other solution. To me this is greedy. Equipment is not worth it and you will have constant issues.

I would give -1 if I could. Worst company ever. Equipment fails constantly, customer service is horrible.
Don’t sign a contract their thieves. We ended up getting another security company (alert 360) and their camera’s work flawless!!

I’m extremely disappointed with Vivint’s service, which has been a nightmare. Despite having a contract until 2026, Vivint has consistently failed to provide the functioning security system I was promised. My cameras and other equipment have been essentially useless for the past six months. I contacted support multiple times, endured numerous visits from their technicians, and even had equipment replaced, but nothing has resolved the issues.

When I tried to escalate to higher-level support and management, my calls were disconnected repeatedly, with no effort to address my concerns. It’s appalling to see a company with such a lack of accountability and care for its customers. In my experience, Vivint takes your money but fails to deliver the basic service they guarantee. I would caution anyone considering their services to save yourself the frustration and choose a company that values integrity and customer satisfaction. Vivint has been a massive disappointment and feels like a scam that keeps you locked in a useless contract.

Beware of using Vivant .
I used them in 2022 . I did write and call them to cancel my contract when I moved from South Jordan to American Fork . I used their security monitoring .
They still claim I owe them money from a long time ago . I believe they are dishonest .

I tried to buy a vape from their page and they charge me three times and it never appear as I have made a purchase. I’ve tried to write them and call them, but I think it’s a scam. Never buy anything from them.

feb 2022 installed and never worked properly from day one. Install was done on the same day as purchase conning me because I was grieving over lose of spouse. Installation was 11 pm till 2 am. Cameras dont work properly and told its the lighting outside. Installer put boxes in my closet and almost started a fire running the wires across my clothes. God forbid a spark my home would have been gone. I had service calls more then you expect and it always the same you dont know how to use the system. I an highly educated retired admin military I can read. The are suppose to be monitoring the system and state they are but impossible system has not worked properly and cameras dont pick up anything at night. The cameras are showing its daytime at 11 pm nightime. They answer call and tell you to reboot system every month. I had ADT and never once rebooted system. Problem they came next day. Problem with vivant they charge you service call even though it the same problem every time. I cant wait till sysem is paid in full to rip it out and send to them all busted up with a nice letter. 02/20/2022 to present

Horrible never use them I ordered 1 thing for 1 of my bongs and I’m still waiting it’s been 2 and a half weeks wen it said no longer then 2-4 business days don’t use this site…

DO NOT GET THIS SYSTEM IF YOU HAVE PETS. On 2/21/24 a tech came to our house to fix a camera that was not working. The company’s policy is that a tech can not enter a house if there arre dogs running around we a 10+ old golden retriever and a golden doodle ( fearsome, fearsome creatures HA) the only place to put the dogs is the room the the tech needs to go. The camera did not get fixed and the company is totally inflexible on their rules. The system was installed with the dogs loose to begin with. My wife and I are elderly and handicapped and are physically unable to do it ourselves. Shame on you Vivant.

Product was received defective. Call center would not transfer me to an agent unless I purchased a voucher. Ridiculous. Lodging a credit card dispute.

The person who came to install our system was a shyster they will try to sell you products u don’t need DoNot Buy them n if they say the sensors u have are no good n u need new ones they are liars they a device u can plug into to make sensors compatible with what u have then
When he is explaining system if the bill is not the same as what you n your salesperson discussed DO NOT SIGN IT UNTIL HE HAS CHANGED IT TO THE CORRECT AMOUNT they use their phone for u to sign electronically make him change to the correct amount I REPEAT DONOT SIGN UNTIL HE HAS CORRECTED THE AMOUNT HES A LIAR IF HE SAYS HE CANT IF HE WONT TELL HIM TO GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSE OR CALL THE POLICE BUT PLEASE DONT SIGN YOU GET A BILL FOR $1000’s of dollars for crap you have no idea for

Worst system ever, alarms equipment breaking, no solutions to problems other than replace parts at your cost, $99 send rep out figure out problem, now stuck 5 yr contact. Horrible system, live bad n

Sales person came to my door twice, knocked, rang the bell. Second time he also yelled through the door. He can see right on my front door I have a security system plus there's a sign in my front yard he walked right past.
