Horrible experience as a freelancer. I signed up and told them about what I offered, completed my profile and then was sent a lead. Turns out the company was looking for completely different skills. I kept following up with the recruiter a traktion who just completely ignored all my email from then on.

Wow, my two years with Traktion have been nothing short of incredible! The concept is brilliant, and I've had the opportunity to work on exciting briefs from day one. The platform's seamless process for connecting with clients is a game-changer. Plus, now they offer a wide range of ecommerce briefs!

yGreat concept, initially had a few briefs and some work. Raised an issue about a client I was working with needing responses out of hours - stopped working with the client but was very open the entire time with Traktion about the issues. Wasn't made aware of anything I had done wrong. I've never received another brief from them again. I have asked and received responses that they simply don't have the ecommerce clients/briefs and along with contradicting advice it was because my experience with previous client. Such a shame as a great concept - just didn't seem to be managed well or very supportive in my experience. UPDATE - Not sure about the 24 hour mention in the Traktion response below (this may have been from an out of office reply on email so this seems slighty out of context) - had this conversation had been had at the time this would have been clarified. This wasn't raised with me at all. In regards to brief to conversion rate - it was a brand new product with no sales. The site has a super low conversion rate which I was not responsible for and also the client wouldn't listen to my recommendations (and kept changing the ads themselves) therefore made it very difficult to do my job. None of the issues mentioned in your response were raised at the time so it's very surprising to hear this now. I asked for more specific feedback at the time and was told that you agreed it was down to their lack of experience and to be very clear on ways of working (which I was) with the next client. I would never even bother with writing a review but I am very clear on the facts which I have outlined. Sorry to say but Traktion have just got this wrong.

Great talent on the platform - good support and service from the team

Excellent platform offering the marketing talent that early stage startups need to go to the next level. The freelancer we were allocated helped us set up the right systems to launch and track advertising campaigns, aggregate data from these campaigns, and provide the knowledge and know how to continue doing things in-house.

1st review from a Freelancer on the platform instead of a client review. The platform offers no protection to freelancers, a client didn’t want to pay the second month of their committed contract, and Traktion accepted this without consulting with me. They make decisions on your behalf with your clients. Avoid at all cost, currently taking legal action against this company to recoup owed monies.
It started well, a great call with the founder, good customer support and a few leads, but it all falls apart when things go wrong. The founder just says they have no responsibility even though your legal contract is with Traktion and then he makes the decision on your behalf with your clients. They can't have it both ways.

I had high hopes for this platform, since it felt more premium than Upwork, but I find the company very 2 faced and they are purely in it for the money. They protect their clients 1st and expect the freelancer to “take the hit” as the founder Saher told me on the phone.

Fantastic experience from star to finish. The opportunities are hyper targeted to us, and easy to respond to. Payment is prompt and simple. Would definitely recommend!

Traktion have been great to work with so far. I have 1 active client from them and a couple I'm pitching for at the moment. They always provide good quality client requests that have been pre-qualified so they're able to give me a good level of detail before pitching. Saher has always made himself available if more info is needed or to help push things along.
