My experience working with Turner Book Writers for book publishing was mediocre. Although their staff helped me along the way the task took longer than I had anticipated. Although responses were occasionally delayed communication was generally good. Although the book was finished correctly in the end the procedure could have gone more smoothly.

I had a mediocre experience with Turner Book Writers services although the team was helpful and the job was passable there were a few areas were it might have been improved a respectable service all around but it could be better.

I thought Turner books was a reputable name and that’s the reason why I chose this company to publish my book.

I had a great experience with the team in the very beginning of the fall in 2023. My project manager was Anna and Bella. She did such a great job and she told me my book was going to be a great hit. She said she could see everybody wanting to buy it and then she said her distributor would like to purchase 700 copies @$5 /book which I would have to pay before Christmas. I felt sick to my stomach but I trusted her ( first mistake). I spent $4000 on 700 copies, but she said that they were going to go into bookstores and they are going to be printed from their distributing warehouse and I believed her.
That team unfortunatelywas let go the following January. Then I had a new project manager named Kevin and then I had a new project manager named Steve and then I had a new project manager named Peter and now I’m back to Steve in 2026.

I asked for a contract in 2024 and they sent it with lots of mistakes and missing sections. I asked for them to send me back another contract that had the added sections and all the correct info but instead there were more mistakes and the contract came back to me two months later. I asked them to fix the mistakes. They sent me back the contract with more mistakes. I sent it back with feedback and areas to fix and I have not heard from them since.

I have not seen one copy of the 700 copies I had bought. I have not received any revenue from that book and I have asked for a refund. They said the books have already been printed and I can’t get a refund.

When I asked to see the books printed I was ghosted.
I have not heard from them in over seven months. I have sent message after message asking them to sign the contract with no response.

I would not go with this company I would run like hell. They need to work on their contract writing skills, their communication skills and customer service skills.

Fakers. No business in Tennessee! Check it out before you sign on!

They will not set up for authors in New Zealand it was very complicated and protracted. I wouldn’t use them again at this stage after i paid fee they couldn’t get my stories name RE:NA and ut had to be changed to RENA was pretty disappointed

At the suggestion of the Tennessee state attorney general and the better business bureau, a complaint has been filed with the FBI. They have no office in Tennessee.

While they were reasonably prompt in replying to emails, the actual delivered services were quite lacking. I was promised text editing, book cover design, formatting for publication, and an author’s copy. Editing was acceptable, although they missed a number of mistakes that I found later. The book cover design was a painful process with 9 rounds of back and forth of my comments that were mostly ignored, until I gave up on trying to get the cover design from Turner Writers. The formatting was heading that way also, until I realized that this would be a repeat of the cover design experience and did it myself. I am still waiting for the author’s copy that was promised to be delivered a month ago. I have sent multiple inquiries to Peter Anderson about the delivery date, and got several statements that the book was on its way, that it was almost on its way, there was an issue with printing, etc., in that order. I have also cc’ed Adam Kahn who sold me the service package, with no response. Very poor return on investment of time and money.

It was my debut book, and Turner's Book Writers made my dream come true. After facing numerous rejections and negative feedback, I was unsure of my next steps. However, the support and encouragement I received from Turner's Book Writers were incredible. My project manager, Steve Wilson, made the entire journey easy with his endless patience for my countless questions. The overall experience was both seamless and wonderful. Thank you so much for your exceptional support and expertise throughout this process. I look forward to working with you again.

I have been working with Steve and a few others from your company but mostly Steve Wilson. I feel lucky that Steve has been there for me and I feel that he is looking after my best interest. From the results that I have seen, it is clear that Steve appears to be micromanaging my book and the marketing to a point of success. I would absolutely refer your company and Steve to anyone who whishes to bring a dream or an idea to life. Please give my heartfelt thanks to Steve and to your company for the professionalism and dedication to my book.

Since this was my first experience, I was not sure how to go about the process. I chose Turner Publishing because of its good reviews. Steve first helped me through the process, then Peter. Both were very helpful though it was confusing at times. There were some obstacles, but we got through them. I would recommend them and use them again. I am in hopes we get a great response on my book as they were all so helpful and encouraging.

Project Manager Peter Anderson is the reason for my 5 star review! His timely communication responses, his round the clock personal efforts, and his credibility were all on display in the final stretch of the publishing cycle for my Book. Peter did what he said he would do and my Book was delivered in time for my important Family reunion as he promised! 5 stars for you Peter and my sincere thanks for all your fine efforts. It was a pleasure working with you on my Book!!

Zayn Romano was an excellent project manager throughout my experience with Turner Book Writers. He was always responsive and returned my calls promptly. Initially, I found the editing process a bit tricky, but with his guidance, I quickly got the hang of it and moved smoothly through the manuscript. If I take on another writing project, I’ll definitely request Zayn as my coordinator!

Turner Book Writers not only helped published my book but also designed a stunning author website. It perfectly captured my brand and was easy to navigate. Their team made the process effortless and enjoyable!

Turner Book Writers delivered exceptional quality in printing my book. The final product exceeded my expectations, with vibrant colors and crisp details. Their attention to every aspect of the process was truly impressive!

Steve Wilson and his staff at Turner Book Writers did a fantastic job of guiding me through the self publishing process. They walked me through all of the steps in the publishing process. They provided me with questionaire forms so I could input my preferences on book size and type. They asked what I would like on the book's cover and what colors to use. They delivered it all just right and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Do not waste your time and money on this company—this is a known scam. The "store" on their website takes you to the bookshop of Turner Publishing Company (a real independent publisher), and none of the books on the Turner Book Writers website match the ones on the Turner Publishing page. Start googling the books they say they published. Quick example: Dead Girls Can't Tell Secrets by Chelsea Ichaso was actually published by Sourcebooks Fire, not Turner Book Writers. Their about page claims they've been in the industry for years, so why are all of their reviews on here only from 2023 and 2024? Turner Book Writers will take your money and ghost you.

DO NOT USE THIS "HACK" Company. All of these reviews are probably "written" by their ghost writers. Don't make the mistake I made. Ask them how many book have they published , sold or stole for profit. They couldn't write a chapter, even after giving them the easy lay up outline. They say 100% satisfaction guaranteed. So when I wasn’t satisfied they posted my partially written book on Amazon for profit. I'm thankful to the NEW company I'm with. Very professional, can write, does listen. Take my advice & repeat my title in your head before contacting them. Check them thoroughly. Main office Cali, Legal is Nashville, TN. They tried to copyright part of my book. This is my 2nd post.
