When the tow company initially assigned could not pick up in a reasonable time, they staff worked quickly to find another service. That company contacted me, picked up vehicle and the driver epitomized professionalism beyond my expectations.

I gave this rating due to...It was easy…
I gave this rating due to...It was easy to donate and the flat bed driver was very quick and provided information regarding questions asked. The one thing that was not disclosed, which would have been beneficial, possibly changing who we donated to, was that, they did not inform us that if the title was out of state they could not au tion off said vehicle, nor did they state that they auction the vehicles off period. We were under the impression that these donations were actually given to veterans in need of a trustworthy vehicle for daily use.
My father was a USAF F4 fighter pilot, Col., who was shot down in VietNam (KIA), with that veterans in need are close to our hearts. The money doesn't go directly to the veterans, which is sold of for parts but a reliable vehicle would.

A USAF F4 fighter pilot and Colonel who gave his life in Vietnam, his sacrifice, and your family's sacrifice, is something we hold with the greatest respect. It means everything to us that veterans and their families are at the heart of why you chose to donate, and we want to make sure you feel fully informed about how that donation makes a difference.
We hear your concern about transparency, and we take that feedback seriously. We are always looking to improve how we communicate our process to donors.
To provide some context: it is actually extremely rare for nonprofit vehicle donation programs to give donated vehicles directly to individuals today. This is largely due to liability considerations that would put both the organization and the recipient at risk. Instead, the proceeds from the sale of donated vehicles at auction go directly toward funding the programs and services that support veterans and their families, whether that is financial assistance, mental health resources, housing support, or other vital services. In many ways, the reach of one donated vehicle through auction proceeds can help far more veterans than a single vehicle transfer ever could.

The tow truck came on the selected day…yes
The tow truck came on the selected day but a bit earlier than expected. I was notified at 6:07 a.m. not the time expected but it was fine.
They helped to take the rear plate of the vehicle and attached the vehicle to pull it. There was a van on top of the truck.
