We bought a 72 hour package to improve our grade 12 student's psa and sat scores. Steve was a very helpful tutor. Her score went up. My daughter enjoys his teaching style.

Found them on via online search. It takes a couple of days before they can get you scheduled. Unfortunately, after being scheduled, our tutor called in sick that day of tutoring she did, however, offer a virtual lesson which we took advantage of. We scheduled another session and the Tutor confirmed with both myself and my daughter the day of the session she would be here, but unfortunately she no-show no called. Sadly, we had a big test the very next day so you can imagine how disappointing and obviously unprofessional this was. I contacted the company. They were unable to provide a replacement within an acceptable timeframe. I requested a refund which took about 20 minutes to get done. Very disappointing experience.

We only been doing the program a short time but in this short time we are grateful for my son’s tutor. He has ADHD and Zoe is by far very, patient and understanding. We appreciate her so much Thank you!!!!

Our tutor Xaviera was very professional, just listening to how she was helping my granddaughter was amazing. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who needs tutoring! After meeting with her for 2 hours, my grandchild's teacher took notice and told me how much she had improved in such a short time period. We hope to meet with Xaviera again someday!

Terrible customer service: rude and not client centric at all. Unreliable and just not worth it. Do not use their services.

Only good thing about this company is Brian. He has excellent customer service skills. Other than that, I had nothing but issues repeatedly. I had multiple issues with no show tutors and rude representatives on the phone. If it weren’t for him and his kindness I would give 1 star.

Not a good experience so far and will update if it works out. I was not told that I could not get a refund for unused hours. Purchased 16 hours and only used 2 hours. Paid $1152 for the hours! I can't believe what they are telling me that I may not get this money back because it has to be requested 30 days after the last payment.. what? This is the first to hear this. I can't believe a company would do this...So mislead. Just found out I could have purchased individual hours which makes way more sense for our situation. That was definitely not told to me. Hopefully I hear back as told and something can be worked out.

Horrible! They have no moral, ethical business model. They screw their tutor to get a buck. They do not pay you directly for time submitted and they just don’t care. Is run by teenagers.

I liked the two tutors well enough, but I had to cancel. I texted and emailed and asked for my money back.

They owe me $536 - and crickets.

Please, Tutor Hero, give me my money back.

I had a decent a tutor for awhile until she stopped showing up and basically eventually quit tutoring my kiddo. However tutor hero itself is a SCAM do not believe them when they say you have hours that roll over, its a lie! I paid thousands of dollars only in the end when the tutor quit for them to tell me I have no hours on the books which was a lie!!!!! SAVE your money. Its sad because I felt bamboozled but I'm so tired of the constant lies and back and forth with them, its literally draining. Do not do it.

This company operates through several different names. Their website will appear local with local phone numbers. They may be legitimate, but it didn't work out for me.
I have been working hard to complete my college degree while working full-time. I am a single mom. I saved the Accounting class for last because it is my weakest subject, and I needed genuine tutoring help to get through test preparation. I paid $288 for 2 weeks of tutoring (2 hrs a week). Unfortunately, they did not provide any tutoring services. they tried, but the tutor did not contact me. So I got a terrible test grade and am out of nearly $300. Please, what did I do to deserve this?

EDIT: they did finally contact me and promised to provide a refund. I will update when I receive it.
