So my debit pin was skimmed from there atm machine on 07/28/26 and used to steal money from my account on 07/29/26 for those that don't understand what skimmed means it means some criminals who knows how to copy your information on Valleys atm or any other machine.The banks all know this but they like to play dumb that way if you get robbed by someone using your pin with a fake debit card they made they don't have to give you back the money they are supposed to be protecting back too you and they want to make it seem like you did it because when they do this type of atm robbery with your money all they need is your pin number.For instance some one withdraw 115.00 plus a 2.00 atm fee on me on 07/29/26 the funny thing is that I had my debit card on me how was this possible I immediately froze my card until the nxt day I went to the Valley bank branch in Belleville NJ following day to report this fraud only to get looked at like I did it by the personal their and manager I think his name was Ron,Don ,who knows,he said I needed a Police report and was not very casual the way he spoke to me which I did not stand for I said to him why do I have to get a Police report when the issue is with your banking I knew talking to this guy was a waste of time.So I left to the branch on Franklin Ave in Belleville NJ where they were more professional than this branch was I knew they did not want to do good by me so I went ahead and contacted the state financial division.They were contacted by this agency immediately so I got a phone call from a manager by the name of Carlos from somewhere.Carlos was more concerned about the Google review I left on this issue and asked me if I can take it down which I did in good faith he told me to get a Police report which I did this was over a month ago no Carlos no credit for the money they stole nothing.Do you're self a favor stay away from banks like this one since then I closed my savings and waiting to close my checking I do not want to do business with people like this worst than the criminal who stole the money.This institution is not good for your money so think twice befor you open a bank account with valley bank your money is not safe in my eyes.SHAME,SHAME,SHAME,SHAME ON YOU VALLEY BANK.I will be letting people know about this issue nationwide.Thanks for nothing.

What a joke of a bank--particularly if you are looking for an online experience. My own experience: I opened a CD online and had an ACH transfer made to fund it. Then, even though they advertise as an online bank, I found out that there is no way to withdraw that (i.e. my) money and the interest by ACH transfer when the CD matured. The principal and interest from a CD automatically is put into a new CD unless you go into the bank (took me an hour including driving time), and sign a letter authorizing them to mail me a check with the principal and interest and close the account. (There is no way to authorize the closing of the CD online. I tried calling twice on this. The first time, when I first discovered that the CD automatically renewed, they told me I had to go into a branch to get my money. The second time, a couple of weeks before maturity, I was cut off while waiting for the person I was talking to get back to me after putting me on hold.) Simply put, online banking, which they advertise they have, should be online both ways--money in and money out. Customer service is more than a smile, or thank you and "you are a valuable customer" while you are on a long telephone hold. It is making things easier for your customer and, for example, not trying to make it so difficult to get your money that you leave it at that bank in a CD that you don't really want.
