My experience with Troylee Designs has been extremely disappointing. The company has proven difficult to contact, and when I did manage to raise a genuine warranty issue, the response lacked professionalism and accountability.
I reported a fault with a £220 helmet in which a nylon screw sheared and could not be removed because the threaded insert within the helmet spins freely, making extraction impossible. Rather than addressing what appears to be a clear manufacturing or design defect, Troylee Designs attempted to invalidate the warranty by blaming the installation of a head camera mounted below the visor—despite this having no relevance to the failure. After disputing this reasoning, the company has since gone silent and has not responded despite numerous follow-up requests.
This approach suggests an attempt to avoid responsibility rather than resolve a legitimate customer concern. Given the premium pricing of their products, this level of aftersales support is unacceptable. It is also concerning that Troylee Designs do not appear to respond to negative Trustpilot reviews, which indicates a lack of engagement with customer feedback.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to consider alternative brands that offer better customer service, clearer warranty support, and a genuine commitment to standing behind their product. Zero star company
My experience with troyleedesigns.eu has been entirely negative. The store engages in misleading and unfair practices, deceiving customers about the possibility of returning purchased items. Although their website clearly states that returns are possible, in reality, this process is practically impossible to complete.
I purchased a high-value cycling helmet with delivery to Poland. The item turned out to be too small, so I followed the store’s return procedure. I received a DPD label which, as it turned out, cannot be used to send parcels from Poland.
From that moment, the communication became a series of incompetent and absurd replies, apparently written by a chatbot that completely ignores the content of the messages. Each response was a generic, meaningless statement — it’s hard to believe any human customer service agent could respond in such a thoughtless way.
Despite repeated attempts to contact the store for over a month, I have not received a single clear answer about whether I can return the product at my own expense or to which address it should be sent. Eventually, the communication stopped entirely.
This level of ignorance, disorganization, and disrespect toward customers is unacceptable. Such practices should be reviewed by consumer protection authorities, and I have therefore reported the issue to the Consumer Rights Ombudsman.
However, if the store wishes to resolve this matter in a professional way, I remain open to direct contact regarding my order EU-16864. I am still willing to settle this calmly — provided that a real customer service representative, not an automated bot, handles the communication.
In conclusion – I strongly advise against shopping at troyleedesigns.eu. The lack of responsibility, order, and genuine customer support makes this store one to avoid at all costs.
Ordered a helmet, paid for Helmet, next day I receive to say cancelled with no other explanation.
Emailed and was told helmet no longer available even though it still says available online!
Taken £200 out of my account but not refunded. Really not good at all. Very disappointing.
I have purchased 3 new items from troy lee designs. The two jerseys are great size but quite thick and clingy, but the shorts were useless.
The single popper early pops off. The zipper works it's way down on its own and you continually get told flies are undone. The pockets are so small I can't get my hand in them. The velco straps are so weak they won't hold tight.
Compaired to my 2018 troy lee clothes the recent clothing are sub standard.
It's been so bad I will have to try another brand.
Your full face helmets don't fit either, you can't make a helmet to fit over the head as the chin guard is smaller than the head size you want to fit inside.
My honest opinion from using troy lee designs are that they have tried to save money and now made a great product terrible now.
Not good.

I've never get my order. The said "we check the warehouse" and nothing happened. I asked again and again and again. Now they said "sorry its sold out". They have my money for weeks and nothing happened. What a scam!!!
Like others really wish I read these reviews before buying. Order not sent, no one picks up the phone. It was my sons birthday present and now he has nothing. After a long time I got one email saying they will check the warehouse which I see now they say to others. I don’t think I am getting my item which was very expensive. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs
They are a scam company. They sent me the wrong item - they would not sent me a correct one and no refund was issued. They don't pick up the phone. They say they will be checking with the warehouse but this is clearly a lie as they will keep you waiting for months until you contact them again. I just wished I have red the previous reviews before I bought anything from them. Avoid at all costs!!!!
Disgusting service, I strongly advise to avoid at all costs!! Still not received order when it says it’s been delivered, very very worried if il get my goods or money back.
They sent wrong order to me. They don’t answer their customer service help line or respond to emails. Email is the stated method for initiating a return on the order slip. Left voice message twice on their helpline, which said they would get back. They didn’t.
Eventually found another method on their website to request a return. Printed label and took to post office where I was told it was not a valid code.
A total shambles from start to finish and I am out of pocket for the items. Astonishingly poor customer service from such a well known brand.
Ordered 3 youth chest protectors as the sizing guide was not that clear. The delivery was very smooth, however the returns is turning out to be farce. Having followed the returns instructions and dispatched the items, Troy Lee are now saying they have not received them. They are not responding to email or phone calls to resolve the situation leaving me considerably out of pocket.
Excellent service from this company. Ordered a top which was too big, emailed for a return and they contacted me straight back with a link. Scanned the return label at post office and within a few hours my refund was processed. Re-ordered the same top in smaller size and received a day and a half later Christmas week. Thank you!
J’ai retourné sous garantie le Gilet de Protection Troy Lee Designs UPV3900 noir Code: TL-514003206 (Demande en garantie W00050171) au vendeur Deporvillage. Il n’était pas possible de porter ce gilet car le matériau d’absorption des chocs est fait d’une maille dont les fibres pointues dépassent et piquent à travers la peau. Je souhaitais que TLD m’en renvoie un sans ce défaut. Après 5 relances et 3 mois passé de ma part (roulant sans protection) sans retour de TLD, j’ai demandé le remboursement à Deporvillage. Cela a précipité les choses et j’ai reçu après 3 mois une réponse de TLD en forme de refus de garantie. Ils ont prétexté « que le défaut décrit n'est pas couvert par la garantie. Le matériau ne présente pas de défaut de couture ou de motif. S'il n'y a pas de défaut ou de vice de fabrication, la garantie ne s'applique pas".» Hors, il y a vice de fabrication ou de conception. C'est profondément décevant. Je n'achèterai plus jamais des produits TLD

Ordered an item and it has been passed the delivery date but still no shipping confirmation.
Lost count on the amount if times I've rang the service team and not for though l, also left emails but no reply
I bought an SE5 Mips composite MX helmet directly from TLD UK, for BMX use, as it was in the sale and £40 cheaper than elsewhere: £239/ 399 rrp.
An MX helmet is heavier and more than really needed for BMX, but having smashed myself in one crash when young, I will be 1000% safe with this on.
I sent my item back 10 months ago. Still no refund. Spent 100's of pounds on Troy Lee clothing and their customer service is a SHAMBLES. I've given them new bank details, they ignore me for 30 days more..they really want me to leave it so they can keep my £109. That's not going to happen. Disgraceful customer service
Awesome designs but poor customer service
Tried to contact customer service about a issue with some boots I had bought a couple of months earlier and have heard nothing back. Contacted them via chat service twice and had no reply, also phoned them and left a voice message as the call goes straight to a pre recorded message. Seems there is no after sale service at all
