Supplied vamoose awning rail but instructions were wrong ones only to find out I had purchased correct one but the rail had been picked wrong by van style. Only after speaking to manufacturers it was confirmed the wrong one had been supplied. Still waiting after two weeks for Vanstyle to call me back and explain. Could have been a costly exercise on my new VW van. Thankfully the manufacturers have come to the rescue even though I didn’t purchase from them. Never again would I trust Vanstyle.

If you're looking for a company that will test your patience, drain your wallet, and leave your van looking like a DIY disaster, Van Style is the place to go. Their slogan should be: “We promise nothing and still manage to underdeliver.”

🚫 Customer Service? More Like Customer Sabotage
Calling their support line is like shouting into the void. Emails vanish into a black hole, never to be answered.

When you do get a response, it's either condescending or completely irrelevant. One rep told me to “Google it” when I asked about installation instructions.

🛠️ Products That Belong in a Bin
The parts arrived scratched, mismatched, and smelling suspiciously like burnt plastic.

Fitment? Laughable. I’ve seen toddlers assemble IKEA furniture with more precision.

Their “premium” accessories feel like they were sourced from a pound shop clearance bin.

⏳ Delivery Time: A Journey Through the Ages
Estimated delivery: 3–5 days. Actual delivery: 3–5 weeks, after multiple angry follow-ups.

Packaging looked like it had been kicked across the country by a disgruntled courier.

💸 Value for Money? Not Even Close
Overpriced junk. You’re essentially paying a premium for frustration and regret.

I’d have had better results duct-taping garden ornaments to my van.

Final Verdict: Van Style is a cautionary tale masquerading as a business. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear. Unless your goal is to turn your van into a monument of poor decisions, there are far better options out there.

Update: Vanstyle did message via eBay to say they would collect the item, which I advised the days I'd be in for it to be collected. They have since ignored every message I sent asking when will it be collected and so far item still hasn't been collected nor have I had a refund. So really think about this before you buy from them and don't end up in same situation I'm left in!

Ordered bonnet protector from my relay camper after they confirmed it would fit. Item arrived but after fitting my bonnet would not close fully. Contacted company and they wanted me to pay postage to return and it had to be in unused condition for a refund. I advised them I'm not happy to pay postage nor was it in unused condition now as I had to fit it to find the issue I found with the item. Kept going back and forth on messages and they never really answered my questions and just kept replying with send it back if I'm not happy but couldn't do that until they agreed to pay the return postage and that I'd get a refund for the full amount. I recommend you avoid giving this company your business as when it goes wrong like my case they are reluctant to sort the issue unless the customer is further out of pocket for things they shouldn't be. One of the worst customer services I've dealt with and certainly won't be giving them my business again!

Good quality roof rails and set the van off. Very reasonable price also at around £50.00. Fairly easy to fit once you’ve sussed out the front and back of them.

Really wasn’t expecting to have to prep and fill/sand the panel I’d purchased. And in reply to your reply. I think paying £245 pound for a panel I wouldn’t expect chunks to be missing out of the corners and it to be scratched big time.

Nice website, easy to understand and parts were exactly what i wanted.

Arrived as promised and well packaged. Easy to fit. Looks good as it is quite discreet and doesn't ruin the look of the van.

Product arrived as expected and were exactly as described did the job perfectly. No issues with them.

However customer service needs some work. Needed to amend my order so emailed straight away as that is what it states to do on the order email they send you. Also says order can be amended up until day of dispatch. Conveniently they emailed me back 20 mins after i received dispatch confirmation saying that they couldn’t change my order anymore since it’s been dispatched.

In response to my google review I was basically told unless people order during opening times then they won’t be able to change anything on their order as the warehouse team works faster.

If that’s how it is then fair enough not much you can do about that.
However this could’ve been explained to me in an email instead of having to find answers by leaving a review, especially since I’m still awaiting an email reply from them.
