Was my first bus trip and it went way above my expectations! Very organized and helped me get 2 things off my bucket list (Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore). Everything else we experienced was bonus! Our Tour Director Tyler and our bus driver Clint were amazing. Both informative and personable. The small group was nice too. Plan on doing another trip in the near future. Thank you Tours of Distinction!

Tours are fun, organized, have great guides and really well managed!

Great tour guide, many great people, and good food and accommodation. I would highly recommend this tour. Everything was spectacular. 5 stars!

I recently ( Aug. 11 to Aug. 18) took a trip to Mackinaw Island. It was an amazing experience. I would add one more day at Mackinaw, and another day in Niagara Falls to visit Niagara on the Lake because everything was so fast. I would suggest to add in the packing list a bathing suit because only one person and I took it. All the hotels have a covered pool and a hot tub. I am also writing this mail to congratulate Loretta our tour director.She did a great job! She deserves to be praised. I enjoyed the tour and hopefully I will consider doing another one in the future with your company.

WOW! I got excited when I read the itinerary? But it was even More than I expected! I wish we cud have spent more time in each place but there was SO many places to explore? I have been in Utah Parks but none of the was a Repeat? Our guide Loretta was very busy but kept it all on Track. I had a great time with fun group of people!

I took a trip with Tours of Distinction that hit all the highspots. Our first stop was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and we were left to explore this fabulous museum at our own pace, I really enjoyed that because there were certain eras of music I liked better than others. The next day our tour guide gave us the lay of the land and we got to spend the whole day at Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum, it was great because again, we had the flexibility to see things at our own pace. After that we headed to Mackinac Island - for me the highlight of the trip. The boat ride went smoothly so did the horse and carriage rides around the island and lunch at the Grand Hotel was amazing. Again, the best thing about this portion of the trip was that after our horse and carriage guided tour and lunch at the Grand Hotel, we had plenty of time to go shopping for fudge. The surprise of the trip was Frankenmuth known as America's Little Bavaria - what fun we had there in a German-styled restaurant. The cool part of this trip was seeing Niagra Falls from the Canadian side. I liked this trip because it included a wide variety of top attractions and left me with enough free time to explore on my own. Our tour leader was knowledgable, told us to order white fish on Mac Island, and was very familiar with all the attractions. She even brought the movie, Somewhere in Time to show on one of the long motorcoach rides to catch the bus to Mackinac Island. The food was good, the best was the buffet at the grand hotel, family style in Frankenmuth was also a treat - the chicken was delicious. If you are looking to see a variety of attractions with enough time left over to explore on your own, this trip packs a lot of bang for the buck.

I would just like to point out to be absolutely sure that you want to go on a trip BEFORE you make a deposit. Regardless of the amount of notice you give them, your deposit will not be returned per their rules and regulations, and you may even be responsible for a percentage of the total trip cost depending upon the date you give them notice. Full payment for my tour was required 90 days in advance of the actual tour. Their rules and regulations are seven pages long, and you should read them carefully. My decision to cancel was based on the fragile state of affairs in our country and that in all likelihood another pandemic (bird flu) will be declared forcing vaccinations to fly, which I absolutely would refuse to take.

Our tour leader, Janet, was just the best. She did a fabulous job of "herding the cats"! It was not an easy job. The tour overall was not the greatest. Two whole day were spent traveling that only gave us three days to tour. We had no time to walk around the cities for shopping or sight seeing on our own. So we never experienced these cities except for a guided tour on a bus.

In Charleston we spent half a day at a tea factory! What a waste of time that was. It was so cold at night, and we were told to go on a boat tour that night!

Beaufort was beautiful and the horse drawn carriage ride was wonderful as was the lady giving the tour through Beaufort. But again, there was no time to explore the town and shops on our own. We had a break for lunch and that was it.

Savannah - Dinner at Paula Dean's was such a disaster. Cocktails were served after dinner and the food was awful. I had heard how awesome the shopping was in Savannah. No time for that. Did have time to walk on the River Front - at night. Then we had to go to the Julliette Low Birthplace House. That was so boring. So many other great things to see in that historic town.

From the windows of a bus, I saw that these were lovely towns, and I will have to go back on my own to experience them.
