Well where to start? Sam organised a truly amazing 92 day trip to South America for us to mark our retirements. It was a special event (for us) that needed a special trip (even for them) and boy did they deliver for us. We wanted to travel the length of the country from south to north. We spent hours with Sam refining the trip and his great knowledge of, and insights into the continent gave us a trip to remember. We have been lucky to have traveled quite a lot and so we know the kinds of things we like (and don't like). He took our brief and produced an amazing itinerary that had us tick of a number of bucket list experiences. Hiked to the base of Fitzroy and the Torres del Paine, we climbed a snowy volcano in Chile, we visited the Atacama desert, we drove through the Bolivan Altiplano and spent an amazing day on the Uyuni salt flats, we kayaked and stayed on Lake Titicaca, we walked the Inca trail (we were the first group on the trail this season), we hiked a rainbow mounttain, we spent time in an Amazonian rain forest lodge, we birdwatched the cloud forest, we spent a week on the Galapagos Islands, we explored rural Colombia and we finished on a Caribbean beach. We also took in local cultures. We made corn beer in Peru, we made cholcolate and local food in Ecuador and we picked coffee, made tamales and tasted rum in Colombia. One of the best aspects of the trip was that we spent time with lots of locals and local guides who gave us an incredible insight into the way of life in the different countries. We heard some truly amazing stories of social and political changes from the past fifty years o so. And did we eat some great food and stay in some amazing locations throughout, from 4 star hotels (some of which were really 4 stars and some less so) to more simple lodges.
Sure we had a few hiccups at times but these were really minor in the grand scheme of things and we had 24 hour support from local agents to resolve any issues.
Overall, we had an amazing trip and we can not reccomend Sam and Travel Differently more highly. Spend time talking with them, tell them what you want, refine you plans and then get yourself on a plane and enjoy. 😎

We started planning this trip a long time ago and simply could not have done it without Sinead! She listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and improvements. She was always on hand and got back quickly and sympathetically on any questions or concerns we had.
We were a bit constrained by time, but Sinead made sure we got to see and experience as much of Ecuador and the Galapagos as possible, but without ever being rushed. We had enough time in each place to get a proper feel for where we were and to fully enjoy the amazing wild, bird, marine and cultural life on offer.
During our time there everyone was amazing – the guides, staff at hotels/lodges and drivers. Thoughtful, kind, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. We came away just wanting to go back!
Already thinking about “where next?”. Will definitely be using Travel Differently again!

We booked an amazingly enjoyable three month trip to Argentina, Chile and the Antarctic with Sinead at Travel Differently. There was a huge amount of planning, including multiple flights, hotels, car hire and tours and it all went perfectly. It was easy to contact Sinead, she spent time understanding what sort of a trip we wanted, and her suggestions and arrangements were spot on. I couldn't recommend her and Travel Differently more highly.

Our agent planned our trip to include additional small towns that were not on the usual tourist route. the support during the trip was fantastic.

Sam took time to listen and help us plan the trip. He really captured what we wanted. The hotels were all great - some really different and memorable. The pace suited us and didnt feel too rushed. The advice before and support during the trip was excellent - all arrangements went smoothly. Local guides were very knowledgable and trips provided some special experiences.

Sinead from Travel Differently organised 2.5 weeks of our trip to South America (Chile and Argentina) in early 2026. I normally organise everything myself but when we met her at a travel fair she persuaded us that she could add value particularly by getting us into accommodation in Torres del Paine NP that I was finding difficult to pin down. She and her teams in Chile and Argentina did a good job putting the package together (flights, hotels, buses, car hire, tour) and that part of our trip ran smoothly, with less for me to do or worry about. On the rare occasion we needed some local support, her teams responded quickly and helpfully.
Sinead took time to understand our requirements and always replied quickly. The hotels were excellent and well-sited. The car hire arrangements worked flawlessly and we were very glad that we went for her suggestions in Torres del Paine NP. The overall package was competitively-priced.
We would strongly recommend using Travel Differently.

Sam listened carefully to what I wanted from the holiday and was able to build a 6 day self drive element into an existing itinerary that matched our requirements.
Emails were responded to quickly often with additional information and suggestions. Plenty of information was provided about booking ferries and sightseeing independently along the route.
Overall a very professional and courteous service which I would not hesitate to recommend to others or use again.

Just got back from the most wonderful trip to the Galapagos. I have to say this was one of the best organised and stunning trips I have had in a very long time. Aside from the Islands the trip to the cloud forest was beautiful but being the rainy season it was wet, wet, wet! Sinead worked with me with empathy and sensitivity to my requirements and was always available to respond. I would definitely use them again.

When we received Sam's itinerary for our trip to Peru and Ecuador, we knew it was going to be a great trip. Little did we know just how incredible an adventure it would be.

From the moment we landed in Lima to leaving Quito three weeks later, we were treated like VIPs. Every flight, transfer, guide and specialist tour had been meticulously arranged by Sam. We were collected from every flight, escorted to every hotel, and accompanied by experienced guides for every tour, with our own private driver throughout.

The guides' knowledge enabled us to see places we would never have found on our own and learn so much more about all the amazing sites we visited, including the Maras salt mines, the Misminay community, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Sacsayhuaman and Santa Cruz, Santa Fe and Isabela islands in the Galapagos.

We had an action-packed three weeks with ten flights, two boats and nine hotels across two countries, and everything ran seamlessly. We had WhatsApp numbers for the local team and knew we had Sam available if needed.

All in all, we had a magical holiday.

Had a great experience with Traveldifferently. Sinead organised two trips for me in Brazil, which I was struggling to do myself. Both trips were tailored really well to what I wanted to do and the time I had available. I was really impressed with the responsiveness and attention to detail throughout. Sinead was great in answering all the questions I had and making small adjustments to the itinerary quickly if needed. The personalised approach made a huge difference compared to other companies I’ve used. Would highly recommend using Traveldifferently for personalised trips.

Travel Differently (of Beccles, Suffolk, UK) organised a fantastic trip for us in Chile in late 2025. They arranged flights, car hire, accommodation and transfers and everything worked well. Putting together the itinerary was a collaborative effort between us and Travel Differently and any suggestions that we made were welcomed. Back-up and support was provided throughout the trip and, when needed, was helpful. Sinead, who coordinated our itinerary, was always available to answer queries and deal with issues as they arose. I can highly recommend this company.

Sinead and Sam were both brilliantly helpful when planning our Chile itinerary and continued to be available to us for any issues while on our trip. Really enjoyed the whole experience with Travel Differently which felt like such a luxury to not have to do all the intricacies of planning ourselves! Would highly recommend for thoughtful and fun planning 🙂

Sinead at "Travel Differently" was the only one of 4 people I approached who actually listened carefully to my requests for the kind of holiday I wanted (dates, countries, type of hotels, etc) and responded swiftly with ideas for a complete programme. She was sensitive to my requests for specific experiences (eg a live-aboard in the Galapagos) while also making her own suggestions (eg 'I'd go to Patagonia before the Atacama Desert because it'll be a full moon in the Atacama otherwise, no good for star-gazing’). She also gave me valuable support and back-up during the trip, responding to requests for changes or information in real time. All in all, I'd strongly recommend "Travel Differently" to others - indeed, I already have done!

Sinead organised a fantastic trip to Chile for my two friends and I. We spent time in Santiago, the Atacama desert, the Lake District area and Patagonia. There were quite a few internal flights which all went to plan, and all the guides and drivers were on time, friendly and very informative. We enjoyed all the suggested hotels that we stayed in. We would definitely recommend Travel Differently and use them again in the future.

Sam from Travel Differently recently organised a fantastic trip to Brazil for us.
We first visited Rio then flew to the Amazon from there we travelled to the Iguazu Falls both the Brazilian and Argentina side then finally time to relax in Buzios
All arrangements went flights connections transfers and guides.
The hotels chosen were just what we wanted.
We would highly recommend Travel Differently for their personal touch professional service and value for money

Travel Differently organised such a fabulous trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos for us, everything and everyone were absolutely brilliant. As 2 over 70 year olds we were constantly asking so many questions and were initially pretty nervous about travelling so far. We needn’t have been as all the staff and tour guides in Ecuador were amazing and we just didn’t want the trip to end. Completely magical in every way.

My wife and I just returned from a personal tour of Quito and the Galápagos Islands, and thanks to Sinead and the entire South American team, it may just be our best tour ever. We were originally scheduled to go on a group tour, but when we’re notified in late July that the tour was cancelled because not enough signed up, I contacted Travel Differently. I sent them our group tour itinerary and asked if they could offer a tour for us. Within 48 hours, we had a proposal for a private tour in the same price range! I applaud the guides for their knowledge and flexibility. They quickly “read” us and identified our interests, and offered us some alternative activities that matched our interests. All of our hotels were top notch, and offered us services that more than met our expectations. As an example, while in Quito, we stayed in the Old Town area. We were going out to a restaurant about 8 blocks away, and because of light rain there were no cabs available. Our hotel offered to have one of their security staff walk with us to our restaurant!
In summary, I highly recommend them to you as caring experts who know South America and who have established relationships with the best tour guides, drivers, and hotels available. You will not be disappointed

All arrangements were well thought out, guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, equipment was in great shape, and accommodations were very nice and well located. Overall, a great experience!
