Upcover have a great policy. They've truly thought about what health practitioners would need in the event of a claim. The extra aspects that Upcover offer are so much more comprehensive than my existing policy. For me, the main difference is that it appears to be a policy that considers what a customer needs with their insurance rather than the minimum a company can get away with and still sell a product.

Dealing with insurance can be a very daunting experience. Having dealt with business insurance in another life establishing insurance for a new business is not a unfamiliar process to me. The seamless online process was dream. The ability to pause the quote and pick up at a late date without having to re-enter all the data was a very pleasant surprise. For the unseasoned the virtual "hand holding " checkups from the team regarding any assistance required I thought was customer focused support rather than sales pitch. Overall a very pleasant and easy experience. Would recommend.

Good and prompt customer service however the coverage limits were a bit confusing and I had to call to increase the coverage after purchasing from the initial quote which cost more. I also initially bought the cover paying monthly but was then told that in order to increase the coverage I had to pay a lump sum upfront and it couldn’t be added to the monthly instalments which was frustrating. Furthermore I had a discount code through my professional body however was only told after the fact that the discount could only be used on annual payments not monthly, which felt a bit deceiving.

As a new business on the Government's SEA Program (formerly known as "NEIS"), mandatory insurance cover was required prior to be accepted on the program.

I personally spoke with Skye - the founder of Upcover at great length to set up the policy, as the government had extremely strict requirements for applicants.

I cannot recommend Upcover enough to anyone looking at taking out comprehensive business insurance.

I pay by the month (by direct debit) which means that once the initial setup was completed, I don't need to worry about a thing.
