A brilliant experience, especially for our 5 year old and 4 month old little girls! Dan & Cam at the Cheltenham studio were great and the images were all incredible! Liv who showed us our gallery was so helpful and lovely to finish off our shoot with Venture!

Great experience, highly recommend

I was delighted to be a runner up for Pepper my pooch. We had no outfits, toys or balls as Pepper is very plain and just loves company. 12 September -Steph was truly amazing doing the shot in her manner, enthusiasm and different options to gain great shots. I booked to come back for the view of the photos and to say shocked as they were fabulous! I could not really justify £945 for the digital copies of the shoot. Tim tried different options and I put £190 down for a solution. A call back the next day happened, although no outcome and would be called later in the week. Its roughly 6 weeks and I have emailed plus called in this time. The phone if not answered at Birmingham is answered by another branch 1. Told Tim was doing a viewing and would leave a message to call me ( I realised the gentleman never took my name) 2. Called and Meg was the professional who heard and listened and would speak to her manager and a call back. Yes the manager did call, although I could not answer as at hospital. I am now fustrated and angry, as I felt time was ticking by and would I be treated this way if I paid the £945 package or another package as its a business?! I sent my final email asking for return of £190 plus £25 deposit and my 7x5 photo. Tim replied by email 16 October apologising of the delay and offer of 10 digital pics for £190. I accepted this and that was last Sunday. I had high hopes of the 10 digital pics this week 19th October, but a big fat zero. The amazing shoot has left a bad tasfe in my mouth and will always be the memory I have, which is very very sad. I have gone through the normal channels, being patient to get a suitable outcome as the digitals are of no value to Venture photography. Maybe this may help to resolve my query...one can only have hope!

It was a really fun experience getting to do a family shoot with our son. Such a wonderful way to capture memories.

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for Ellie and the wonderful experience she gave us during our cinema experience appointment.
From the moment we arrived, Ellie was absolutely lovely.
She made us feel so welcome, comfortable & looked after us throughout the whole experience. She went above and beyond to help us with everything making sure we understood each step and that everything ran smoothly.
Her kindness, patience & willingness to help truly made a difference to our visit.
It is not often that you come across someone who genuinely puts so much care & effort into making sure customers have the best possible experience.
Ellie did exactly that she was attentive, professional, friendly & incredibly helpful.
It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our appointment special.
What could have simply been an ordinary appointment turned into a lovely & memorable experience because of the way Ellie treated us.
Sometimes it is the little things a warm smile a reassuring word & someone taking the time to help without hesitation that leave the biggest impression.
Ellie demonstrated all of these qualities & more.
I truly believe that people like Ellie deserve to be recognised & appreciated for the effort they put into their work.
She is a real credit to Venture Studios Eton, & I hope her hard work, kindness & dedication are acknowledged by the management team.

We won a competition and received a phone call to arrange our booking. I explained that I would have a look at the available options and book online. However, when I was told that the photoshoots for this competition were only available on weekdays, I made it clear that this wasn’t suitable for me.

Despite this, I continue to receive phone calls from them every couple of days. I have already explained that the weekday availability doesn’t work for me, so I’m disappointed and frustrated that the calls keep coming.

Winning a competition should be an enjoyable experience, not one that results in repeated unwanted contact - 8 phone calls and 9 text messages since 5th September to be precise. At what point does persistent contact like this become harassment? I would appreciate it if they respected my (forced) decision and stopped contacting me.

We had such an amazing experience with Venture Studios, from our bump photoshoot to our newborn photoshoot. The whole journey has been truly special, and we couldn’t be happier with the memories we’ve created.

A huge thank you to Dom, our photographer, who made us feel so comfortable and captured such beautiful, precious moments. Natt, the assistant, was also fantastic and helped make the experience smooth, relaxed and enjoyable. A special mention to Kelly and Issy as well, who were both incredibly helpful and lovely throughout the process.

One of the most emotional highlights was our viewing appointment, where we watched the beautiful movie of our bump to newborn photoshoot. It was such a heartwarming and tear-jerking moment, bringing all those precious memories to life in a way we will never forget. It truly reminded us how quickly these special moments pass and how valuable it is to capture them.

We also really appreciated the practical advice and thoughtful suggestions when choosing our favourite photographs, frames and layouts. The team took the time to understand what we liked and helped us make decisions that would look beautiful in our home. The flexible payment options were another huge plus, making it easier to invest in these lasting memories without feeling pressured.

From start to finish, the team were professional, friendly, patient and genuinely caring. We never felt rushed, and it was clear that they wanted us to have the best possible experience and take home something truly special.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Venture Studios to anyone expecting a baby or looking to capture those precious early family moments. These photographs are more than just pictures; they are memories we will treasure for a lifetime.

We had a bump to baby photoshoot in South Woodford with Emma. I couldn’t recommend her or venture studios enough. She made sure we were all comfortable and happy with the session. Allowed us time to soothe our baby with no pressure, while still ensuring we got the shots we wanted within the time frame. The photos came out even better than we expected. Can’t wait to show them off to friends and family! Thankyou again for capturing our pregnancy journey

Kelly and Izzy both did an amazing job. Kelly took the photos of us and our little boy and the experience was so smooth running and made our little boy the star of the show. Izzy showed us Kelly's work today and all I can say is wow. She caught every bit of his personality in each photo and the photos with the three of us amazed me. I'm not very photogenic but she managed to catch brilliant photos. I'm greatful for everything done and look forward to picking up my photos

After winning a competition for a photoshoot we had a pet photography shoot at Venture in Ratby.
The communication from the team has faultless from start to finish, they made us feel confident and excited about attending (we’re both not keen on photos!) but they listened to all of our concerns and ideas and made it all happen! Our puppy Merlin was the star of the show and all the team made a big fuss of him which is absolutely loved.
Lois understood our vision for some quirky shots for our gallery wall and perfectly mixed with some family shots too! We were over the moon seeing all the photos together in the video and Evelyn talked us through all our options and set ups. All the photos were amazing it was so hard to choose which ones to have framed but Evelyn gave us lots of honest help and advice chatting through what would go well in our home. We also felt the turn around between the shoot and seeing the final edits was incredibly quick!
We are so excited to collect our finished products! Thank you to all the team and venture ratby, such a great vibe in there and we just know Merlin would happily visit every day to model and get fussed! 💕🤣

Won a competition.
I came second in a competition, yet came out of it with a hour photo session, several amazing pictures of me, my fiance and our dog Lassy. I weren't sure what to expect and we were made to feel at ease straight away. When we got to viewing the photos the week after, it was a joy to watch to see Lassy's personality expressed the way it was done.

Steph was an absolute boss. We went for our baby girl’s first birthday photos and she was so taken by Steph. She knew exactly how to manage her and was guided entirely by our girl’s mood and took an overall really relaxed approach. The photos she produced were stunning. Would recommend Steph time and time again.

Me my partner nathan and our dog Scooby had won a photo shoot. When we arrived we were greeted with friendly smiles and absolutely amazing people. Hannah was our photographer and she made the experience for us just out this world she treated Scooby as if he were her own. And the results were absolutely incredible. No words can describe the beautiful pictures that were taken. All staff there were amazing and scooby loved them all too. They brought out the playful dog that he is with his big personality ❤️ I cant thank everyone at venture studios enough for everything they did from start to finish everyone was just soo wonderful. I would highly recommend venture studios Birmingham to everyone and anyone, from capturing what you want to even going above and beyond to get incredible pictures.. thank you all again Scooby definitely made some friends 🧡

We recently “won” a “free” voucher through a Facebook advert for a photography experience at Venture Photography Stockport. It covered the studio session and included a print, and we paid a £25 deposit to secure the booking.

Before the shoot I completed a detailed online form explaining exactly what we wanted. We were very relaxed about it and simply wanted authentic family photographs. Despite this, I received another call asking what we wanted from the shoot. As a busy business owner, I explained I’d already provided all of this on the form, to which I was told it was mainly to check we were still coming.

The shoot itself was absolutely fine. Our photographer, Ben, was great and our daughter really enjoyed herself. I have no complaints about him or the actual studio experience.

Unfortunately, it was what came afterwards that completely changed my opinion.

We returned for our viewing appointment and were sat on a sofa in a darkened room to watch an emotional compilation of our family photographs. Luckily, we’d done our research beforehand and read other reviews, so we already had an idea of what was coming next: the sales process and, in my opinion, extremely high prices.

I think this could be incredibly overwhelming if you attend without knowing what the products and packages cost. This is my biggest issue with the whole experience: the lack of upfront transparency around pricing.

My heart genuinely goes out to new parents who “win” or receive one of these “free” vouchers thinking they’ve received a lovely complimentary family experience, only to become emotionally attached to photographs of their new baby/family and then discover what it will cost to actually take those photographs home. Some of the options presented to us ran into hundreds or thousands of pounds.

In the end, we purchased a USB containing around 30–50 LOW-RESOLUTION digital images — suitable for social media, but not supplied at a resolution intended for quality printing.

The cost? £575.

Our “free” voucher/print value and £25 deposit were put towards that.

Would I do it again? Absolutely not.

And importantly, that isn’t because the photographer wasn’t good. Ben was lovely, our daughter had fun and we got some nice family photographs. It’s because I fundamentally dislike the lack of transparency surrounding what customers are likely to spend after their “free” experience.

Why not publish your prices clearly? Why not provide a price list when somebody books?

Let people know BEFORE attending that if they fall in love with their photographs, this is approximately what it will cost to own them. Customers can then make an informed decision about whether Venture fits their budget before investing their time and becoming emotionally attached to the images.

I wouldn’t personally recommend the experience unless you’re comfortable potentially spending £500+ afterwards. If you’re attending because you’ve “won” a free voucher, please research the pricing and read reviews beforehand so you know what to expect.

I’m genuinely relieved the process is now finished. We’ve collected our images and I’ve unsubscribed from the marketing emails, which continued promoting further “free” or low-cost offers.

I’m only leaving such a detailed review because I wish I’d fully understood the model before our studio session. Had I known from the beginning what purchasing the digital photographs would cost, we personally wouldn’t have booked.

Venture clearly has talented photographers, and Ben deserves credit for making the shoot enjoyable. Unfortunately, the pricing and sales model completely overshadowed the experience for me.

Publish the prices upfront. Give customers the information they need to make an informed decision before they walk through the door. Transparency would make this experience feel completely different.

Rhi was fantastic at capturing our newborn son. She was so excited to see we’d brought the same props back after the bump shoot. She was fantastic at suggesting poses and matching the style and colours from our bump shoot so when we were viewing them they looked so great together. Rhi was so gentle and considerate in positioning our baby just right for some great images.
Also want to say Paige who did my wife’s bump shoot and Milton who handled our viewing were also excellent and clearly enjoy what they do to create some fantastic images. Thank you so much for the experience and we cant wait to see our finished pictures.

It was amazing! Jordan captured everything and more! It was relaxed and Jordan was very good with my son! Izzie was amazing too! She talked through everything with us and made sure we was happy with everything!

I was approached after entering the Frenchie competition and I’m so glad we said yes because we had such an amazing experience thanks to Steph from your Birmingham branch, she is a credit to your team. I was very sceptical with how my 5 year old, 2 year old and 2 year old dog would all behave together understandably chaotic but Steph produced us the most amazing photos. She made our children feel comfortable, constantly making them laugh and they have even asked to come back for another photo shoot in the future because they had so much fun!! It’s fair to say that our dog was in a world of his own but Steph had so much patience with him. We had our viewing today and wow, we are amazed. We can’t wait to receive our digital copies and framed images. The whole process has been brilliant, the prices may be expensive for some but you certainly get what you pay for and we have no regrets. Memories to keep for a life time!

Amazing experience had a voucher from buying a car, team was very professional and patient with the 2 dogs and a busy 1 year old. The picture showcase was outstanding along with the finishing photos overall very pleased with the outcome and 100% recommend and go back
