Seaboard and go kart arrived faulty…

Seaboard and go kart arrived faulty despite contacting the company they have not attempted to refund or replace it, so my child has been left without their birthday present.
Although the company have since replied to this stating they have resolved the issue with the go kart and I have not replied regarding the faulty segboard, this is not the case. I have asked for a full refund and this has not been issued. Terrible service!

Hoverboard cart broke after a week

Hoverboard cart broke after a week , metal arm sheared off , lucky my child not injured , contacted them and told to buy collection pack to repair , paid this then heard nothing despite multiple emails
Board beeps and suddenly stops throwing my child off
I do not recommend

I wish I could give them a zero star

I wish I could give them a zero star. The worst customer service I ever encountered with. I bought a hoverboard in Oct 2023 recieved it after about 2 weeks , contacted them in January time because of noise from the board, took seven months for the warranty claim process. I received it back today but now missing bolt and nuts from the package. Sick of contacting them on phone and emails. Disgusting service. Will not recommend anybody to buy from them. Waste of money.

I have paid £30 for the service but…

I have paid £30 for the service but received none.
Hoverboard not collected for repair and diagnostic.
Many emails written but no reply.
Huge disappointment.

Broken item , no customer service

Purchased a segway kart broke within 2 days of my daughter using it, called so many times on hold for over a hour each time with no response, emailed with no response , sent instagram message with no response, then decided to read the instagram comments and wow looks like everyone has problems

Faulty Board - four months on still no refund!

We received a faulty Hover board on the 10th April. I am still in the process of getting a refund!!! Do not buy from this company!!
It has been absolutely appalling.
I ended up going to 3 different return shops to try and return the board. Each time the company had given me a different shop to try and each one wouldn't take the board.
Once the board was finally returned they confirmed that they would refund me - This has taken 4 months and I still don't have the money in my account.

There was no delivery notification

There was no delivery notification and I had to chase. I should not have to chase to find out when my item was due to be delivered. It was delivered.

WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. DON'T BUY!!

I wish I'd read the many other 1 star reviews on this site before purchasing. They all seem so familiar to our experience. They are not exaggerating. This is quite possibly THE WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I could write an essay on the extremely protracted, extremely stressful and upsetting process of dealing with this company but there's no need. Read the other one star reviews and believe them . In short though.... We bought two boards and carts for our kids for Christmas. They had a mind of their own and were extremely dangerous and then they just didn't work. Emailed the merchant and was told to send videos of the boards malfunctioning. We did this and were told to send them back. We did this but were then told there was nothing wrong with them and that we had damaged them so we could not have a refund. If you know the Consumer Rights Act then you know that our right to a refund is a no brainer. Not of satisfactory quality and returned within 30 days with evidence of dangerous malfunction. Instead they forced us to go through countless back and forth emails and numerous telephone calls all with them refusing any refund. In the end we got our bank (Thank you Monzo!) to pursue it for us. It took ages but in the end they got our refund for us. In the service of brevity I've missed out so much of this nightmare process which took 5 months to get our £550 back. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE PRODUCTS. WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE. THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CONSUMER RIGHTS AND ACT SHAMELESSLY IN THE HOPE THAT YOU WILL GIVE UP. SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF. DON'T TAKE THE RISK. ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ARE TRUE.

Edit…. I have just received the below reply from the merchant. It’s totally disingenuous. 1) They had 5 months to apologise and admit liability yet they failed to at any point. 2) There was no doubt that both hoverboards were faulty. We have video evidence that we supplied to our bank. This is what convinced them to take the case on. 3) It a joke to apologise for ‘not acting fast enough to resolve our issues’. They made no effort whatsoever to resolve the issues and had zero intention of doing so. We had to fight tooth and nail and they only argued and stonewalled.

Maybe some other customers do get lucky and receive a product that works. Judging from all the other poor reviews though, the problem is that when they don’t work (which appears to be frequent) the after sales service is diabolical, hostile and borderline illegal. That’s what ties all the bad reviews together. Don’t let the nicey, nicey reply below fool you. You won’t get any of that if you buy one of their malfunctioning products I can assure you.

Dreadful

Dreadful. Kart didn’t fit together properly and we were asked to pay postage for replacement fitting. Connectivity is inconsistent. Asked a knowledgable AV expert friend to look at it and he agreed it’s faulty. UK Segboards refuse to refund or replace. It’s essentially theft. Disappointed children here.

Item never sent, still awaiting a refund! Potential scam company

I have been charged for an item I never received. Apparently the bike helmet I ordered for my son was sent but lost by DPD, however I never recieved any tracking info and had to call. The helmet was no longer in stock, so they agreed to refund me. It’s been over a month and no refund. I’ve raised a claim with my card. Avoid the hassle, don’t loose your money by buying from this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We purchased a segboard with kart for my son’s bday, he is 12 years old. After our first use (as we have had one before) we knew the unit was faulty, kept beeping, and the front wheel on the kart kept hitting my sons foot on sharp turn alongside the seat being too high to push the handles comfortably all the way down (design fault in my opinion). After giving my feedback, many calls, emails, and general lack of communication and despite me trying to escalate they would never speak to me, only generic email. They will not refund my item, due to testing scratches and the fact I opened it 17 days after we took delivery. Very poor service.

Useless service do not buy from this company!!!

Bought a board and it broke after 6 months, reported and no one came back. Eventually got a response at Christmas time to send back via their chosen courier at a cost of £49.99. Board eventually picked up in January 2024, email to say it was faulty and would be fixed, another email to say it was on its way and would be delivered in 2 working days. Tracking number doesn’t work so give a call last tracking was 29th February 2024. I’ve called countless times and I am still no further forward. Shocking service, I’m out of pocket and have no board!! Absolutely fuming!!!!! One star is one too many
