this company should be shut down

12 days since I place an order for an important medication for my cat - I called once 6 days after placing the order and they hadn't even looked at it. Now 6 more days later the order still hasn't been shipped- I am trying to get hold of them again by phone, email and chat but nothing. They don't reply to emails, they don't pick up the phone. My cat has ran out of drugs and I will have to get it elsewhere hoping it'll get to me quicker

SO wish I had looked here this company should not be allowed to operate. AVOID at all costs. There is no way to check your order, no way to get hold of anyone, they say they offer on line chat - they do not, they never answer the phone. This company should not be trading.

Ordered a simple prescription and never got passed the review stage with zero communication.

Wish I had read reviews first, they do not answer calls or emails and no way to cancel other than these methods.

Disgrace of a service

Terrible company. Can’t get hold of anyone. Two weeks later and no prescription and we have run out of tablets for our dog. No one answers the phone or replies to emails. There are much better companies who deliver a good reliable service.

No communication and uncontactable
Ordered meds over a week ago. No communication since and in my account still waiting for review. Customer service phone line not answered, on line chat facility and enquiry form doesn't work. Emails unanswered. Avoid

The company are an absolute joke. Their website offers excellent service, great prices and helpful staff. Prices may be good if you can ever buy anything but any money potentially saved is written off through the time spent chasing for the items or for an update.

I’ve just spent over an hour trying to get an answer. A recorded message welcomes you and tells you he will put you through to one of their ‘friendly and helpful customer services team’ …… and that's as far as it gets. Phone rings and rings and rings and rings without even a recorded message allowing you to leave a message or even better, speak to an actual person on the end of the phone

It’s now 8 days since I placed my order online and this is still showing as ‘under review’ I need the medication urgently as I’ve an extremely ill dog who needs the Vit K1 to help her deal with liver cancer

I tried to call again three times this morning and eventually sent them an email registering my disappointment at their lack of response advising them that I’d be placing a review on here. Within minutes I had an update on my order to say …”this is a Prescription Only Medication and couldn’t be processed without a prescription”. Why in heavens name couldn’t they have the common decency to inform me of this soon as the order was placed ?? That way I could have sourced it elsewhere and it would be in my possession by now. As it is, I’m getting desperately low on this tablet. I need to find some from somewhere else..

I find this lack response completely unacceptable and completely thoughtless. Any orders placed with the likes of them will be for our pets and required urgently- for them not to bother to contact me is an absolute disgrace and I am seething. My dogs health are paramount and now I need to try and source the vitamin K1 elsewhere as a matter of urgency.

I WOULD ADVISE AVOIDING THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT DESERVE THE BUSINESS IF THEY CANNOT RESPOND TO CUSTOMERS REQUEST IN A TIMELY MANNER

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Absolutely appalling, it took 2 days and 10+ calls to the customer service line before anyone actually bothered to pick up, I suspect this was only done as I sent urgent emails and direct messages BEGGING someone to please respond to me about my dog's medication. The attitude on the phone when I did finally get through to "Ashley" was beyond shocking. I cancelled my order there and then, will NEVER use this website again. Given that this has clearly been an issue for a long time, with every single review on Trustpilot being 1* in 2025 so far, they truly couldn't care less about their customers, and have no business dispensing medication if they can't properly provide a customer service line. They should be ashamed to be this shoddy while dispensing medications!!

Wish I'd checked here first.
Taken ages since I uploaded the prescription, ordered and they took money and still waiting for a review of the order let alone delivery.
"Customer Service" phone never answered.
Plenty of other places to shop, dont bother with these cowboys.

Even 1 star is too much for this company! My vet uploaded a prescription in July that is valid until January 2026. I've ordered 3 months off there and the prescription on my account has disappeared. I'm not able to order anymore even though my Vet is saying there is another 4 months left. Don't bother ringing this company they don't answer the phone ever! I've sent 2 emails and no response. I am now left running around trying to get medication that my dog cannot be without from my Vet.
When you have an animal with medical needs you should not be doing things like this. I've been on the verge tears today trying to get this sorted.

Placed an order for a sick animal, 5 days later still no communication or any idea what was happening so I called and was told they hadn't even checked the prescription, complete waste of time I cancelled and went elsewhere, they didn't even apologise or care

Extremely slow service . Had to go to my vets to get more as waited nearly 2 weeks . Slow to approve initially then slow to deliver so o would not recommend

Tried to place an order as they were the cheapest but just kept getting and error message. Sent an email and tried to contact via their Facebook page but not reply. Obviously a very unreliable company.

Worst service ever, placed an order on Saturday for 7 pills for allergy with prescription.
Only late Tuesday this was approved to process and then taken them another 3 working days to dispatch.
Contacted with customer service and been given some story why it's taking so long which is completely unreasonable and unacceptable.
Still not delivered. Awfull service!

CANCER.

My dog has extensive, multiple advanced cancers.
Ukpetdrugs a veterinary online pharmacy has failed four times to deliver the drug Palladia, given to directly treat the cancers my 'Copper' is suffering from.
Subsequently, my dog continues to suffer without the drugs as promised by Ukpets.

The facts are:

1) despite them asking me where I would like the drug delivered and an alternative delivery option, they have failed to follow the instructions and have not delivered the order.

2) I have rung and emailed them on multiple occasions; To no avail.

3) They had emailed informing me that the package HAD been delivered - It had not.

4) Multiple trips by car to the delivery address was made - The drugs, AGAIN, were not there.

5) No apology has been offered.

6) 16 yes, 16 days late the drug was delivered.

Therefore, I leave it to you - Would you use this company?
Take my advice and stay well clear! As long as they use YODEl they are best avoided.

Absolutely awful service. No communications. Don't ever use this company.

Ordered a week ago, no communication since ordering, customer service number isn’t clear at all on website, and as their name is very similar to a more reputable company it’s hard to find info. I’ve got no idea on the status of my order, delivery is meant to be within 5 days. My dog will soon run out of medication and I don’t want to risk this so I will have to start my order from scratch with a more reliable (though more expensive) company and pay a huge next day delivery fee for it to arrive by Tuesday. This is the first time using uk pets and will definitely be my last, for the sake of a few less pounds it’s just not worth it for something as important as POMs, I’ve never had a problem with any alternatives I’ve used. I’m really hoping cancelling my order and getting a refund won’t be too complicated, according to the website you can do this up until a certain stage, as I have not had any communication about reaching any stage I presume I’m still within my cancellation period. I only wish I could bill them for the excessive cost of now necessary fast delivery for a new order I now have to place.
Understandable there can be delay issues but it’s the lack of communication and order status that is frustrating.
Would not recommend.

Got my pet prescription from here, was really cheap but delivery was slow.

The reviews below are interesting to me because I was just commenting to my partner how excellent and reliable the service is. I have used this site for the past 3 years now and always received swiftly. When the product is out of stock, the customer service team have been so helpful giving me confidence and advising if I need to get the product elsewhere (national shortage). I have learnt the importance of leaving enough time when ordering for there to be issues either with stock or delays getting the required prescription from the vets. Once dispatched delivery is also fast. So this has been my experience!

Appalled by this company, I put my prescription in within the allotted time on the script, the day prior to it running out UKpets sent an email which cannot be responded too, saying that due to circumstances they were unable to complete my order in time.
This means I now have to pay again to my Vet for another prescription. This business did not say at time of accepting order they had a problem with ability to supply, and they waited it appears until the last day to tell me they could not fulfill.
They are either working with large Vet practices to ensure that prescriptions run out, or they are not paying their suppliers in time. Clearly there is a problem with the operation, and their is zero customer service. I suggest this is a business to be avoided at all costs.

For some considerable time, I could not fault them. The past few months things have changed considerably. Orders have been slow to be processed. Now as they cannot process my order in two weeks, they have refused my order and told me I need to get another prescription from my vet. If they had adequate staff and had processed my order within a day or two of receipt it would have been well within the prescription validity period. I will not be using UK Pet Drugs again.
