Vinyasa Yogashala has so many experiences to offer to someone who may or may not be a regular practitioner of Yoga, I myself had super nice experiences in my 200 hr ytt. Also if you meet a man named Jitendra aka Jeet, you're in for a happy yogic treat :D

Embarking on a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course is a profound and transformative journey, and my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I enrolled in the online program that was led by seasoned instructors and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The curriculum was meticulously designed, covering a diverse range of topics that went beyond the physical practice of asanas. From anatomy and philosophy to teaching methodology and ethics, each module was thoughtfully crafted to provide a holistic understanding of yoga. The curriculum, instructors, community, and resources collectively contributed to an enriching experience that not only deepened my understanding of yoga but also equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to guide others on their yoga journey.

I wanted to express my profound gratitude for the incredible experience I had during my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Vinyasa Yoga Shala. The journey was nothing short of transformative, thanks to the guidance and expertise of the dedicated instructors who each played a pivotal role in shaping my yoga practice.

Jeet Ji - Vinyasa:
Jeet Ji's approach to Vinyasa yoga is both inspiring and refreshing. His ability to seamlessly guide us through dynamic sequences while emphasizing breath awareness not only challenged me physically but also deepened my connection to the practice. Also, He is great at managing the whole Kaivalya hall students with good hospitality. We have learned the hospitality from him as a complementary from Vinyasa yoga shala.

Ashish - Alignment:
Ashish's attention to alignment was instrumental in refining my postures. His keen eye and patient corrections allowed me to understand the nuances of each pose, ensuring a safe and effective practice.

Manisha Mam - Mantra Chanting:
Manisha Mam's devotion to mantra chanting created a sacred and meditative atmosphere. Her soothing voice and insightful teachings helped me tap into the spiritual aspects of yoga, fostering a sense of inner peace.

Acharya Ji - Meditation:
Acharya Ji's guidance in meditation opened new dimensions of self-discovery. His teachings on mindfulness and concentration have left a lasting impact, providing me with valuable tools for cultivating a calm and centered mind.

Deepak Ji - Ashtanga Yoga:
Deepak Ji's expertise in Ashtanga Yoga pushed my boundaries and helped me explore the depths of my physical and mental strength. His disciplined approach and encouragement empowered me to embrace the challenging aspects of the practice.

Prateek Ji - Ayurveda:
Prateek Ji's insights into Ayurveda provided a holistic understanding of health and well-being. Learning about the principles of Ayurveda enhanced my lifestyle choices and complemented my yoga practice.

Sushant Ji:
Sushant Ji's teachings added a unique dimension to my practice, and his wisdom resonated with me throughout the training. I am grateful for the valuable lessons and perspectives he shared. The Yoga Philosophy - Everyone will think that it is a very boring subject but a way of building curiosity within the students which is to be profounded only by the experienced teacher. He is one among themselves and feels proud to be a part of his teachings.

Pranayama Mam:
Pranayama Mam's guidance in breathwork was transformative. Her expertise in pranayama techniques deepened my awareness of breath and its profound impact on both the physical and subtle aspects of my being.

Shivam - Anatomy:
Shivam's in-depth knowledge of anatomy made the subject not only informative but also engaging. His ability to simplify complex concepts ensured I could integrate anatomical understanding into my teaching and personal practice.

In conclusion, my heartfelt thanks to each instructor for their unwavering commitment, passion, and expertise. The 200-hour yoga teacher training at Vinyasa Yoga Shala has been a life-changing experience, and I am leaving with a strong foundation and a deep appreciation for the art and science of yoga.

Vinyasa Yogashala has incredibly knowledgeable and passionate teachers who were committed to my learning experience. I was grateful to have learnt from the following teachers: Deepak (Ashtanga), Deepak (Pranayama), Shivam (Anatomy), Jeet (Mantra & Vinyasa), Saddhuji (Philosophy), Aman (Hatha & Alignment), & Mahish (Meditation). Each of the teachers were humble and informative, imparting with us the authentic Indigenous principles of Yoga.

I want to thank the kitchen for accommodating my dietary requirements for coeliac disease. Despite a few miscommunications at the beginning, Rohul Ji (School Manager) was very responsive to the situation and helped to communicate dishes that were safe for me to eat.

I booked this course through Book Yoga Teacher Training, which described the course as including Yin Yoga teaching training. Unfortunately, we did not have the capacity to cover this in the course but this was not communicated to students. Additionally, the website states that students have access to an ayurvedic full body massage and emotional trauma healing session, however, you will only have the option to select one of these complementary.

Something to be mindful of is that there are four Vinyasa Yogashala schools located in Rishikesh, so your accommodation may not be the same as those seen in pictures. However, the Nirvana Hall location still had good amenities.

I would recommend that the school reviews and amends the information they have provided on this website and their own, as there are some inconsistencies with what is stated is included in the course and what actually is.

Despite this, the overall experience during my time was above and beyond what I expected. The standard of knowledge and support provided by teachers was incredibly valuable in helping me start my journey through learning more about Yoga.

Really good experience of completing online TTT with Vinyasa Yogashala.

All the trainers have great knowledge and the information is passed onto the trainees quite well.

I completed the 200 TTC in November, 2023. It was my first contact with India and the team at Vinyasa Yogashala made my adaptation smooth. From finding solutions to every inquiry, to nice experiences beyond the courses, to great fresh food and a very nice building we lived in for a month. Not to forget our amazing teachers! Will always be grateful for Acharya, Shivam, Mahesh and Manoj, just to mention a few. Although some of the classes seem difficult in the beginning, everybody works for your development and I think that is amazing. And my sincere compliments to Jeet Ji, just for being himself. A very nice community indeed!

I am now 96% finishing my course. As I have myself had to turn my classes (i teach other physical practice) into online in the last few years, I have interested to experience this course.
Of course organizing schedule for this amount of online classes, is a challenge with your honesty and focus. But as soon as I get used to, I felt so lucky find this course with their/my teachers. I love my teachers, they explain yoga from both eastern and western perspective, I've been learning a lot.
Every Sunday there are online Zoom meeting, sometime the connection in India isn't good, but doesn't matter, when you hear the birds singing behind your master while his meditation session, you'll love it.

Taking Vinyasa Yogashala's online teacher training course was a decision I took to juggle my love for yoga and my work responsibilities. Ashish's Hatha yoga classes taught me how to do Chaturanga the right way and to build strength and gratitude for the body, Jayakumaran's classes on Alignment helped me understand my body and the help it needs, and the anatomy classes helped me appreciate my spine and respiratory system. The classes on philosophy and pranayama taught humility indirectly. The course was a decision to start a new path, and I'm incredibly grateful to it for adding more to my life (including the daily discipline) than what I had initially thought of.

To do this course has changed my life. The knowledge and expertise of the teaching is beyond what i ever would have expected. A different teacher for each topic. Experts on their subject.
But this is Rishikesh the home of yoga so of course these are going to be world leaders in teaching yoga.

I had the most amazing year learning, practicing, and getting better at yoga.
It is a serious school, and the system and online course work very well for busy people who want to learn more about Yoga.

I’ve had a fabolous experience of learning with Vinyasa Yogashala. The online Yoga Teacher Training 200 hours is a very high quality program to learn about philosophy, anatomy, asanas, pranayama and more. The teachers have incredible knowledge and the way they share it with students is very accessible and pleasant.

It was a really good choice and I will do more courses with Vinyasa Yogashala in the Future.

I love how they had been so kind, devoted, supportive & keeping focus on every student and clarifying our endless doubts/queries :D

I have so far covered pretty much knowledge of Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, yin yoga styles(including variations & advance poses) along with Yoga philosophy, anatomy, therapy, ayurveda and mantras as part of the curriculum. 📖🧘‍♀️

I absolutely loved their course and glad it was a part of my journey. All the classes and assignments are online and you have some homework throughout. You can go at your own speed so finish it all quickly or spread it out over weeks/months. Whatever fits your schedule! Mine got unexpectedly hectic which made me very grateful for that!

I recently completed my 100hr YTTC and must say I wish I could have completed the 200hr course! The course went over and beyond my expectations. Everyone at Vinyasa Yogashala was super helpful, kind, and inspiring; the manager of our yoga hall, Deepak, made us feel at home from day 1 and together with the rest of the staff made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. All of the teachers were truly inspiring and I am grateful for all the knoweldge they shared and support they gave me on this yoga journey, that included much more than just yoga. I really enjoyed all of the classes, from anatomy to philiosophy, all the way to mantra chanting, every module was incredibly thought-provoking, including the additional avurveda, body movement and sound bowls & reiki session. The sunrise trip was memorable, and I am grateful of having shared this experience with beautiful, like-minded people. I hope to have the opportunity to come back!
