Simply Health shared great offer join for a membership at discounted rate , so I paid up since I am looking to get away, signed up and got to see that holidays I can view for free on TUI costs more there. Is this serious?

Absolutely fab holiday to Spain booked with utc.travel! Couldn’t find the price cheaper anywhere else and got extra money off in travel vouchers for being a member, the hotel was amazing and flights were direct with baggage

I have twice attempted to close my account and also contacted UTC via their membership email address. I haven’t received any response from them and they just continue to take money from my account. I have for the the third time, attempted to contact them about the issue, and will keep trying, but be aware that closing your account online and contacting membership will not generate a response or cancel your payments.

My first booking with UTC - whilst the site is easy to navigate it does omit critical details. Wanting to travel with Easy Jet it offered 3 options Light Economy, Inclusive Economy and Inclusive Plus Economy however it doesn't offer any further detail about what these packages included. Comparing the price with the EasyJet website the Inclusive Economy was very close to Seat, Speedy Boarding, and overhead baggage so opted for Inclusive Economy, assuming as I proceeded further with the booking the options for seats etc. would be available. After paying and receiving the voucher, none of the codes for EasyJet would work. I can't fault the customer services they were outstanding, quick to respond and after a couple of calls I was given the correct code. After logging in I found out I had a seat and hold baggage which is not what I wanted. I did feedback the issue but obviously nothing can be done. Disappointing after paying a membership fee I'd expect much more clarity when booking.

I booked a trip to the Prague Christmas Markets as advertised however after booking it was clear from google that the markets didnt actually start until the following week. I called the support line expecting a difficult time trying to resolve but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and effectively they resolved my issue. What could have been a real headache was made so much easier by their lovely customer service team who supported me every step of the way.

We recently booked a holiday with UTC - our third one. The previous had few issues but nothing major to sort out - like adding baggage on to bookings etc.

However this holiday was very different.

I admittedly made a mistake initially by inputting the name of one of our passengers incorrectly. Upon realising, I contacted UTC and asked what we could do. With it being 2.5 weeks prior to flying I thought it was easily resolved and at worse I would pay a fee to change the name. I was happy to do so.

The two legs of the flights were booked in different ways. So I was able to contact BA and change the outward flight in 5 minutes with no cost. The inbound flight was booked using one of UTCs suppliers - apparently they contacted the supplier to change the name and got no response.

In total, I called 15 times prior to the holiday as I was eager to get this sorted before we left the country. UTC assured me they had a solution and after failing to communicate with their supplier they decided that they would offer me a new ticket. So I set off on the holiday believing I would have my return journey issues resolved.

Upon arriving at our destination I was informed that UTC were not going to issue a ticket. Nor were they going to change the name on the booking. Instead they essentially told me to resolve the issue myself with the airline 24 hours before flying.

This caused plenty of anxiety as the ticket with the issue was for my 9 year old daughter. UTC were aware of this and I reminded them plenty of times of the situation.

Eventually, at great cost (time spent calling UTC, writing emails, waiting for responses), I managed to resolve the situation myself.

Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t bother booking with UTC again. I cannot trust their suppliers and therefore I feel it’s a risk. Their customer service may be polite but they lack the authority to get situations sorted in a timely manner. I do not feel that this situation was initially taken seriously. It’s only after several phone calls and emails that the issue was raised to more senior levels.

As a potentially loyal customer (as mentioned it was the third booking), I feel let down and believe my time and money would have been better spent elsewhere.

I found out about this website through my company and they were soo helpful. The package deal are really good and so affordable. I am very happy with utc.travel and will be my go-to booking website from now on.

So simple and quick to use.
I've just saved over £130 on a 2 night trip to Porto in May. That's a couple of good meals for sure!

Just booked a flight to Singapore and a five-star hotel with UTC. Prices are really very good - saved hundreds of £'s compared to the same itinerary on booking.com (I checked because I've always used booking.com in the past). And the flight and hotel booking process was very easy to navigate, Can't recommend UTC highly enough!

Booked a city break to Amsterdam and was amazed by the value of the 4* hotel. Especially as the city is well known for it's expensive accommodation the fact we were able to get a really nice hotel on the main road down from the central station was so unexpected. Couldn't recommend Ultimate Travel Club enough

First use since UTC launched. Found a great deal for a hotel in the area we were looking at. One query was quickly dealt with by the customer service team who were great. Just looking forward to our weekend away now!

I signed up to Ultimate Travel Club following a recommendation from a friend and so far am very pleased I did. With travel plans backed up since COVID lockdown, I wanted to book a couple of hotels (one in Venice this year, one in the Cyclades next summer) for 3/4 night stays as a family. Having done my research and chosen the hotels I wanted, I checked the official hotels' website prices and compared them to the same (hotel, room, date) combination on UTC. I was surprised to find UTC substantially cheaper: £250 less for the Venice stay and £200 less for Greece. Booking experience was good (I did one booking online and as I had questions, one over the phone). I've yet to use the other features like flight, transfers and days out bookings but the savings I've made on hotels alone makes me think it's well worth the membership fees.

A completely seamless experience. Having not been away for so long I really wanted to get a good deal and I was shocked by how great the prices were. Managed to get a 4 star hotel in Paris for the same amount as a 2/3 hotel on other sites. Customer service has been superb as well. Couldn’t recommend it more highly
