U-Save Car & Truck Rental - U-Save Tivat Airport Anmeldelser 

Used stress free car rental which subsequently booked us with u save at Tivat airport Montenegro . We were given a car in a non road worthy condition with engine management lights on. Needed a maintenance and an oil service , had bumps and scrapes all over the body , was dirty. not glean and stained seats. In fact 1 seat looked like it was blood stained , had 2 wheel trims missing the cajole condition and cleanliness of the car was disgusting and all we were told was that’s your car , actually think it was their own car and they had swapped it over for the hire car for personal use .. staff were unfriendly and didn’t care . I complained to both stress free car hire and u save and neither really want to know or have gone anything about it and are blaming each other as I’ve requested compensation or a full refund. During the hire which was only 4 days they were suppose to contact me and have the car replaced. I’m still waiting for that contact and when we approached them on the return neither the droit or the trod on the u save deck were interested and got very angry about the complaint .. I’d advise anyone too tho k twice about using these companies as up to now we’ve only been flogged off and had the book passed from 1 company to the other so definitely no refund or compensations being issued .. this is 3 weeks and ongoing .. totally shocking and not acceptable

בחזרה לטענת הבודק הרכב היה מלוכלך "בחוץ" ולכן חייבו אותנו בתשלום על שטיפה (לא היה כלום חוץ מאבק מינורי ולא חריג של שימוש ברכב כמה ימים )

Very happy with my rental , was smooth pick up and drop off . Car was an excellent price and was in excellent condition .

This company offers cars at a reasonably seeming price. They seem to not earn their money on car rentals but on overpriced insurance or "repair" charges for minor damages.

If you are looking for a cheap car rental and insurance, the total package will most definitely be cheaper elsewhere. If you are not going for their insurance, document every preexisting damage and god beware anything happens to the car. If any part of the car is damaged they will quote you for the cost of the whole part.

Case in point: I did not go for their insurance and caused minor damage to the car.
Quotation from a local repair shop: 400 - 800 Euro. Quotation from U-save's software was 2000+, which I was pressured to pay, under threat of police being called otherwise.
No deatailed explanation given bexond "that's what our IT system says" on how the calculation works, whether it is based on cost of repair or replacement and full description of damages was only made available to me after payment.

This helps explain the pricing of the insurance - you are not so much insuring yourself against anything you do, but against their greed.

Turned away despite showing up, no warning given

I booked a car with U-Save at Tivat Airport (Montenegro) through EasyTerra/CarTrawler, with my flight details provided at the time of booking. I arrived in person at the counter on the correct date, ready to collect the car, only to be told on the spot that it had been cancelled as a “no-show.” I received no email or call warning me beforehand — I found out standing at the desk.

Despite being physically present with a valid booking, U-Save refused any refund and still charged me for insurance on a rental that never happened. No flexibility, no communication, just a blanket cancellation policy applied without any grace period.

To top it off, while I was dealing with this, a man sitting at the same desk area (different company) then offered me a car for cash on the spot. Draw your own conclusions about what’s going on at that counter. I’m currently disputing the charges with my card issuer. Would not recommend renting from U-Save.

En general fue una buena experiencia. Nos hubiera gustado que nos facilitaran un poco más las cosas, pero en general estuvo bien.

Als 70-Jähriger musste ich 168 Euro nachzahlen, bevor ich den Wagen erhalten habe. Das konnte ich im Vorfeld nicht erkennen. Danach hat alles geklappt.

Verliep soepel. Snel en duidelijk. Geen issues.
