​I contacted The Unique Maps Co to create a very specific 80th birthday gift for my father-in-law: a pre-Partition map of India charting the journey of his family history.

From the start, the level of communication was outstanding.

​Because of the complex detail of the order - marking four specific locations of deep personal significance (Rawalpindi, Shimla, Purkazi, and Varanasi) and adding a poignant literary dedication - as well as juggling demands on my time (Operational deployment, a family trip, and some family illness) being able to coordinate closely via WhatsApp was a significant advantage. It made the whole thing much smoother and more convenient than relying solely on an e-commerce website, and I received prompt, helpful, and expert responses every time I reached out.

​When we encountered technical hurdles with the website payment system, the team was incredibly proactive, moving seamlessly to a manual invoice and bank transfer to ensure the order could proceed without delay.

The attention to detail was equally impressive; when I noticed on the initial proofs that a location name was difficult to read on the original 1857 map, they updated the digital draft to ensure it was perfectly legible. They even accommodated a last-minute change to the delivery address so the gift would be waiting for my father-in-law when he returned from his trip.

​The final result is beautiful, and my father-in-law absolutely loves it. If you are looking for a high-quality, unique gift and want to deal with a business that prioritises personal service and clear communication, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I know I'll definitely be using them again.

Ordered old lap with aging, technically what I ordered ! But it's just a print

For 120 quid absolutely not worth it. Little bit shocked to be honest. I did email them saying we'll done on the con. Can't hate the player. But really a cheap print for that money is day light robbery. It's nice enough but pretty sure I could have done it. I wanted and paid for much more. Shame co up of have been amazing. Now I have to give this thing to my partner for Xmas and I am gutted

Unfortunately there was a bend in the product and am quite disappointed with this product that I purchased.

Company reached out immediately which is great customer service, awaiting the replacement item, will update once item arrives.

New updated item has arrived, good condition as requested. Very easy to deal with and very helpful.

Gorgeous, high quality map of Celtic Britain. I was worried shipping would be a bit tight before Christmas, but the company handled it brilliantly and my map arrived in time to travel with me to the US in my luggage. Will definitely buy from them again.

The history of Cassiopeia is fascinating, which has been beautifully captured in this print. I've framed it and hung it on my bedroom wall. Every time I see Cassiopeia swirling through the heavens, tied to her chair, it makes me feel good, I know I made the right choice. Efficient & swift delivery, very reasonable priced, and excellent quality.

My partner is writing a novel in a fictional town, but using a real map from the 1920's to make his character movements around town consistent and realistic. I wanted to get that map customized with the fictional city and river name, and seven of the main novel locations marked and labeled. I was unsure how to get it accurately priced and ordered through the website so I contacted the company through their WhatsApp link. The response came quickly, and they walked me through all the options, helped pick a much more beautiful version of the city map from the same historical time, answered my numerous questions and gave me an estimate of the cost. Then when I was ready to pull the trigger on the project they worked up the invoice for me and sent the link so there would not be any mistakes.

The customization was amazing - the changes are seamless, the buildings are marked, and labeled in the same font as the rest of the map. They even cut it o the size I needed for the frame I had, which was not a standard size they offered. It fit perfectly.

It is so nice, and exactly what I wanted. What stands out most to me was the interaction - the customer service was out of this world and made the whole process so much easier. There is no way I could have gotten what I wanted without their help. They were patient and polite and offered really good advice.

The map came quickly, in perfect condition. It is exactly what the site said it would be on quality of material and artistry. I highly recommend them.

Company says established in 1984 but that is when the owner was born. Created in 2020 single owner and a lot of AI work used. Can quickly be proven by checking companies house. Do not trust this company.

I was at first apprehensive about purchasing a map on line but after an initial contact a guy called Sebastian contacted me directly on Whatsapp. He was really helpful, made some great suggestions and talked me through the options available. I wanted a large framed bespoke map but before I paid he sent me a draft of the map I requested for approval. It was super and was shipped and delivered in strong protective cardboard. It was a little expensive but a great service and lovely map, well worth it for the quality.
