There is always a vet ready to promptly reply to any query, and when I had a recent scare where none of the emergency vets near me were picking up the phone, I was in contact with a reassuring Vidivet within a couple of minutes.

having a sick dog on the Saturday over the Mayday weekend the advice was prompt and professional and eased our worries until we could visit our vet on the Tuesday after May day. we followed the advice and by the Tuesday she was well enough to just visit our vet to collect a recommended prescription

Today as l am a member of the PDSA l had to call with as one of my little doggies was in pain and distress..firstly l have to day if you are dealing with the terrible worry of a cherished pet who is in distress the debacle of actually using this app is appalling and difficult, you then do not have a video call with a vet but advice which is sent as a video from a vet who seems like an unemotional uncaring individual who does not interact with anything except an undisclosed criteria and who knows what that is. so you have to send a video of your pet walking back and forth apparently in a garden who asked if you even had one and then wait for them to tell you what to do..maybe if your pet falls into an invisible criteria of goodness knows what but l would guess total near death or unconsciousness then you can be seen by an emergency vet..outside of that zero advice about medication which l had been given and was already prescribed or a painkiller l was instead because they cannot discuss pain relief told to put my pet near an open window and l could check in with them in 2 hours? Is this actually for real..l have never met with such derelict advice or lack of care. What has it amounted to here in the Uk as a nation of pet lovers. Our pets are our loved and cherished family members..they are everything that is important to us, and yet we have Vetinary fees that are madly high and unaffordable and the PDSA who are marvellous but yet they endorse this as a realistic option during an emergency for a loved soul who is our world?! I understand how to use an app and l was foiled, how would a vulnerable person who doesn’t know how to navigate their way around this utterly appalling app hope to understand.
Please can we really do something about this and can the PDSA affiliate with an app that is quicker and user friendly and employing vet’s with a heart, the 2 vets today were unconcerned and offered no advice and spoke so quickly l could hardly understand what they did say, which was, as it goes wasn’t much. Appalling app appalling lack of help from uncaring vets
I have used vidi vet in the past and had nothing but positive experiences. However our dog is currently part way through his 6 week crate rest from spinal surgery.
He became a little ill last night and I wasn't sure if he needed veterinary attention.
I sent some messages over to vidi vet along with some videos as I was becoming more distressed than he was.
The vets assured me that he was safe to be monitored overnight and gave me signs to look out for that would need urgent care.
Our little guy has been sound asleep all night and is still snoring now.
Where it not for vidivet I likely would have sought urgent out of hours care which would have cost me a lot!
Very grateful for the service and have only ever received really good care!
I spoke to you yesterday morning, concerned for my dog’s welfare and life. You advised you had no concerns because my dog walked a little. I sent numerous videos and told you I was extremely worried. You told me to take her to a private vet as you only see dogs that are extremely ill. I spoke to an another vet yesterday who advised she needed to be admitted, after sharing the same information I shared with you.
Luckily my dog made it through the night, I couldn’t as afford private veterinary treatment. Today I took her to the PDSA and the very competent vet diagnosed without examination Pyometra, a life threatening condition, and that my dog’s case is very severe and was admitted immediately.
Every dog owner knows their animal, as they would a child my dog was in trouble and my please for help fell on deaf ears.
Thank Goodness she didn’t die yesterday and let’s hope she makes it through her op today. Thanks for nothing

I have a new puppy, and get Vidivet through my vet practice. What a brilliant service! I have used it for the 1st time today due to the pup being a little too inquisitive around a family members pond. I got a video response from Dr James in less then 5mins and completely eased my worries.
Every pet owner should get it!
By chance, I recently noticed that I could sign up to Vidivet for free, through my monthly Vet Box subscription.
I've used it this evening for the first time for advice about my doggy. The vet replied in about 5 minutes by video, and provided such great, thorough advice and reassurance.
I am really happy with this service. I would probably pay the monthly subscription for it if I didn't get it as part of my VetBox subscription.
Amazing service. I’ve used a number of times to check before deciding whether to take my dog to the vet. They reply so quickly and thoroughly. It’s saved me a fortune in vet bills and provided so much reassurance.
Great, super fast and really in-depth information. Dr Veronika got back to me in 5 minutes with a very detailed video putting my mind at rest and letting me know exactly what to do. Felt very assured.
Once you sign up you can’t cancel. They don’t respond, shocking customer service. 3 emails sent and still no response and it’s the only way to cancel. Avoid.

I used it for the first time today in relation to new kittens. I had seen conflicting information as to whether they should be fed twice or three times a day at their young age. I sent a message through the app, and within five minutes, I had received a video recorded message from Dr Ashleen. Absolutely wonderful explanation - not only did she answer the question, but explained the rationale behind it, also noted the cats breed and the preference for a raw diet, and also gave some food tips around the safe handling of their food. Clearly went above and beyond, and it was so nice to receive it the answer in video form rather than an anonymous text response! Although for obvious reasons I hope to not need the service, I'm extremely comforted knowing there is a team of great vets to respond within minutes to any question or concern, regardless of how small it might be.
