Joel from Utility Outlet was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and clearly knew what he was talking about. There was an issue with taking over a new premises, but he resolved it straight away. A great asset to Utility Outlet – highly recommended.

Jordan was a pro. Called me when we moved units. Not sure where they got my number but who cares. It was cheaper than going direct with British Gas. Really good firm and a decent bloke.

Phoned my business saying they got my number from my landlord and need to swap my meter.

I am the owner of the business and the property so no landlord and had my meter changed last year anyway…. So Caught them out.

Told them to remove all my details from their system, they have no connection with my business at all.

Absolutely terrible company!!! Massive scam! They lie and pretend to be your energy company when really they are a broker, they put you on disgustingly high rates with high standing orders and say they are the best deals available to you when in fact they are not. Then you’re stuck in a contract. Also patch the calls up and stitch them together so the conversations don’t make sense so it looks like you’ve agreed to the terms when you haven’t!
Please avoid at all costs for your own sanity! All these positive reviews must be the workers/ family and friends 🤦🏼‍♀️

This company bugged me 6 times between 7-8am this morning. No idea where they got my number from, using my business name. Wouldnt explain who they were just that they were ring regarding the change of tenancy!

Ringing random people who don’t rent my commercial unit about changing the utilities. Claims they got the number from the landlord which I’ve double checked with them and isn’t the case. We’ve already changed our utilities and got it sorted. Unprofessional and hung up when I asked for our number to be removed.

It's hilarious when you see 5 star reviews and one star reviews for a company with nothing in between. Looking at the recent 5 star reviews there's only one guy that works there. I've been asked not to use his first name, but check him out, i'm sure they're all genuine!!!
He works out of a cupboard, but he's awesome!
I've repeatedly asked them not to call
me, they keep calling, i've told them they're in breach of their GDPR. i've now emailed them as a final warning, or i can escalate to the ombudsman.
I'd recommend anyone else do the same. It's a very straight forward process. 👌👍🏼

the guys here were really helpful for my eon renewal , sorted 2 of my business premises out and I've passed their number onto other friends who own businesses, really helpful and patient with me as well. highly recommend

Receieved a call from them insisting that they were working on behalf of EON to lock in discounted rates, after speaking with EON this is not the case!
They push for you to sign documents before you have a chance to read the terms etc
AVOID! Misleading company

My wife had spoke with utility outlet to arrange our rates. Switch was easy and smooth was offered to stay with current but cheaper deal with someone else,

They called me as if they’re associated with the landlord company and trying to get details from me over the phone - very unprofessional and seem dodgy

Switch was simple and hassle free. Their commissions are clear so I didn’t feel anything was underhand.

Dealt with Joel and he was professional and courteous throughout. Recommended.

Joel was very helpful, made a complicated change over with three meters very simple and explained whole process througout. Was courteous and explained any long waits on hold.

Utility Outlet convinced one of our employees, who was not authorised to switch contracts, to transfer our business energy contract to another provider, despite our existing agreement with Octopus. Over the past six months and, despite multiple requests, we have not received clear documentation to validate the new contract. Based on this experience, I would not recommend using Utility Outlet.

These guys have pestered us non stop since we moved into our new unit. Very pushy cold calls asking for payments over the phone. Trying to take people unawares. Have asked 3 different agents to stop calling us so far and the calls continue!

I had a fantastic experience working with Utility Outlet. They made finding the best energy deal simple.

Communication was excellent throughout, and I really appreciated their honesty.
