Albert was great to deal with. followed up my expression of interest with a personal phone call to me. he was helpful and knowledgeable.
the only reason for a 4 star review and not a 5 is that these ship directly from Harvest right in the states and there is a bit of a lag/wait time -which i was told about BEFORE ordering-
wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. it would be nice if these were kept in stock in Canada, but they are expensive and its understandable not wanting to sit on $100k+ worth of stock

We received the unit yesterday with no issue and on time. We have been very satisfied with the service from Albert at Trimleaf. He spend a great deal of time on Victoria holiday Monday, answering all our questions and concerns. We are very excited to get started freeze drying food for storage.

Harvest Right concerns but remaining hopeful.
Trim Leaf receives 5 stars for delivering excellent customer service. It's the Harvest Right company and freeze dryer that has fallen somewhat short. There were no issues while placing the order and making payment, and emails regarding shipping and instructions were promptly sent. I had the product shipped to my dad's house to accommodate my work schedule and coordinated with him, based on the delivery date, for help (it's curbside delivery only). I'd typically be very happy to receive a parcel four days early, but it was very inconvenient in this case due to my dad having left town for the weekend. When an email outlines the shipping company will call ahead of delivery to confirm day and time, it's the process I expect and prepare for. The tracking status hadn't mentioned anything about the dryer being out for delivery that day; in fact, the location still showed it was in a city 8 hours away upon delivery. Anyway, thank goodness my dad's girlfriend was home to call me over (a 2-minute drive) to inspect the boxes and sign off (she was pressured by the delivery guy to sign before I arrived because it was after 8pm and his shift was ending, but she refused after I explained I had to make sure everything was intact). The freeze dryer arrived on half of a broken pallet, the box was damaged with loose strapping and the piece that the drain hose attaches to was exposed. Other than the one thin piece of foam the dryer sat on, there was no padding for protection (inside or out of the box) and the box only acted as a cover (it did not fully enclose the freeze dryer and could just be lifted off). Given this is a $5000 piece of equipment that is travelling a considerable distance, I feel there is a lot of room for improvement here. I'm sure packages are often mishandled and even naturally bounced around while in transit, and there's nothing that can be done about damage once the parcel is accepted. However, it's impossible to assess internal damage until the dryer is actually used so I did take issue with the subpar packaging. I called Harvest Right for direction (the product can't be returned once it's accepted/signed for), and waited as the next caller in line but the call was disconnected after a few minutes (closed for the night?). I called Trim Leaf and Albert was very helpful by listening to my concerns and walking me through the inspection process. The second box containing the accessories was already open and banged up (I imagine this happened at customs), as were the individual boxes inside but seemingly there was no actual damage to the product so I signed off on the parcel and made last minute calls and arrangements for help to transport the freeze dryer to my house. I allowed the dryer to set for 24 hours before starting the first batch.
All started well but then, no vacuum seal...
I restarted the batch and again, an error. It turns out the door didn't come close to sealing properly due to an almost 1 cm gap. I couldn't find the proper tools to adjust the door so I resorted to manually pushing it at the vaccuum stage. Apparently this is a very common issue, even though the freeze dryers are tested before shipment. I should have done more research beforehand and looked at the door more closely but it's still disappointing that the issue wasn't noted and resolved by Harvest Right during testing. Freeze drying has been on hold since that first batch but thanks to the YouTube content creators for clearly explaining how to go about fixing this. I'm hoping everything will be smooth once the kink is worked out.

I didn't know that a signature was required at delivery which lead to me getting the product a day later than expected. I feel this should be an option

The ordering process was super simple, my freeze Dryer arrived 2 days early, Just ran my first batch and it was Great! So happy!
Machine setup was not bad
Machine setup was not bad. I was a little disappointed with the packaging. The box was pretty damaged, but fortunately, the machine was fine. There were no foam protecting the machine inside the carton. Also, clear hose for the drain was not included like in the video.

I ordered the unit prior to tariffs coming in, and got it delivered a few weeks afterwards. TrimLeaf was very helpful in making things work. The unit is now here, I just have to get it onto the table. Soon...
