What a fantastically run course. I have just completed the one week course (4 days tiling and 1 day business) and the confidence Henry (and Chris) gives you to feel able to go on to start earning a living with timing is great. Thoroughly recommend this course to anyone thinking about doing tiling for either starting a new career or just wanting to tile your own home. Ran like a well oiled machine.

I just completed a 9 day tiling coarse, I’m sorry I didn’t do the 13 day coarse.I really enjoyed the coarse it was a busy and very proactive coarse packed with loads of information and plenty of practical exercises to complete. I’ve left the coarse feeling very motivated and looking forward to the challenge Henry and Chris where a brilliant team together, very easily approachable and were very talented people there’s nothing they wouldn’t help you with.I’m so glad I used them as my training provider.

I have just completed the 13-day course and, having looked at the options, I could not be happier that I chose this company as the place to train. The course packed in so much information, and left me feeling ready to get started in my own business. Henry and Chris are so knowledgeable and, perhaps more importantly, both have the patience of saints and were there and supportive for all the obvious questions and silly mistakes beginners make. I've also asked a couple of questions since completing the course and Henry is totally there for the aftercare too. What a brilliant company.

An amazing course!!!

I have attended a number of courses through previous employment and this has been by far the most enjoyable. The knowledge and support that both Henry and Chris offer throughout the 13 day course has been great. There is a perfect balance between practical and theory so you can understand the processes behind different aspects of tiling.

I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a professional environment to learn and understand the world of tiling.

The best course I have ever been on! Henry and Chris were superb always there to give a help in hand if needed, they explained everything step by step very thoroughly. A great set up and very rewarding! Definitely going to be looking to return as only completed the 4 day intensive course but was 100% worth it! Sign up to the course I promise you won’t regret it!

A superb course from start to finish. Henry's attention to detail is inspiring coupled with his extensive knowledge. I did the 5 day course but wish I could have stayed longer, I plan on coming back to finish the other weeks.
You will be busy everyday with a lovely balance between theory and practical. Setting out, cutting, laying, all covered. The extra day allows for an in depth look at materials along with business development and natural stone.
Henry is an excellent teacher who will cater for all abilities.
I came over from Ireland, plenty of Air b&b's in the area. I hired a car from Bristol through green motion, £100 for the week and worth having.
I feel confident in tiling my own house now and will hopefully expand out to jobs for others.

"There isn't much to tilling" they say. Well they are wrong. And the best way to find out for yourself is to do at least the 4-day course at Expert Tilling. Henry and Chris are exceptionally good educators on top of their enormous practical experience and countless tips and tricks of the trade. The pair of them would make excellent teachers and any school should be proud to have them on their staff book. I did the 4-day course and this is my only regret! Given the opportunity I would have done the full 13-day course. Course runs Monday to Thursday with military precision. It starts at 8am on Monday and ends at 4pm on Thursday without a minute waisted. If I was to guess I would say 25% of the time is theory and demonstrations by Henry and Chris, while 75% is practical work where students work on their own little project mimicking average size bathroom. However theory and practice are mixed brilliantly so that each student has a chance to take a breather and then apply what was just shown and explained by the instructors. The course includes an invaluable manual that is yours to keep and use as a reference plus an after care where you can email Henry and seek advice as you embark on your tilling career.
As it turned out - sticking the tiles onto the wall or down to the floor is the easy part. There is a lot more into assesing the job, pricing it, and setting it out correctly so that you "know its end from the beggining".
So if you are wondering wether to do the course - as I did, then don't. It might be one of the best decisions you have made especially if you are considering a tilling career!

I had zero tiling experience, but signed up for the 13 day advanced/intensive course as part of a few courses I was doing to re-train to start a home refurbishment business. I have done a number of other courses and can hands down say this was the best of the bunch. Henry and Chris were fun, likeable and extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, they really pushed us as a group to work hard and to push ourselves for the weeks we were there. As a qualified plumber and carpenter, I wasn’t sure what to expect and how ‘easy’ I would find the course - I’m pleased to say it was very demanding, and I was knackered at the end of each day with a fresh appreciation for tilers and the work they do! Additionally, we left with great resources in the form of a thoroughly put together user manual, and both Henry and Chris were willing and patient in answering the million questions I had to add to these resources. I left with a lot more skills and confidence to tile than I could have imagined coming in and I would highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to take up tiling.

Just completed 4 day course from day one the theory and practical demonstrations excellent you are hands on from day one its a intense course you learn so much .Henry and Chris are so professional and helpful always having time for you answering any questions . I done the 2 week tiling course and learned a lot. Both the practical hands on tiling and also the business and knowledge side of tile. Henry and Chris explain things well making it easy to follow. Friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, ive never written a review for anyone in my life, regardless of how good the experience was! So to write this says a lot……

Henry and Chris - absolute diamonds the both of them, from minute one they made you feel good about being there & if there is anything in the tiling game that they don’t know about, it’s not worth knowing about! Both genuinely top, knowledgable blokes!

I just did the 3 week course and wasn’t 100% sure it would be long enough equip me with the confidence and ability to go alone, but I left with zero doubt that what they have taught me will leave me in a great position to make a success of it. Had a really good laugh with them too whilst learning!

There is much more to this course than laying tiles!

My advice would be just book it, I would do it all again!

Ladies and gents please do this course! I am not in the trade. I wanted this as an extra skill that allows me to be creative, and renovate my home with the best in class training.

Henry and Chris were absolute gents and provided a professional service from start to finish. No matter what level or experience you had, they were patient and attentive to supporting each individual. It was a pleasure to witness, as they demonstrated behaviours that cemented why this is an EXPERT tiling course.

The skills I have taken from this course are far beyond just tiling. It has opened my eyes into all elements of home renovation. Most of the tools I had never used before, and my inexperience and complete lack of knowledge felt welcome. I was taught how to handle tools and machinery safely which built my confidence ten-fold.
