My gasoline heater had some trouble starting when first installed. Raleigh patiently walked me through every possible solution until we found the problem and were able to quickly resolve it. I’m extremely happy I went with a Velit heater!

Raleigh at Velit is the man. I was having issues with my gasoline heater after about two years (probably my fault!), and Raleigh helped me identify/resolve multiple issues with my unit. I had one of the original gasoline models with wiring harness failure after a heavy sooting incident caused by a blockage in my exhaust. Raleigh was able to help me identify the wiring issue over the phone, gave good guidance on cleaning the unit, and provided recommendations on how to prevent this moving forward. I stopped by Velit’s shop in Washington, and Raleigh got me up and running again very quickly (although he would have shipped me the wiring harness and guided me on replacing it remotely). This little heater puts out great dry heat, and runs circles around everything else I’ve tried.

Their after sale service was great. He knew the issues & the answers. Need to create a service ticket on their website & the response will be quick. Emails & phone calls do not get the same attention. Setup was easy & the heater works as intended. Control is simple & straightforward, has Bluetooth & built-in CO alarm/shutoff.

This heater works really well once you get it set up. If you are not super experienced with installing units like this there is definitely going to be some trial and error, but the support hotline is amazing. Usually I don’t call hotlines because they aren’t helpful, but the guys at Velit will bend over backwards to make sure you get your heater running right. I had a strange issue with no firmware and no fuel pulling after a few weeks of disuse. They invited me to come to their office in Washington and Raley and Will spent over an hour going through everything until the heater was working like before. I think the value for money is definitely worth it.

Even though it was back ordered for a couple of months, I am so glad to finally have my Velit gasoline heater. Mine will be installed by Midwest Van Builders, as soon as I can schedule an appointment. Jonnie has installed many of these heaters and has worked with Velit to work through some of these heaters bugs. I feel very confident with both the product and the installer. My only regret is that I’m going through this crazy January Southern deep freeze without my Velit!!! Can’t wait to say “I’m nice and warm with my Velit gasoline heater in my beautiful van!”

Seemingly good product. However, I had a technical question about the installation, reached out to customer service, they referred me to their technical service department. I messaged them, it’s says they will reach out with a response in 2 business days. Never heard a thing. Had to figure it out in my own.

We installed a Velit gas heater in a ProMaster, and the client just loves it. We will be doing one next in a VW Weekender and expect the same results. Great product!

Installation: the instructions are lacking but if you watch the video(s), it's very doable. We used the aux. fuel port on the Transit (which is not recommended) and then tested the unit at various elevations, including at 7,600' in the eastern Sierras, and the heater worked fine. Outside temperatures were down to 32 degrees. I was reminded (the hard way) one night that you cannot run the heater on an almost empty tank. I purchased an exhaust pipe extension so as to make the placement more to my liking. I still need to test the unit at one of my more favorite campsites which is at 10K feet.

Install was easy and everything was going smoothly until a few days in the ECU became unresponsive. However, everything was sorted out after working with their tech support. I ended up needing to ship the ECU and thermostat back to the company for in-house flashing. Thankfully they covered the shipping costs and had the equipment back in working order with a quick turnaround. Shout out to Raleigh who was very response and helpful via email correspondence. The support was personable and turned what could have been a poor experience into a positive direction. Highly recommend.

I have been working with Velit for a few years now and have to say they may have the best customer service I have ever worked with. Raleigh has been been amazing to work with.
