A dishonest outfit that i would suggest you keep away from
My experience started with a call from a guy that explained he needed a firm like our to carry out around thirty EICRs a month and the associated works, i explained we were busy enough and that we do not use marketing companies or agencies to find us work, however at that time we were looking at the option of taking on another full time electrician to ease the workload on the other guys, so discussed options with him as it was felt it could be an option to break the new guy in giving us a few calls to fill vacancies in the work schedule for the first few months. they also offered assurances that the calls put forward to us were screened for affordability and to ensure our time was not being wasted

For this they wanted £480 , the account was set up and within the 12 months we received 1 call that was a a complete waste of time it was for a new board and rewire on a small house but the client wanted to spend no more than £1400 ,

Twelve months down the line you are at the renewal stage and the manager calls about the exciting working partnership over the last twelve months i explained the above and he asked me to give him a minute to look through my file and he would call me back , i will surprise you now and say he never called , three weeks later the assistant manager called with the same patter and lies , i explained the above situation with the added point of waiting for the manager to call back he again said he would go and investigate my account and get back to me i am sure this will come as no surprise three months later still no call
i see only two possible options here one being they are not receiving anything like the number of requests that they said they were so they are dishonest about that claim or they are not distributing out the work fairly so again they are dishonest , theres a pattern developing here. if you are a tradesman i would advise you think long and hard before giving them money and if your a member of the public i would suggest do you really want to be involved with a company that treats their members like this , all that wasted time and cost just gets added in to your quotes to claim those losses back

Signed up 2 months ago I must admit I was very skeptical at the time I can honestly say that I have generated a steady stream of phone calls which I have converted into business. I will 100% be renewing as I’ve made a healthy return on my invest.

Honestly, had a great chat with them. Sounded all good, happy with what they told me. Then came the conversation about payment. Now they require £440 upfront for 6 months. They also do take control of speaking to potential customers. Once i raised my concerns about paying that amount upfront. Quote ( right Chris I'm going to cut this conversation short) that is not a good sign. If your a trade, avoid!

It all seems to be the tradesmens fault, the whole point of your site is to get people work js it not ????

And quite a few people on here haven't got any work out of it ....

So it's a con!

A waste of time

Got some good jobs in over the past year. Just called me to renew and didn't hesitate. Also now sorting me a website out. Great service thanks guys 👍

4 months in and pleased so far. Worth the investment. Wanted to leave review as it's a shame only short sighted people who don't give it chance seem to just leave bad reviews!

Avoid !
Great sales pitch
But you do not get any calls
And then they call you to renew and try lying to you saying you have had 47 calls within this time period
Joke of a company just save your money

Not trust worthy at all , I bought their lead for 3 months and paid £418 on the condition of getting 10 jobs in a month it’s nearly 2 months now , I didn’t get anything I spoke to their boss but they are modern thief so don’t get fall in theirs traps . Never recommend them , rubbish company , big disappointment

Used this company to find a builder for my elderly Aunt and Uncle, and I was not disappointed, the company I used were amazing and really paid attention to detail! I will definitely be coming back to this website any time I am in need of a tradesman!

My husband has recently just renewed for a further 6 months with tradesmen online, he started up a year ago and has had a good cash flow of jobs come though… would definitely recommend for new companies, we’re really happy with this service

Got a cold call from a lady selling this service . I was told there was a big shortage in my area for my particular services. She actually said it would be embarrassing for her if she could not get me at least the money I had paid them in jobs . Well after 3 months I didn’t even receive one call or inquiry. Do not use this company !

I paid for one year. I didn't get a single call from the clients during that time. 300 pounds went to the bin.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad who recently became a member of Tradesmen Online. He’s never really bothered with advertising online before as he’s been a plasterer for over 30 years and always had enough work but thought he’d trial it for 6 months. It’s been about 4 months since he joined and he’s positive he will be paying for it again when the time comes to renew, he thinks highly of his account manager Darcy who continues to support when he’s got any queries.

This company reached out to me in May and I thought i’d give it a go for 6 months. Wasn’t too familiar with the company so I was a bit wary at first, spoke to a young lady called Darcy who was great with walking time through the process. highly recommend.

Had a cold call from this company today. A very charming lady and I decided to give her the platform and allow her the time to show me what was in her locker. After about 10 minutes of listening to her rattle on about how great Tradesmen online were and about how they were affiliated with this ‘Grand Designs’ TV show (never heard of it, as I don’t watch rubbish TV like that); I decided that I’d heard just about enough of her rubbish.

You see, I’m not 5 minutes in business. I understand that a lot of these tradesmen platforms are full of it. They promise the earth and deliver very little or absolutely nothing. Most of them are run by white collar types, who believe that the man in the white van is stupid. This lady really did sound very stupid indeed, especially when I turned the screw and started talking about my experience of these types of platforms and when I started to enquire about prices, she couldn’t answer any of my questions; instead telling me that she’d have to feed information into the system and that she’d call me back.

They won’t call me back, because they know that I know they’re a scam outfit and they know that I wouldn’t touch their product with a disinfected barge poll. Thank you very much to the lady wasting 16 minutes of her life trying though.

I’m totally of the opinion that the positive reviews are completely fake. The positive Facebook reviews are completely laughable - clearly not tradesmen.

I’ve decided to review for awareness and to warn tradesmen to stay away from lead generation companies. Generate your own leads and get these scam artists out of your cities. More work for everybody then.
