Excellent service from John but we were let down by an “administrative error” leaving us significantly out of pocket. We were advised that the tax was included in the final price but then we were charged for it at the very last minute - after signing the contract. Left a bitter taste after what had been exceptional customer service from John.

Picked up my Father's new car this Morning. From the moment we walked in to the time we left.We were made to feel so welcome . Top class service. Customer relations skill are brilliant.

Brought a car from from these con artists it was delivered had not been valeted had dent's and the foot brake dragging when applied took it to garage locally and was told the brake pads were new and needed time to bed in 500 to 1000 miles after around 3000 miles still dragging when I called they said the manager would call me back this happened twice no call back put in complaint on line then got a call they arranged another garage to look at it the garage ask me to take them on a test drive and one of there technicians said it was the brake discs and booked it in then another technician took it for a test drive and said he could not hear the noise but then sent me a video saying he recommends new disc's but vertu refused to pay for them

I had owned and driven Honda vehicles in the past but the last was quite a few years ago. In August 2024 I began looking for a used vehicle, at least that’s what I thought. I wanted an SUV and considered 3 or 4 brands. Vertu Honda in Newcastle was the third dealership that I visited, with my wife, after looking at two other brands. That is where I met the Sales Executive, Mark Spring, who was very pleasant to get along with, and made us feel at so much ease. I like to make sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed before I commit to anything. Mark diplomatically persuaded me that getting a brand-new vehicle wasn’t going to cost much more than getting a low mileage used car or demonstrator due to the seasonal benefits on offer. I was under no pressure, despite the time in question being in the middle of one of the busiest periods of the year (end of August / start of September). I felt that Mark was a really good operator and someone I could put my trust in. After reviewing the offer, price and availability were not a problem, I decided to go ahead and took delivery of a new Honda CR-V 2.0 eHEV Elegance AWD on 12.09.2024, which has the self-charging Petrol Hybrid configuration (not plug-in EV). The whole process was simple, and seamless, and one that I found to be very straightforward. I wanted to write a review but thought that it ought to be after I had used the car for a while, and get at least 1,000 miles under my belt. So, that time has now passed. My overall experience has been very good and without any complaints. My main observations are, Driver and passenger seating – very high levels of comfort enjoyed; Driving experience – very smooth and effortless, the auto selected EV mode took a little getting used to, but I soon got familiar; Fuel economy – as good as expected; Reverse Parking Camera – clear and effective; Safety Features – well thought out, sensors and warning indicators work as they should; Central Locking/Key Fob – Keyless entry very impressive and you can even open the car windows from the key fob; Dashboard & Navigator Screens – there is a lot going on within the dashboard, and A/V head unit, mobile phone connectivity is easy, and there is lots of information from the touch screen, and cockpit / dash output. The navigator is easy to use, and other vehicles on the road appear as icons on the dash when you use the cruise control and are overtaking or being overtaken; Sun Roof – I haven’t really tried this out just yet due to the time of year; Other features – USB/c connection points are provided but I particularly like the wireless charging pad which I use every time I get in the car. It's just like a practical shelf space to safely store the phone, but it’s being charged at the same time. All in all, I am really pleased with my purchase, which was made following a fairly rigorous evaluation process. The 5 year warranty and included service plan was a key factor in my decision. If I was to separate the two main aspects of my review between a. the supplier and b. the vehicle, I would give 5 out of 5 for both. This is because the vibe that I found from Vertu Honda, particularly Mark Spring, from the outset was a fine blend of professionalism, courtesy & caring attitude, patience, and empathy, and that didn’t alter at any stage in the buying process. As far as the vehicle is concerned I have been extremely happy with it, and it has continued to meet with my expectations for comfort, safety and enjoyment. The main reason why I have waited a couple of months to submit this review was so that I could add more context based upon my on road experience, which has involved a good mix of both suburban and motorway journeys. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mark and the team at Vertu Honda to anyone considering them as a supplier.

Vertu Honda Newcastle have been great to deal with. Neil and Trudy are superb communications wise. Everyone knows it costs you more to use a main dealer, but…….it’s worth it if the service is excellent - which it was.

After visiting a few garages, I started to lose my faith in car salesmen. As a single woman, it's not easy to purchase a car and not feel intimidated. I then visited Vertu Newcastle and was greeted by Chris Stuart and immediately felt at ease. Chris was the reason I bought my car from this garage. He was friendly, professional and treated me with respect. He is an asset to the team at Vertu. Highly recommend.

Friendly and professional team from start to finish- particularly Mark who greeted us at the door and was friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped in the door. And still followed up even after the sale was done. I’ve never considered buying a Honda before (I just spotted the new CRV from the road and liked the look of it!) and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for a while!

Didnt do what they say they had done on a major service very dishonest would never take car back there again when i asked why they hadnt done this perticular job all the service manager said well they should have no apology from them lost all faith in them

The initial sales process and first impressions were good at Honda Newcastle however after a couple of months and having only done a few hundred miles we realised the Honda HR-V did not suit our needs due to being woefully underpowered, no problem I thought we will be able to trade it back to them and under the circumstances get close to what we paid. Wrong wanted us to take a 2.5K hit we were treated no different to any other walk in off the street it was if we had never bought the vehicle from them only a few weeks ago. Spoke or emailed every manager at the branch and got nowhere pleasant words no action!

I recently purchased a Honda Jazz Hybrid from the Newcastle branch of Vertu Honda.
I cannot praise the staff there highly enough. Chris Stewart made me feel valued and important, he explained everything clearly and did not patronised me as I have had experience of in the past from other dealers. His manager Adam is also friendly and likes.toeet the customers his staff are dealing with. The showroom is always exceptionally clean and the coffee machine is always turned on.
All in all a great experience.

Chris Stuart and the team at Vertu Honda Newcastle are absolutely first class. I’m 55 year old bloke from Jarrow and I have bought many cars from dealers some ok, some really not! I can’t praise Chris enough and his attitude to making sure you have the best experience in purchasing your new pride and joy, clearly comes from the fact he is genuinely a caring and lovely person.

Very pleased with my car. I did have an issue with only having one key to the vehicle but this problem has now been resolved, the key they posted to me was faulty as it is their policy to have a spare key with all vehicles Vertu motors have agreed to pay for the cost of a new key. Many thanks to the Manager who got straight on the case.
