I recently had a zipper issue with my Torch Backpack, and their team went above and beyond to make it right. The replacement process was smooth, quick, and completely stress-free. A special thank you to Ana, who was exceptionally gracious, patient, and genuinely helpful on the phone—she made the entire experience feel effortless and truly cared about resolving my issue.

As for the gear itself, the Torch Backpack is outstanding. The build quality is top-notch, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The pocket layout is incredibly practical, everything is easy to access, and it’s extremely comfortable to wear. Whether I’m traveling, commuting through the city, or even making a quick grocery run, it fits seamlessly into my daily routine.

One of my favorite features is the integrated lighting system—I use it all the time. Living in Chicago, where the weather can be unpredictable, I’ve put this gear through its paces, and it has held up amazingly well.

I also own one of their helmets, and it’s just as impressive. Unit 1 clearly prioritizes both safety and thoughtful design, which is rare to find at this level.

My father was in a terrible accident on his electric bike, he was hit by a minivan going 35 mph. He has extensive injuries including (but not limited to) 5 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, internal bleeding, and a broken leg. The one thing he did not have was a head injury. He came out of the accident without EVEN a concussion. The helmet alerted my mother, who was able to meet him at the hospital immediately. The helmet is destroyed, and Unit 1 is replacing it for free. Consider us loyal customers for life, this helmet is absolutely worth the price tag.

I have been using the Unit 1 Faro helmet for many years and once the first one had a little issue the guys at Unit 1 without any hiccup replaced it. It’s the best helmet I ever had and get stopped on the street to get compliments on it. The different an accessories are great like the lights abd remote control , so for the city , nature or the different outdoors terrains , Unit 1 gear is gonna be your best friend! Cherry on top , great customer service!

Even when my original color and size were temporarily out of stock, they communicated clearly, offered alternatives, and made the switch seamlessly. Been trying to get a hold of someone with customer service and haven't heard from anyone in literally months. I have sent at least a dozen emails in the last 3 months and nobody has gotten back to me. They do not have a phone number or a call center so the only way to get a hold of anyone is through email. Even trying to get a hold of them on their social media platforms yields no results. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.

I had a very positive experience with UNIT 1 customer support. I was having trouble pairing a second remote, and Ana from the support team was absolutely fantastic.

She patiently walked me through the correct manual reset and offline pairing process, and thanks to her clear and professional guidance, the issue was fully resolved. Her explanations were detailed, accurate, and easy to follow.

The products and the service are great. The app provided is not intuitive user friendly.

I first discovered UNIT 1 during their Kickstarter campaign, right after buying my class 3 e-bike. I was looking for a helmet that offered both safety and smart design at higher speeds, so I purchased the Aura Hybrid helmet, tinted visor, along with the remote and smart lights.

From the moment I started using them, everything worked flawlessly. The lighting system immediately boosted my visibility, and confidence. I noticed a real difference in how drivers behaved, giving me more space and passing with greater care. It was obvious they appreciated a cyclist who made an effort to be seen. Since then, over two years of riding, I haven’t had a single serious close call.

My first contact with UNIT 1’s support team came recently when I had a minor issue with my visor. Even though it was well past its warranty period, their team didn't disappiont and went above and beyond to ensure the problem was fully resolved. Their dedication and responsiveness made it one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in years.
