Poor Customer Service, Poor Value for Money, Poor Communications
Poor Customer Service, Lack of Support resolving issues, Poor Communications, Overcharged for a Lock? UK Storage Company offer Discounts to Rent a Storage Unit paid up for one month but unable to provide a refund once notice period given as already discounted rate applied, you end up paying for 2 weeks when Storage Unit not being used? Poor Value for Money? Already had a Lock Barrel purchased from previous Storage visit this was never refunded or deducted from invoice no Refund or Credit applied. Unfortunately, I will not recommend the UK Storage Company and I will not use the UK Storage Company again ☹️

We would like to clarify that the promotional pricing period and associated terms are clearly set out within our Terms & Conditions, which are accessible at every stage of the customer journey, including on quotations, reservation forms and booking confirmations. We provide this information to ensure customers have full transparency regarding promotional rates, notice requirements and standard charges before committing to a booking.
Promotional discounts are offered in return for a minimum initial rental period and, as outlined in the Terms & Conditions, once the discounted rate has been applied and the storage agreement has commenced, the promotion cannot be retrospectively recalculated or refunded when notice is given. This is standard practice as the discounted rate has already been applied to the rental period.
Our customer support team is also trained to explain promotional offers, notice periods and payment arrangements when bookings are made over the phone, helping customers understand how the promotion works and what charges may apply during their stay. This approach is intended to ensure fair and consistent treatment for all customers while maintaining transparency around our pricing structure.
In relation to the lock charge, this is a one-off purchase made to help ensure the safety and security of customers' belongings whilst in storage. We do not charge an ongoing fee for the lock, and once purchased, it belongs to the customer and can be reused if they choose to store with us again in the future. The lock therefore remains of value beyond a single stay and forms an important part of the security measures we provide to protect customers' goods. If you purchased a lock from us previously, please contact our customer support team at your earliest convenience to confirm previous purchase!

Terrible company and appalling customer…
Terrible company and appalling customer service photo ID failed when using the app I called in and was advised I needed to send them photos of my ID and a selfie over email which is shocking in this day and age and I then asked if I could verify ID another way, the lady then said she could do an “online” check which we carried out and I was successfully verified except that mean I could never use their App (which in fairness I never wanted in the first place) to manage my account. Told the lady to cancel my storage booking and to refund my first month’s rent.
