Impossible to speak with someone. There is no way of being able to cancel your subscription once signed up. I had to cancel it via my bank. When I wanted to ask questions about the software again no-one came back to me when I emailed them. I have subsequently gone with landlord vision who is more expensive but they do answer your questions and will phone you back. This could be quite a good product but has a shocking after service. also when you wanted to run an end of year report, the information was all jumbled up like a spiders web and not put in columns or any sort of order for each property. This is really important when you want to check your inputs and have an overall detailed summary of your accounts - needs a lot of work doing to the software

Very intuitive and easy to use. It helps us with the monthly management as well as MTD reporting.

This is sound software used as a landlord didn’t take too much to pick it up and once you’re going it’s easy. But the best part is that the support is excellent, quite rare in today’s market. Glad I got it glad I learned it now use it also for tracking reminders on certifications.

I have only just registered with Hammock. I am not a numerate or tech type of person so was very nervous about the whole issue of digital tax and whether I could deal with it and how good or otherwise Hammock would be. Sam the AI assistant has been extremely helpful by answering my frequent requests for help and whilst I have not found the set up easy I have so far managed it. Really pleased so far - excellent service!

I cannot recommend Hammock enough! I have been using the platform since mid-May, starting on a free trial, and I was so impressed that I have already upgraded to the full paid subscription.
I manage two HMOs. Keeping track of different tenant payments alongside ongoing expenses used to be a massive headache, but Hammock has made the entire process incredibly smooth. In fact, my accountant was so impressed with how easy it made submitting my accounts that she actually asked me for Hammock’s details so she can recommend it to her other landlord clients!
The real standout, however, is their customer support. I accidentally deleted my bank feed and was completely stressing out about how I was going to manage and recover all that data. Priya S from Hammock was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to restore everything for me and completely fixed the issue.
If you are a landlord managing multiple properties, this software is a lifesaver. I am so, so happy with it highly recommended!

software solution for landlord tax - it's early days but it's ticking all the boxes so far. meets needs of complicated ownership/portfolio set up. Easy to use. great customer service

We are a small accountancy practise and this year have put 10 landlords with complicated property ownerships onto Hammock software. Great product, very easy to set up and use, we have had some training sessions with clients who will be doing their own records and one comment was 'it's like playing a game'. The great thing is being able to go in and easily correct any errors before filing with Hmrc each quarter.

As an accountancy practice we have been following Hammock over the past three years or so. Even before MTD for ITSA eventually became mandatory. The guys at Hammock are very friendly, helpful and experienced. Software is easy to use and navigate. Once we have filed few quarterly returns, most of our clients will then take over. The major benefit of Hammock is the info and docs you can save and eventually it will be one stop shop for our clients making property management easier. So Hammock is not just for MTD.

Hammock and the entire team is absolutely brilliant including “Sam” - their robotic chat bot. All my emails get promptly replied with positive solutions. I have been using spreadsheets for last 20 years and sending them to other partners in the business and finally to the accountant for self-assessment. It’s goodbye to all this. Hammock Software for Landlords takes care of bulk of the workload. Our work is now divided between the partners. We are almost ready for the first MTD submission for HMRC for 5th August as soon as June is over. I cannot thank Hammock enough for this wonderful platform they have created. 🥰

I have just started using the Hammock property management application, primarily because of its support for HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD). The system is extremely well designed, very straight forward to use and the open banking feed makes tracking transactions against the properties very easy, many being done automatically by the application. The company is also providing zoom sessions for Landlords to explain both the application and MTD ... Mathew the presenter is very knowledgable and incredibly helpful. I recommend the application and company to any landlords who have yet to tackle MTD.

We have to do MTD this year and, after research, chose Hammock for our property portfolio. Initially, we struggled with setting it up, but Himayat from the support team was absolutely brilliant and sorted out all of our issues. We now feel comfortable that we will be able to cope with MTD with less effort than it previously took me to do the accounts on an Excel spreadsheet!

I tried many software products for "getting MTD ready" and I can say Hammock is the most user friendly software of them all hands down. It has the feel of thinking of all the landlord needs.

After struggling for years trying to do our accounts on Excel we discovered Hammock, Oh! magic. It's sooo intuitive, taking bank details straight from the account to the display, and noting what they are automatically, divvying up the amount to 'rent', 'agent fee' etc.
The AI help bot is really good and couldn't care less how many times you ask it the same question as you did last week. We've just completed our free trial and will be keeping it, I just wish we'd discovered it years ago.

I've just started using Hammock and while it takes a little bit to get up to speed, the system is simple enough and should hopefully help me navigate MTD.

Really pleased after 10 months of using Hammock Landlord software, it has simplified all admin related to our small portfolio of properties not only the accounting-side. Having this one stop portal for mortgage, tenant, EPC, Gas Safety, Electrical Safety etc details, providing reminders in good time of when renewals are needed, will ensure compliance more easily. I wish I had moved over from spreadsheets earlier - little did I know how easy and helpful it was going to be.

I signed up early with MTD.All was smooth.
Divorcing mid financial year meant that some properties that had been shared became solely mine.
Hammocks portfolio system made this seamless despite my anxieties, and I was very ably and most kindly supported by Himayat and Mary Grace. I'm leaving this review to express my thanks to them and to recommend them to their Managers. Hammock are very lucky to have such wonderful staff - as are Hammock's customers. Highly recommend - exceptional service.

Does not work as promised prior to paying for it. Does not support rent a room so am very concerned when i have to make my first mtd submisstion

Outstanding support from day 1. James and his team tirelessly helped me to solve my issue with technology with a friendly, efficient and attentive approach. I strongly recommend the Hammock platform, I am very impressed.

We previously used spreadsheets for a modest portfolio but MTD was the turning point. We are also Xero users for company accounts, but Hammond offers property management features and reminders which help us keep our house in order (no pun intended). I have been in the software industry for more than 40 years and can honestly say the software was incredibly easy to set up. However, when I have needed guidance, the responses have been accurate, to the point and helpful straight away with little wait time. Sooo refreshing!
