Absolute Con Artists.....

Where do I start, purchased 2 engines, one for a vauxhall Corsa van, the other for a discovery 4.

The vauxhall engine turned up quickly, but wasn't in good condition, had to replace many parts on it, the discovery engine, well that's a story!

They sent one out, after weeks of "the lorry can't get to you" "we only have one mechanic in today" and more BS excuses.

When the engine arrived, it was very obviously fire damaged, meaning the garage would not fit it... nearly a month later, no new engine, no refund and they have only just picked up the previous engine..

Every time you call, you get fobbed off with some BS excuse... my advice, dont use them, if you do, PAY ON CREDIT CARD, keep every email, every call... you'll need it !!!

Thank god I paid on a credit card and can get this money back!

THIS COMPANY IS A ABSOLUTE JOKE !!! I feel like going to the police , trading standards and taking this further !!!! I have been in a nightmare for past 2 weeks !!! Took days off work - LOST OUT ON MONEY!!! Waited all day in on Friday because they said part is ‘coming’ LOL!! I rang them today and now they saying it’s been delivered !!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM !!!! AVOID IT !!!! You will not get your car part!!! They rip you off !!!!!

I bought a wheel from this firm. It looked great in the online picture.
It arrived and I removed the packaging to find it plastered in mud. The mud was so thick you couldn't see the tyre tread. They'd packaged over the mud and sent it out. When I complained they said it got muddy when they wheeled It across their yard. Their yard must be knee deep in mud.
I spent 45 minutes with a hosepipe and stiff brush trying to clean it and it's still dirty. I sent them photos of the still middy wheel and they accused me of lying about my cleaning efforts. The alloy was badly pitted which wasn't apparent from the online photo. They've said they'll arrange a return and refund but I get the feeling this won't happen and I'm not sending them it as then I'll have no wheel and be chasing for a refund which, going by other reviews, is an impossible task.
Avoid this firm at all costs. Bunch of shysters.

Update... I went through my bank and got my money back but found out how dodgy they really are. They told me several times they'd sent a courier to collect my wheel for refund. When I looked into the courier firm they mentioned I found they weren't listed at companies house and weren't listed at the business park address quoted. The courier was a different name from the delivery courier and that was strange in itself. In short it appears this firm has set up a fake courier webpage to try and convince people that they have attempted to return the item you bought. I ended up with a refund and the wheel lol

Do not give this company any money. I bought an engine and was lied to every day for three weeks about it being on its way. This film sound professional when you ring but it’s a Mickey Mouse outfit, and absolute S***Show. I gave it one star as you can’t give zero. I posted this report to warn others before I start legal action today over £1300 worth of parts that I never received

Needed a rear drivers side mirror for chevy aveo.Impossible to buy new and most available did not have repeat indicator. Saw one with Vaux complete on line late afternoon - paid for and delivered less than 48 hours later . Brilliant service and price - thank you.

Very easy to deal with, Andy kept me apprised of everything he was doing during the inspection and was a nice chap to go for a test drive with!
Payment was received within 5 minutes of paperwork being signed. Very simple process and Andy is a credit to the company

Absolute crap engine, 2,800 pounds for a pile of junk, arrived weeks late, verbal abuse on the phone, now engine fitted after loads of missing and broken parts replaced , only to be told its knackered !
Please no one use this company !!!

I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I bought an engine from them with 5 day delivery and one month later it had not arrived. I phoned daily for 3 weeks and was told lie after lie by their ignorant staff. They said the courier had tried to deliver, then the engine had fallen off the pallet and needed cleaning up before delivery, then the courier had staff problems and finally they admitted the engine didnt actually exist! They never return calls, or reply to emails, and their pathetic excuses are clearly read from a script. I waited 2 weeks for a refund with more lies when I chased it up. Thankfully my credit card company has been brilliant and refunded my money within 48 hours of me raising a claim. I have referred details of Vaux Spares disgusting behaviour to the local Trading Standards and the police. BE WARNED!!

Purchased an engine from this company and was told 5 to 6 working days for delivery, when engine didn't arrive was told they had difficulty removing it from other car. I then had several excuses ending in the engine being dropped by couriers asked for a refund i was continually told various lies as to why the money was not back in my account. After two weeks i was eventually told my refund had been processed and would i edit my previous review as i had been refunded. A week later and still no refund. Contacted my bank and money was back on my account within an hour. This has been passed by my bank to visa to further investigate. Please read other reviews most of them tell the same story, AVOID this company.

ordered gearbox over 2 weeks ago, was told 5 days delivery, every time i called, fobbed me off saying its in transit, these cowboys took my money but still no part arrived. Absolute joke of a company ordered a engine over a week and half ago now took payment statught away told me 5-6 working days for delivery after calling them a week later got told I missed the first one so it got sent back which is a lie as I have cctv and someone always there for 7:30 try saying they deliver at 8:07, got told I’d get a phone call back never happens rung the next day same thing someone with contact you NOTHING AGAIN, ring 9 days in to order and again get told someone with call you and again NOTHING. 24/7 spares recommend these bunch of cowboys that no nothing and worst bit is almost taken another week to receive my money back would never use these if the was the only company left absolute jobs worths

Ordered a part from this company only to receive a damaged part with a pipe missing then told that i am in the wrong even tho 14 or tho pics on the listing showed the part coming with the pipe, to be told 14 pics of one item are stock pics and the pipe dont come with it then told that vauxhall charges £164 for this part, being disable then having to deal with this company over a £20 part has been a massive joke avoid at all costs !!!

I recently purchased a rear indicator lence from vaux spare
The spare was the wrong one so I returned it the next day a cpl of days later I rang about a refund was told I would receive it next day 5weeks and numourous phone calls later nothing
I advise anyone thinking of using this company DONT right con merchants Even after 2 years I am still waiting for a refund or replacement right dodgy company

The experience I had was a good one,. The product was in good shape and turned up really quick giving me the head start on the job in hand,. Will use again.
