Kundenservice eine Katastrophe. Vertrag abgeschlossen und nix läuft! Keiner will einem helfen. Wimmeln einen nur ab. Sicher eine Betrügerfirma!

This is a SCAM ! Beware.
I’m in france. Subscribed for a full year data plan for my Apple Watch. Couldn’t make it work with a normal set up on my watch. So I’ve asked for a refund ( the law in Europe gives us 14 days to ask for a refund without any reason, it’s actually even written on their own website ) . I’ve asked for the refund just a few hours after I’ve paid. And after dozens of emails, they now pretend not having read the email back then, and won’t give me a refund. Keep saying they close the ticket even though the problem wasn’t solved at all. This is a well organized scam and I will not let it go.

Zuerst: Kann nichts zum Support sagen - habe ihn nicht benötigt. Und auch keine automatische Verlängerung genutzt.

TL;DR:
+ Direkte Bezahlung und Aktivierung aus My Truphone App.
- Speed eher soso. Kann aber dran liegen, dass Vodafone hier bei mir eine wesentlich schlechtere Abdeckung hat, als der "Marktführer".

Meine Use Cases:

1. Vorbereitung / Test für Providerwechsel auf meinem iPad (da wird es bestimmt ein paar Tage ohne Internet geben). Aus den Apple Einstellungen 1 Monat gebucht. Funktioniert klaglos, aber (wenigstens hier in Berlin Schöneberg, wo ich bei der Telekom 500 Mbit bekomme) per Vodafone ein wenig langsam und nur mit LTE, nicht 5G, ca. 63 down und 6 up und 80ms Ping. Auch Personal Hotspot funktioniert.

2. Temporärer Internetzugriff für neues (naja, gebrauchtes) iPhone, da SIM aus altem 34€ Nokia "Featurephone" nicht in das iPhone passt. Buchung über "My Truphone" App hat - mit ein wenig Verzögerung - funktioniert. BTW: Auch das iPhone (SE 2020) selbst ließ sich problemlos ohne SIM vollständig per WLAN einrichten - vergessen Sie alles, was Sie an bedrohlichen Work-Arounds per Google im Internet finden. Und auch hier funktioniert der Personal Hotspot mit Truphone.

Purchased an esim after emailing a few times back and forth to make sure it would work on my phone and suit my needs. When I got to my country, the sim did not work. I emailed them, and they replied once and once only, with instructions set for a smartphone scientist. I had 4 people try and make the esim work, I emailed thru phone every day for 6 days and no reply.
Disgusting.
I will be doing a chargeback for this product as what I purchased I was assured would work, and what I got did not work.

I was moving across the U.S. and needed to do some online banking during my weeklong travel. Purchased eSIM for my iPad with cellular. Was able to connect and verify at my home in CA. Travelled across 8 states and was never able to connect again. Their “award winning support” is via email, where they will get back to you within a day or two. They have never been able to help me. There may be application where this works, but for me it was a complete failure.

Nachdem wir Truphone in einer Apple Watch ca. 2 Jahre nutzen konnten, ist eine weitere Nutzung nach einem Apple Watch Wechsel nicht möglich!
Wir haben bereits seit 2 Monaten einen Service Case offen und trotz mehrmaligen nachfragen. Wird uns immer nur bestätigt, man arbeitet an dem Case.
Die Karte ist zum telefonieren nicht nutzbar. Ausschließlich Datenverkehr funktioniert.
Sehr schlechter Service! Kann Truphone nicht empfehlen!

Sehr mühsam, Zahlungen werden von dee Karte abgebucht, danach trotzdem keine Daten aufgeladen, es kommt „hoppla es ist etwas schiefgelaufen“ als Fehlermeldung. Erreichen kann man niemanden, die in der App hinterlegte support Mailadresse ist ungültig!

My emails to Customer Support are now being blocked by Truphone. I have been chasing them for 6 months to refund money of mine. Thery say it is being done, constantly, and then nothing ever happens. Their pursuit of this issue is frankly apalling...

My girlfriend and I have used Truphone for nearly a year now whilst we travel through Central America. The country options are superb and connectivity is nearly always excellent. The customer service team has helped me with a couple of issues I had and resolved all of my issues. I'd recommend Truphone vs. alternatives like Airalo. The service is better and it's easy to manage.

If you're travelling the world, Truphone is a great solution to accessing the internet wherever you are and I will continue using it as we continue our way through South America.

They conveniently forgot to highlight that should you not use their services for 180 days then they terminate your service and do not refund any balance that you may have left!!!! Totally unacceptable and theft 🤬🤬🤬👎👎👎👎

Hanno chiuso il settore consumer e mi hanno disattivato la SIM senza preavviso trattendosi il credito in essere senza neanche fare finta di chiedermi se per caso lo avessi voluto indietro.

Wij zitten al bijna 2 maanden te wachten op een terug storting van een creditnota. We zijn namelijk overgestapt. Gemaild, en diverse keren gebeld.
Dit tot op heden zonder resultaat.

data plan does not work when crossing into Germany. Non-existent support.

TRUPHONE will steal money from your account long after your service has been cancelled. I cancelled all services with them in September 2022 and they continued to take funds from my account right through to March 2023. I have been trying for 2 months to get them to refund and they just take you in circles and won’t pay the money back. Terrible company to deal with!

Ich war super zufrieden bis zu dem Tag als ich mein Iphone wechselte. Keine Chance die Guthaben zu übernehmen! Keine. Die Anleitung funktioniert nicht, Support existiert nicht!

Appalling customer service! Forced to use Truphone on family share Apple Watch. Bought prepaid annual plan which would not activate, wasted a week on back and forth emails with customer service (they kept closing the ticket without resolving the issue). After 3 months the Apple Watch stopped working and was replaced, and can’t get the plan to transfer to new watch. Have had zero response from customer “service” other than to send me a “simple link” which naturally didn’t work! SORT OUT THIS PRoBLEM WITH YOUR PRODUCT , TRUPHONE! PLEASE RESPOND

Schneller Kauf des Global Paketes mit 5 GB. Habe es über 3 Wochen in Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico und den USA genutzt.
Es hat super funktioniert. Bei der Ankunft im neuen Land dauerte die Einbuchung in ein neues Netz nur kurze Zeit.
Alles Super! Gerne wieder.

Not working at all even down town.

Used their esim for mobile data in Czech Republic (Praha) and Australia. Excellent value especially sharing the point with my partner with iPhones. However, usual issue outside towns and cities that the Australian regional network is essentially a Telstra monopoly and Truphone are partnered with Vodafone I think. So had to buy cheap Telstra SIm for emergencies.

Dienst met eSim en data voor the U.S. afgenomen (5Gb). Binnen 2 minuten op mijn iPhone kunnen installeren. Prijs veel beter (-55%) dan via Nederlandse provider.
