"Overnight" delivery taking a week with ZERO communication or accountability
I paid for an overnight delivery from Randburg to Ballito, and almost a week later, the parcel has still not arrived. For over two days, customer service has been feeding me the exact same line: that they are "checking with operations." I am constantly promised that someone will call me back with an update, but the phone never rings. I am the one who has to keep phoning them to follow up, only to be given the same excuses. Absolutely no one can give me a concrete answer as to where my package actually is or why it hasn't been delivered. I have proactively confirmed the delivery address multiple times, re-verified the recipient's contact information, and even provided the estate access code well in advance. Despite doing all the work on my end, the parcel is nowhere to be found, and the company is refusing to provide real answers. Do not trust their "urgent" or "overnight" claims.

We need to correct the record regarding this delivery.
Our operational records show that delivery was attempted three times. Each attempt failed because the estate could not be accessed: the number provided in the delivery instructions for the access code repeatedly went unanswered.
When an access code was later supplied, the driver entered the estate, but the receiver was not at home and could not be reached by phone. Although you asked for the parcel to be left at the door, concern was also raised that it could be lost. We could therefore not leave it unattended without a signed POD or clear acceptance of responsibility.
The tracking history and delivery notes support these events. The delay was caused by unanswered calls, unavailable estate access, and no receiver available to accept the parcel—not by a lack of delivery attempts.

The parcel can be delivered once the receiver is available to provide estate access and accept the parcel. As today is a public holiday and there are no deliveries scheduled , the next delivery attempt will be arranged thereafter, subject to those requirements.

Extremely disappointing service. I paid for an overnight delivery because the parcel contained important, time-sensitive documents from the Embassy. It was supposed to arrive on Friday.
Instead, it was only delivered on Tuesday at approximately 17:00 — several days late.
During this time, I repeatedly contacted the company and stressed the urgency of the delivery. I was even told that the courier would deliver it, yet the promised timeframe was completely missed.
This caused me significant stress and disruption, particularly because these were important documents that I needed within a specific timeframe. Paying for an overnight service and receiving the parcel several days later is simply unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend UrgentGo for important or time-sensitive documents. If timing is critical, I would strongly suggest choosing a courier that can actually deliver within the service timeframe you are paying for.
