Judging by the previous reviews, I have to believe that the product has been updated. The new fob works great, easy to pair and I fitted 4 alarms ok my van in about 15 mins, including pairing. You literally hold the "on" button on the actual alarm then press any button on the remote and it pairs. I was expecting something complicated. Very loud and couldn't be happier. I had used Van Guardian before and same principal to be honest but more half the price

Recently installed the Vanalarm Lite into my motorhome. A little surprised at the negative reviews? My system with 4 x units worked straight away, easily paired the units together and 2 fobs activated.
For the money a fantastic piece of kit.

Initially it was no very good, even with everything closed and put into safe mode, it would constantly ring the phone as soon as you started driving, however, for some reason, recently it has been working very well, so for the time being I'm very happy with it, the fact you can't contact them easily isn't good though, if they says they don't have many issues with the units, then why would they not have a contact number to deal with any issues that do arise, having to trawl through overly long YouTube videos isn't v professional, do better.

Possibility the worst design of a remote control in the history of the world.
If you touch, drop, put in your pocket, talk within 10 feet of it, it will depress a button.

Product good, 2nd one I have purchased,worked on original sim from other older unit I had,do check your spam box for email replies to any questions you have as they end up in there? Hoping this unit will give me years of service like my previous one

Extremely poor experience from start to finish.

The product itself is not as described and the overall quality is very disappointing. The siren is extremely quiet and only becomes somewhat louder when the door is open, which completely defeats the purpose of having a vehicle alarm in the first place. For something marketed as a security product, the volume is nowhere near what you would reasonably expect.

Another major issue is that the alarms are not properly interlinked. If you trigger one alarm, the others do not go off at the same time. The company claims this is due to battery life, but in reality it just highlights how poorly designed the system is. A proper security system should trigger all alarms simultaneously to maximise noise and deterrence. As it stands, someone would have to set each alarm off individually, which completely defeats the purpose. It’s like having a house alarm installed separately in each room that doesn’t trigger the others — it simply doesn’t make sense.

The tracker that comes with the system is also very poor. It relies on a cheap-looking app with a very clunky interface that appears to be a generic app. The functionality is unreliable and difficult to use, making the tracker feel like a very low-quality add-on rather than a serious tracking solution.

The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. When I returned the item within the legal cooling-off period, the company deducted money from my refund and made claims about the condition of the returned goods that do not match the evidence I have from when the item was sent back. Communication over email was unhelpful and dismissive throughout.

Because the issue could not be resolved directly with the company, I have now had to pursue a chargeback through my bank to recover the remaining money.

After looking through other reviews, it appears this is not an isolated case. Several other customers have reported similar problems with deductions, customer service, and product quality.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience and I would strongly recommend buyers read the negative reviews before purchasing.

Excellent so far! I bought two alarms for my dad’s van for added security. They were easy to install and both are working perfectly. Very pleased with the purchase.

Brought two units for a new panel van, side loading door and rear barn doors.
Watched all the install videos several times before attempting instalation, paired one fob with both transponder units 1st time.
Alarm works well, good value for money for under £50

Purchase this device last year and found it very easy to install and piece of mind knowing my vehicle is fitted with their system very easy to set up and had to contact the company regarding purchasing some new stickers and replied in no time and forwarded me my request can definitely recommend Vanolarm 👌

Waste of money. Cheap, confusing, nothing links without hassle. Vanolarm has hundreds of excuses, no help at all. Help section on their website is a total waste of time. Please do not buy! You will regret it.

Had my Vanolarm for 2 years.. it has given me great peace of mind knowing that my van is protected .its easy to install and just works

Worst product I have ever bought. Cheap made and you can see the same product on Amazon for way cheaper. You are basically paying for a vanolarm print on the device. The key fob keeps setting it off while in my pocket. After about 2 day I smashed them on the floor put it the skip. I have had the normal version and the lite. Both are as bad as each other. Stay way clear.

It’s genuinely a poor product. Not really fit for purpose. Constantly thinks it’s in the wrong place, the batteries are shocking (leave it parked for a couple of weeks holiday and it’ll be flat) and it doesn’t work in the eu even on a network that supports it. Wouldn’t waste the money and get something better!

Absolute rubbish. Cheap Chinese tat. Still had my van broken into after having sensors on every door. Alarm constantly texting you even when you are driving it.

What a load of headache. Wish I had never bought this rubbish!. A bunch of different sensors with countless FOBS and a terrible set of instructions! 1P mobile - worthless. You can get a GPS tag for £35. Genuinely hate the fact i spent hundrends on such tat. Who cares if their device has a torch on it?! are we in 1970?!

The alarm is simple to install and in the most works realy well. I do believe it will act as a deterant however I was dissatisfied at how loud it is. Only 1 sticker in box even though bought 4 door sirens, and at the minute I can't get it to speak to my phone, possibly a sim issue?

So the theory of the product is good but the end result is stupid . Logically I thought when I armed and disarmed the alarm it would arm and disarm the main unit . That’s not true the main unit isn’t affected by the remote which results in the thing going off every few seconds sending you texts that it’s detected vibration so I switched off the vibration setting which I obviously would want as it’s pointless having it without then you just get constant texts saying it’s detected sound I mean come on guys did you not even test this product in the real world!! So basically if you want to use this you have to go into the app everytime you get somewhere and turn on the vibration and sound detectors or cope with the amount of texts it sends you and might I add you’ll have to go for the unlimited texts plan at £10 a month. It can’t be hard to incorporate the main unit into the remotes so it’s not active when you’re driving . The separate units that detect if someone’s trying to get it do a good job though just a shame about the main unit which is why I brought your product for the sms/phone calls just boggles my mind why you didn’t make it so you can arm and disarm the main unit

Very good product ideal for peace of mind when not near the vehicle. Fitting and operating instructions are very thorough including helpful videos. I experienced a problem with the tracker unit and the support group provided a solution very quickly. Would recommend this problem.
