Overall, refinancing process was good with a few hiccups.
The process is good. There were a few bumps, i.e., with the e-signing being asked to sign again a few things I’d already signed, being sent some paperwork to complete to confirm membership in my union which I completed & mailed & then was told it wasn’t needed, having to remove my deed from my Trust...WHY?? That added costs and my attorney said there was no reason to do so & no one could tell me why it was required. I’m still waiting for my recorded deed to be returned so I can get it back into the trust ASAP. Took longer than expected partly because of the holidays but in the meantime interest rates dropped so that worked out well.
Communication online was quite good BUT there were so many different people involved with lots of emails going back and forth that it was confusing so I just copied everyone because it wasn’t clear to me who was handling each part of the process.
People were friendly and responsive.
