As soon as I opened the package I knew it was rubbish. Button holes were not sewn properly so on the first fitting they became disfigured. The pullover knitting was really poor with large loose loops and loose ends, the shape of the garment was uneven. No labels with washing instructions, or size and the material felt horrible. I should have read the reviews before wasting $84

I bought a semi formal dress from Van Hallen Melbourne...
The item that I received was a net. No shape, no substance.... No dress... There's no way I could have worn the thing sent to me out in public...
I asked for a refund... Told I could have a percentage refund or I could spend a fortune mailing it back to CHINA ¡!!!!!!
Totally unacceptable...
Total scam ....

Shipping was lightning fast and the quality exceeded what I imagined, you can really trust them to deliver what they advertise every time.

Beware, my experience was delivery time, poor quality, the return process was not the address they told me for return in China. Poor fit .Do not hesitate, contact Fair Trading as I did.

Van Hallen Melbourne - you would think it is in Melbourne but is actually an overseas company. Delivery took 2 weeks. When it arrived, it was not like the picture online, the quality was much lower than expected. I have since found it online for significantly cheaper than what I paid. I could return for a full refund at my own expense, overseas, and paying customs fees or accept a 40% refund. They were nice to deal with but this does not negate all of the issues which could have been avoided with clear, consistent messaging about the company and its location. All in all, very disappointing. Lesson learned - won’t buy again from them and will be more careful checking the location of unknown brands before purchase next time.

I ordered jeans and a sweater. What arrived was a package of polyester with scans of jeans and a sweater.
The sizing was so far off.

So then I go to return to be told I can keep the items for 10%. Yuck. No thanks.
Okay full refund but return to China. Hmm. Refund policy states an address of Amsterdam. Business name says Melbourne.

Stay away from this company. The items are not what they look like.

SCAM COMPANY. Do not order any thing from this company it’s a scam. Cheap nasty junk posted from China. You will not get what you think you’re ordering. Their VAT number from the Netherlands is registered to a Media company. Nothing to do with them. They have been reported to Victorian consumer affairs and an investigation will take place into their false and misleading practices AVOID AVOID AVOID

Other than the customer service lady being lovely everything else about this company sucks. Nothing about this company is Australian. I Wish I had researched before making a waste of money purchase. Ordered shoes, took forever to arrive and they looks nothing like the picture. The quality is beyond terrible and the sizing is off too. To make it worse if, you wish to return the items you have to return them to china and cover the customs and international delivery fee. If I could give this zero stars I would.

The size i received was tiny - waiste about 30 and came half way up my calf. Size large if you are a very small chinese person, which is by the chinese label where these people are actually lcoated, not melbourne

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE NO MATTER WHAT. The images look good however, what you receive is quality worse than temu. It is just cheap Chinese shit that turns up. It is not worth your time or effort.

The returns process is worse despite offering full refund they have offered me a 10% refund or to buy anything for $10USD.

Van Halen Melbourne, avoid at all costs. Talk about deceiving business. I ordered a jacket from Van Halen Melbourne only to be sent some substandard jacket which didn’t even resemble the one I thought I was buying. When I emailed to complain, I was told to send the jacket back to China, not where the business said it was located in its advertising. I did check its location. I thought it would be in Melbourne but I was surprised to see it was located in the Netherland. Well, even that was BS. I was told I had to send it back to China and they would not cover the international shipping costs etc. I paid $90 for this jacket. I could have got something way better on Temu. Just want to warn people about them. So sad people aren’t who they say they are. 😡😤🤬

Like everyone! I thought it was a high quality and legit store, but when I saw the packaging I knew straight away it was not legit! The worst part is the size was way too small not even medium, then my wife laughed at me that I am scammed. I wanted to replace my Nautica jacket which I had for 10 years. I got disappointment and they offering extras discounts to buy more of their cheap stuff instead of a refund

Long shipping time, poor quality product, looks nothing like the website display. Now have to return this crap and pay international shipping and import duty.

Customer service is shocking!

They are based in China and the clothes don’t even look the same to what they advertise and what they ship. Once shipped, then they tell you to send them back at your own expense but it’s actually them sending items that don’t match the picture.
Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!

STAY AWAY!!! Cheap and nasty. Paid over a $100 for my partner jacket . First didn’t arrive for two weeks and then the quality is actually embarrassing.
