Clive is hands down the best instructor to go for if you want a quick and easy pass, he always makes you feel at ease during lessons and makes sure you are constantly building up your confidence on the road. He is extremely clear on what the examiners want from you and always doubles down on your weaknesses so that come test day, you will 100% pass. Clive is versatile and is happy to work around your schedule where possible, and always tries to help his students by getting test days better for them! Even through lockdown interrupting our lessons and delaying my test, Clive was quick to restart lessons and get a test booked asap, with the transitions being so smooth that it didn’t feel like I had stopped taking lessons at any point. On my test day Clive made sure I was mentally prepared and didn’t go in worried or over-confident

Clive from Tuga Driving School is AMAZING ! If you want to pass FIRST TIME with NO MINORS then Clive is the guy you want. I cannot begin to explain how fantastic Clive is as an instructor, he makes you feel at ease when driving and his knowledge is undefeated! I would 10000000% recommended Clive he will also be the person I am doing my motor way lessons. Again I cannot stress how fantastic Clive at Tuga Driving School is. Clive is BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR!!!! Got me a pass in 3 days of driving (15hours), he got my practical test date changed to the day before lockdown 2 and got me my PASS PLUS certificate same day right after the test. Highly Recommended.

I've recently started driving lessons again and Clive, from Tuga driving school, has been nothing but amazing. He is incredibly patient and understanding towards those with anxiety or really bad nerves. He has a very easy going, confident personality which helps with my learning as I feel reassured with his teaching methods. Hoping to pass first time..

First time out on the road and I was quite nervous to start my lessons as I’d put them off for so many years. However, Clive was awesome! I felt calm and confident behind the wheel by the end of my lesson. He’s a great instructor, giving very clear and simple instructions. Never once did he over complicate things and made me feel completely at ease. I enjoyed driving so much more than I thought I would and I achieved so much in my first lesson. Can’t wait to get behind the wheel again. I would highly recommend Clive to anyone who is looking to learn fast and efficiently whilst building confidence behind the wheel. He pushed me to learn but never made me feel panicked or alone in the car. 5 stars!

For a few years now I had been with BSM and drivejohnsons and honestly felt like giving up, the lessons were going too slowly and I didn’t feel as if I was progressing as well as I did with tuga driving school, as well as this it started to get expensive. As a Critical Worker it was important for me to pass my driving test as soon as possible as I need to travel for work reasons.
Luckily I was able to get an emergency driving test and Clive from Tuga driving school was up and ready to teach me and get me prepared for my test.
Clive is a lively person and really made me feel confident in my driving skills as well as that his way of teaching is very chill which is exactly what I needed since I am a very nervous person. He gave me tips and pointers in places I needed to improve.
Within 10 hours of lessons with Clive I had passed my emergency test at Mitcham.
I highly recommend tuga driving school for both new and experienced drivers, I will never forget him.

just by speaking with clive on the phone blew my mind that he will be my instructor but being in the car with him for few minutes built my confidence and gave me the assurance that I'm in safe hands cause of his exceptional communication skills makes driving easy hes just charmazing

Clive is a very confident instructor. I took lessons previously from other instructors but by far he’s the best!!! On my first lesson I started off on a quiet road then started driving on main roads, round abouts, going over the bridge. He’s very good at what he’s doing and worth paying for. The amount of confidence I gained from one lesson is unbelievable. I’m really looking forward to the rest of my lessons with him.

After learning for years (and failed twice) with other driving instructors, I was getting very disheartened about continuing to learn and have another failed test under my belt. Luckily I found tuga, spoke to clive about my experience and got my lessons booked in within a couple of weeks (I work long hours and clive was very accommodating in getting me convenient slots).

Clive was extremely patient, calm and supportive, making my whole driving experience an absolute joy!!

After 4 driving tests with a previous school I have finally passed with Clive, he built my confidence back up and got me to the level I am at now. He was very easy to get along with so you never felt uncomfortable would recommend to anyone!

I had my mind set on passing on Automatic transmission when I first started driving. Then I had my lesson with Clive, who showed my the mechanic and how easy and fun it is. Clive was very supportive and calm, which made me really comfortable and at ease. I was driving on Brixton Road on my first lesson and felt totally in control. After using a couple of other local instructors and finding their cars ran down and old, their techniques unhelpful or badly taught i had almost given up.
Thankfully on a last attempt at finding a decent instructor i called Tuga driving school and had my first lesson within a week with John.

An excellent instructor with a brand new hybrid car that will spoil you as its a dream to drive.
John was always on time, always professional and taught great manoeuvres consistently. He knows when to go easy on you and when to be stern, pushing you to be better.

When you learn with John you dont learn just to pass your test, you learn to be a good driver.

Learning how to drive dragged out longer than I wanted due to my previous instructors poor teaching techniques. I was getting frustrated and felt I was investing too much into it. I had done over 30 hours and still not test ready and was ready to give up on manual gear and turn to automatic. I found Tuga driving school online and was referred to Clive. He is one of the best teachers of seen. I am 6’3 tall and he saw that my sitting position was too forward and affecting my clutch control and changing gears. I had used at least 3 other instructors and nobody told me this. After we had made the adjustments and pushed my seat further back to allow more space for my legs, there was instant improvement. This is what made me more confident going into the test. Another advantage with Clive that he is flexible with time and can do lessons for people who work late. He got me test ready in about 18 hours and I passed first time.
