GetScanned is a booking platform for private medical scans in the UK. We arrange MRI, Full-Body MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray scans at over 200 CQC-registered scanning centres, with appointments usually available within a few days. Private scans need a referral, and most people don't have one. That's the part we handle. Every booking includes a GP consultation, where a doctor reviews your symptoms, confirms which scan is right for you, and issues the referral the scanning centre needs. If you already have a referral from your own GP or a consultant, you can use that instead. Our team coordinates the rest. We confirm your appointment with the centre, explain how to prepare and what to bring, and stay contactable throughout. Your images are read and reported by a consultant radiologist, and your report is typically returned within 3 working days. If you'd like to talk your results through with a doctor afterwards, we can arrange a follow-up GP consultation. One price covers your consultation, referral, scan and report, with nothing added afterwards. Prices vary by scan type, body part and location, and are shown before you book alongside appointment availability. If you find the same scan cheaper at the same clinic, advertised publicly, we'll match the lower price. Scans available through our network cover areas including the head and brain, spine, knees, shoulders, hips, abdomen and pelvis. We work with individual patients, clinicians, medical reporting organisations and rehabilitation providers - anyone who needs diagnostic imaging arranged quickly and without a wait. Lessons require learning - and since have been

Sadly, error after error, despite paying a hefty fee for private service. Poor comms and poor management of expectations. It would have been one star, however, they were trying to get it right - and did sort out another discussion with doctor after they had unfortunately fouled up with providing him with scan and report docs for the first call.
Also - one person tried to take ownership, but support to them was disappointing / non-existent.

Upgraded to 4 stars after calls to me to make good the mistakes made. Head of Ops was very good in wanting to understand the process failures as welll as to refund and over-charge and compensate for the inconvenience.

Fast and convenient service

Website was easy to use, found the service I needed and made the appointment request. The rest was set up by text and a phone call with a doctor, followed by my MRI. I got my scan quicker than expected too, which was a bonus.

I'd injured my knee, I knew it was bad and something tore, I went to urgent care and was fobbed off by the "professional fobber offer". After 4 weeks of pain and zero improvement, I decided to get my own MRI, I prefer science to guesswork. Honestly, if you know you have a problem, you know, just scrape up your cash and get it done! Now I'm waiting on a referral through my Dr.

I can't recommend it enough, if you're thinking about forking out for a scan, you're worried, so go get it done, it's quick and easy with GetScanned, and you don't really need to pay another 50 quid to talk about it after, just get your images and report and submit your results to your GP or whomever, they'll tell you about it.

The service was very good, I'm happy I got it done, I'm going to be hobbling about for a long time I'm sure, but at least I know I was right and I know what the problem is.

Professional and friendly service

From start to finish, using Get Scanned was a pleasant and professional experience. Everyone I spoke to was warm, approachable, helpful and communication was fantastic. The whole experience has been very efficient and I am very pleased. I would highly recommend.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Made getting an MRI for my knee a very simple process. Their ongoing communication was excellent and they helped me get access to my report and all scan images very quickly.

I Booked a CT scan on the Sunday, spoke to a GP on the Monday and was scanned on the Wednesday.

I really appreciated the support from each and every person with who I was involved from start to finish.

So quick and very helpful

So quick and very helpful
When I was told by my GP a MRI scan was a 3 months wait plus another 6 weeks for the report I panicked. No way could I be in this pain amount for so long. Even my GP asked if I could go Private! Looking on the web I came across Get Scanned. Such an easy process to navigate through I managed to secure a scan only a few days away. Yes my hubby had to drive me to a scanner in the next County but that was a small price to pay.
This company was terrific. Kept me informed about everything, secured a scan date and time, spoke with a doctor to find the reason for the scan and the scan process itself was so easy. Everyone I spoke to or came face to face with along the way were lovely kind and thoughtful. Also they were very competitive with the price.
I would strongly recommend this company if you need a private scan

Quick and efficient MRI scan.

A good choice of available appointments.
Good communication from administrative and medical staff throughout.
Professional and friendly staff on phone and at scanning session. The procedure was explained and opportunity given for questions.
Price reasonable in comparison to other scanning businesses. Easy access to the MRI unit and parking was available.
The report came within the specified time.
The scanning session was comfortable and supported well by the technician.
